Sign-up Thread for the Scavenger Subplot![/b]
Alright guys, so this is the place to sign up if you want to participate in the on-going subplot (which you can read about here), as one of the Scavengers. They're a small pