Florence's eyes lit up when she spotted Zodac arrive, and even give a good piece of information. Brooke, pregnant? It made her shiver with excitement! Everything was already beginning to slot into place, and Florence could not wait until next week, where they would be attacking the Tempest Pack. The thought of slaughtering Brooke's puppies, just as she had slaughtered one of her cubs... he needed to do it. She needed to force Brooke to see the death of her own puppies. Florence had still not gotten over the dead cub incident. As much as Florence had told herself she would not love her cubs, it was difficult not to grow attached to the little rats after carrying them for so long. Now they were just a nuisance, but her hormones had been running haywire that day. Shaking her head, she looked over at the approaching Panja, who was late. Trust him. A small smirk appeared on her lips, yet she listened to what he had to say.
She averted her eyes at the mention of the murdered cub, yet he had a good point. She will be focusing on food, and that is where the hunters came in. Her mind began to sew all the pieces of information together. This was going to be good. Her eyes scanned the rest of the crowd, until she saw the cougar step forward. Emile, his name was, and she listened carefully to what he had to say. A good point, as well. They needed to surprise the Tempest Pack. They had to attack in places they least expected it. Florence wondered whether the pack even had a clue that they were being plotted about. She highly doubted it, yet if any of these cats whispered so much as a word to another dog, their head would be ripped off within seconds. She did not want this getting out to anyone.
Then came Silence and Baar. She too had heard that a feline slave was serving the Tempest Pack. She didn't believe this slave would be interested in joining her pack, but Silence gave a good point on how they could somehow trick her into getting information. Maybe they could abduct the cat and drag it back to the Iris lands? She could torture all information out of the little rodent. Baar spoke of escorting Florence to Brooke, and she grimaced. She was well aware that this dog was a good fighter, and she nodded to the cat, before her eyes met Icefang's.
A good point. And a back-up plan was also a good idea. If the plan was to fail, they wouldn't be at loss as to what to do with themselves. With a nod, her eyes moved to Buddy's. Yet another good point, and Florence had so many ideas that she wasn't sure what to do with them all. After a few minutes of silence and thinking, Florence frowned and stepped forward.
"To begin, I will ask all hunters to bring back as much food as possible in this week," She began, and turned to Silence, "Silence will lead the hunting party. We will need to stock up on as much meat as possible," She then took a deep breath, "The food stores in the Tempest Pack - they will be, without a doubt, situated in the asylum. If we access their stores then we can destroy and steal as much food as possible. On the day of attack, we will need to access these stores." Florence decided to go back to that later, as she had still not finished with what was going on before the attack. "As Buddy mentioned, creating a distraction is key. If they think we have begun our attack a few days beforehand, then all warriors will be focusing on a certain part of the Packlands, whilst the real fight hasn't even begun."
Her eyes scanned the warriors faces, before she grinned, "Icefang," She announced loudly, "You will lead the fighting party two days before the actual attack. You are the cat that looks most like me, and should you attack in the night, the stupid dogs will know no different. They will believe it is I who is attacking their precious lands." Yet one lioness against the whole Pack was not enough. She needed more. "Zodac, you will join her. Along with the two big cats, I will need more." She watched as many of the cats began to step forward, claiming they will help attack the Pack. Florence nodded once over a dozen smaller cats offered to help. "You will attack at the cliffs. We will hopefully attract many of the warriors to the cliffs and kill them."
"During the faux attack, we will be training every single cat in the Pride, whether you are hunter or guard, you will be trained on how to fight. This is a precaution that I must take, in case we lose too many cats." A few murmurs and nods wavered through the crowd, and Florence sighed. This was beginning to get confusing. "On the actual day, we will attack the whole Pack. By this, I mean we will not be focusing our attention on the asylum, but the whole of the packlands. Emile," Florence addressed the cougar, "You will lead a party of cats to the cemetery. Should you complete the task of killing all dogs there, you will head straight to the asylum, wherein you will assist me and the rest of the warriors."
Finally, it was the attack of the asylum itself. "Jinx, you will take the front entrance of the asylum. This is where most guards will be posted. You will be used as a distraction. Take as many cats as you need to help you, do you understand?" Locking eyes with Jinx briefly, she then turned to look at Baar, "Baar and I will take the back entrance. Should anyone hear of Hades, he will be used as yet another distraction before us, to shock the idiot dogs. Who would expect a liger in their asylum?" Florence chuckled loudly. They didn't need Hades especially, but it may be helpful for him being there, "Once Hades and Jinx distract their guards, Hades will head upstairs to the food stores. Baar and I will also head upstairs in search for Brooke. The rest of the warriors will attack the asylum at full force."
Florence's body quivered with excitement, "As I mentioned beforehand, Silence," She addressed the lead hunter, "You will also assist Hades in the food store, along with the rest of the hunters. You will access the asylum from the roof, and head downwards. The dogs won't expect this, however I warn you that there'll be guards posted outside the stores. Be wary. You may need to wait for Hades to attack them."
Florence had yet to speak to the spies, however, "Curium," She addressed, staring at the spy, "I need you to enter the Tempest Packlands as soon as possible, and speak with their slave. Try not to get spotted. Trick the slave, and find out the guards' routines. I must know where the food store is located, and where Brooke is most likely to be found. Find out as much as possible, is that clear?" She asked the cat, before she let out a shaky breath.
"And finally," She said loudly, staring out at the whole Pride, "Should any guard or 'other' want to be part of this attack, say so now. There are many large cats that could be of use in this attack, yet they are not warriors," Her eyes met Panja's briefly, "We need as many cats as possible for this to work."
Letting out a sigh, she lowered to her haunches, "And if anyone can think of a back-up plan, please say so. Should there be any faults with this plan, speak now."

Buddy waited quiely along with the rest of the Pride as Florence recieved the ideas from her followers. There was two or three minutes' silence, in which she was obvoiusly thinking of a plan. When she began to speak, the tom nodded approvingly to himself. Surely no canine was as cunning as the lioness? He watched and listened as she detailed certain felines to certain jobs that would be essential to making the plan work smoothly. Hunters, spies, and warriors were all told what they were to do and when. The Iris Pride leader's plan was one of great complexity, and the hulking tomcat saw no gaping holes or possible bluders that could be made while the Iris Pride were carrying out the plan.
The Scottish Wildcat flicked his tail, happy with the way things were going. At this rate, the Tempest Pack would be crushed, along with their new leader and her future puppies. When Florence asked for any guards or those of the 'other' rank who would like to be involved in the actual attack, Buddy meowed, "I would like to be part of this attack." His claws, body, and whole being was, in truth, itching for a good fight, and this would doubtlessly be a good fight. He suddenly thought of Xarkla again, and hoped that he could get her out of the Hospital and back to the Lexis Tribe before the actual attack. That way, everyone would be too busy to notece the absence of one feline captive.

Emile grinned widely at Florence's instructions. He gave a swift nod as he replied;
"Do not worry Florence, the Graveyard will have a few more dead by the time i am finished with it. It is an honor to be put in command." He spoke with confidence but not smugly or anything like that; he thought of it as a given. He would make sure a canine died, at least.
His mind began to wander as to who would oppose him when the attack began. He hoped he'd see that white furred bitch again so he could rip her throat out with his fangs. A small chuckle escaped his lips as his tail flicked back and forth as his claws touched the ice and sunk into it. A week couldn't go by quick enough.
In the mean time, he'd have to keep well fed, and make sure those who wished to go with him well fed, too. It'd do no good to have a weak link in the chain, would it? Certainly not in a task such as this.
He glanced over towards the general direction of the Tempest territory and gave a savage grin. This would be a massacre, and he couldn't well wait.
"If i may, Florence?" Emile piped up "I cannot accomplish this by myself with a number of small cats. Anyone who wishes to join me in my section of the attack - Florence allowing - is welcome."

Listening as each cat gave his or her input, Panja had to marvel at his pride’s intelligence. Whatever dog said that the Iris Pride could not function as a pack and work together would surely think otherwise once this plan was put into effect. He didn’t speak for some time, only giving the occasional nod when he found a suggestion that really appealed to him. It wasn’t until Florence had finished fully laying out their strategy did he turn to the puma, Emile, and offer, “I would be happy to assist you, friend. You will need my strength.”
The initial raid, the ‘faux attack’ as Florence put it, was probably more important, but seeing as it was being led by Icefang, Panja opted out of that one. It wasn’t much of a secret that he and the white lioness, despite how similar they were in appearance, didn’t see eye to eye in much of anything. He didn’t need an argument erupting between them while in the heat of battle; it could very well blow their cover. Besides that, Panja and Emile had already worked together before in the torture of a certain hospital scum. He felt it was a much better option to lend a paw to the cougar.
It was an intricate strategy to be sure, but he couldn’t see much of a flaw in it. Even if some mistakes were made, it likely wouldn’t end up affecting the whole plan in the long run. With so many powerful fighters, him and the other big cats especially, they were bound to lay waste to the weak canines in seconds. One thing kept nagging in the back of Panja’s mind, though, so he decided to share what he thought could become a concern. “If we’re seeking the element of surprise, we will need to disguise our scents. Those dogs have incredible noses that could sniff us out before we even enter Tempest territory.” Thoughtfully, he narrowed his eyes and added, “It may sound crude, but what if we bathed ourselves in mud prior to the assault? Our smell and our bodies would be concealed.” It was rather disgusting to think of, he had to admit, especially for felines who loved to maintain a clean pelt, but it might just prevent an early ambush by the mutts.

Icefang nodded at Florence's orders. "I'm sure Amoraq would be glad to join me," the lioness listened to the other positions that were adressed. She liked the idea of the mutts mistaking her for Florence. She would howl with laughter at the thought of watching their shocked faces. A growl of approval escaped her lips at Panja's idea. She and the lion may not of seen eye to eye but that didn't mean they'd have to be worst enemies. Flicking her tail she grimaced at the mud. She wouldn't be so joyful to have the substance clinging to her fur, but if it disguised their scent, she'd do it. "Mud is a good idea. It may not sound to great, but a disguise would make this plan stronger."
The female gazed at the other members as she seeked out any cats that she found would be a good addition to her party. The ivory bitch tried to think of any faults with the plan. So far, it was great and she couldn't think of anything that came to mind. Icefang already knew how she'd get the warriors up in the mountains. The night would be silent and a roar would surely catch the Tempest Pack's attention. It was just to perfect. Taking out the hunters, their only way for food and the warriors, their greatest protection would leave Tempest Pack defenseless. Maybe this attack would be the one to kill the whole pack. Then, all Iris had to do is take Lexis Tribe as slaves or kill them all. Iris Pride would be the true rulers of Hexasol. A grin came on her features as the plan was just to perfect.
Icefang turned her head to the rest of the members. "This is not the time for mistakes. This might be the chance for Iris Pride to defeat Tempest Pack....we shall make no mistakes." A growl escapes her as she eyes each of the members. "When all the warriors and hunters are attacked, make sure none of them escape." The lioness stopped her announcement as she dug her claws into the snow. She would surely harm anybody that messed up this plan.

He made no comments, no soft snickers or growls of agreement, nor of disapproval. The leopard was silent, eyes narrowed to glinting slits; snow stuck to the tips of his fur, turning him nearly completely white save for minuscule speckles of black scattered about his body. His chest barely even heaved when he breathed in the icy air that froze his lungs. So they would attack the Tempest Pack. Why was he not surprised? Had they nothing better to worry about? Say, their own survival through this God damned blizzard?
No. Of course not. Fucking Florence, the bloodthirsty Empress of Death and Disaster... He had once looked up to the queen of the Pride, but now she would really risk her own life for her desire to wipe out the canines? He would have nothing, nothing, to do with any of this. Though keeping his eyes nearly closed, he could feel the malevolent presence of the other felines around him. The noise that they were making, the suggestions they were spitting out, made his tail twitch and his lips curl distastefully. They all seemed fairly distracted, and it's not like he had any friends... he was still practically considered the scum of the Pride, without being officially named such.
He nearly missed the moment when Florence said his name. He looked up at her as he twitched, about to stand and leave. "Jinx, you will take the front entrance of the asylum. This is where most guards will be posted. You will be used as a distraction." He made no move to acknowledge her, simply met her eyes with stifled defiance. Damn it, you filthy witch, I will have nothing to do with this, he wanted to howl at her, You had a thousand chances before to make me feel useful, but now you're nothing. He fought back the remark, and as quickly as she mentioned him she looked away, and began to speak of other things. He wondered, again, if he could slip out.
Nobody would miss me, he decided softly. Lifting himself off of his numb haunches, he slunk off to the back of the crowd, slipping soundlessly behind them, over mounds of snow and over icy metal sheets that led to gutters on the rooftops. Though once or twice, claws scraped on said sheets, he was silent. He made his way to the place where he had leaped onto the roof from the other small shed, and hesitantly he slid down, grunting as another shock-wave of pain rippled up through the marrow of his bones. Grimacing but otherwise quiet, he slid more cautiously down, and as soon as his paws touched the snowy earth he raced off.
Nobody will miss me... The thought became suddenly disheartening. His hatred of Florence and the Pride, grew stronger with each step he took away. And then a suddenly shocking thought came to him. "Kill the machine," he whispered, and the words were lost as he disappeared.

Florence eyed Buddy curiously, and wondered where he should be posted. Before she could speak up, already Emile was speaking of how he needed more, and she nodded in agreement. It was true that a few measly cats wouldn't be enough, and soon enough Panja was offering himself. She knew he would never go and fight with Icefang. She had heard of how he spoke of her. With a smirk, she turned back to Buddy and nodded. "You will go to the front entrance of the asylum with Jinxer. You will be used as a distraction - try and catch the smaller dogs and avoid the larger ones." The wildcat was only small compared to a wolf, but she was sure that Buddy would be able to cope. Her eyes searched the crowd for Jinxer, but it looked as though he had disappeared. Florence frowned. Had she imagined him being here, or had he actually walked off? Florence decided not to dwell upon it - she could speak to him later if she needed to.
"My guess is that the hunters in the Tempest Pack are travelling to the country to find food. This week I want anyone wandering the country to try and pick up the scent of Tempest and find those hunters and kill them. The less food they get, the weaker they will be." Florence nodded, then turned to Panja. He was right. They all reeked of Iris Pride, and would be detected almost immediately. Florence frowned at the idea of mud. Cats were the breed that washed themselves daily and liked to keep themselves clean, yet as much as she wanted to be clean, disguising themselves with mud was a good idea. Where on Earth were they going to get mud in weather like this, though? Her eyes looked out onto the white city and shook her head. All mud would be frozen up and impossible to cover themselves with.
"It's winter, may I remind you all," She replied, "The mud is frozen and icy, and also buried under inches of snow. We cannot access it." They needed another way to disguise their scent... "Does anyone have any ideas on how to disguise our scent with easily accessible products?" She looked out at the Pride, eyes narrowed. It would be convenient if they found a Tempest Pack member that they could smother themselves with, but the thought nearly made Florence gag. There are very few plants still alive that they could smear on their bodies to mask the scent. Florence was stumped, and hoped that the Pride had other ideas.

Buddy dipped his head in acknowledgement as Florence told him that he would go to the entrance of the mental asylum, with Jinxerbee, to act as a distraction. "I will, Florence." He meowed.Try and catch the smaller dogs and avoid the larger ones," She instructed him. I'll distract them alright, he though with savage pleasure. And dodging around any big canines will be easy. I'll be smaller, and faster. Looking around for Jinxerbee, he noticed that the snow leopard was no longer there. I could swear that he was here before, the tabby tom thought, surprised. His green eyes darkened. But then, he's always been a strange one. I've heard rumours that he has exstensive conversations with dogs- and has even made friends with the odd canine. He should be glad, or relieved at the least, that Florence hasn't heard about it.
The Scottish Wildcat thought about the Tempest hunters that the lioness spoke of, telling her Pride that any that were sighted were to be killed. If I could do that on the way back to Iris Territory, after I had freed Xarkla, then Florence wouldn't doubt my loyalty. If I can play a big enough part in the attack, and I do have to say that I accidentaly let Xarkla escape, then I'm sure she'll forgive me. He turned his attention back to Florence, who was pointing out that any mud that could be used to disguise scents was buried deep under the snow. He flicked his ear as a snowflake attempted to settle there, and thought for a moment, before speaking up. He wanted to contribute as much as was possible to this meeting. "What if we roll in the carcasses of prey, once the meat from it is eaten?" He enquired. "I believe that that was how the group from the Tempest Pack got into the hospital undetected, when they rescued their Warden." He knew that he could be treading oun dangerous grounds, saying such things, but he was merely pointing it out because that one example proved that disguising one's scent in prey actually worked.

As more and more cats gathered, Curium had appraised each of them wordlessly. Most of them he'd only ever caught brief glimpses of. Not that it really mattered right now, since they hadn't gathered out in the blizzard just to make idle chatter--it was to hear what Florence had to say, and hear it he did. It was a bold plan, and it seemed nearly everyone was just as eager for it as the leader herself. Attacking the Tempest Pack? Somehow he was not taken back. It was only a matter of time, especially after the canines' own raid to rescue their now missing leader. It made sense to attack when they were weak. On the other hand, it was not as if the cold affected only the dogs--the Pride itself were no more resistant to the blizzard than them. Up till now, however, the Siamese said nothing from his perch on the roof. Occasionally he would flick an ear in surprise, but other than that, he betrayed not other sign of emotion. He was merely a silent witness of the plot unfolding before him, feeling somewhat detached from it all. A movement caught his eye, and upon looking closer, he recognized it as a snow leopard, almost completely camouflaged in snow. His gaze narrowed as he watched--what had Florence called him? Jinx--slipped away from the rest of the gathered crowd.
Before he could think much of it, he heard the lioness call his name. He looked up, meeting her commanding gaze evenly. "Of course," he curtly replied. That could be rather difficult. If she's indeed a slave, my guess is that they won't stray far from the center of their territory. This he kept to himself. I can worry about that later though, Curium decided as he tuned back into the ongoing discussion of how to disguise their scent. "What if we roll in the carcasses of prey, once the meat from it is eaten? I believe that that was how the group from the Tempest Pack got into the hospital undetected, when they rescued their Warden." Prey? At this, he spoke up. "It may have worked then, but that doesn't mean it'll work now. That time, there was more prey to be found; now, it'll only seem suspicious if they suddenly scent loads of it on their territory. We could roll around on their borders though, and disguise ourselves in their own scent. If we're going to be killing their guards, there's also the possibly of simply using the smell of the bodies--yes, it is revolting, but it would be harder for them to distinguish us from their own members."

Florence listened to Buddy's choice on how they should roll around in their prey's carcasses. Perhaps a good idea in the height of summer, when a barrage of prey would not be uncommon in their lands, but in the height of winter, it was not the case. They would become suspicious, and obviously it seemed her and Curium were on the same wavelength. She turned to look at the cat and tilted her head when she mentioned they should roll around in the borders. It would look odd, to say the least, but it was the best they got. She sighed and nodded to her. Curium was right, at least. As much as she disliked the stench of the Tempest Pack, they would have to mask their own scent with it if they wanted to go undetected in their territory. She grimaced visibly, before stepping forward. The meeting was nearing to a close, and she needed to wrap everything up and confirm what was going on.
"Curium is right. We must mask our scent with the Tempest's. It may disgust you, but if we want to get to the heart of their Pack, then we need to go undetected." She turned to the look at the white lioness, "Icefang," Then she looked at the tiger, "Zodac, you will both bring back as many of your killed guards as possible. We will use their bodies to keep the Tempest dogs off the scent. We will need you both at the cliffs on the day of our attack as well. Kill as many guards as possible." She took a deep breath. Everything had slotted into place, "Should anyone get injured during the battle, do not wait for my command. Leave as soon as possible. If the battle does not go our way, then wait until my order to retreat. If I am not there, I am placing my trust to Panja. His roar will be heard across the Tempest Pack, should he realise that we are losing the battle." Florence hoped that would never happen - they needed to win this!
Twitching her ears, Florence looked out at the Pride, "If you know of cats that are not here today, then tell them of this battle. If any cat wants to partake in this battle, then so be it. They will be stationed at the asylum, where you will infiltrate the building along with the others." Her eyes met many as she scoured the sea of feline bodies, "Good luck to you all. I will see you all in a week's time." With that, Florence turned to the screaming wind, and bolted away from the rooftops, jumping between them until her tan body could not be seen through the fog.
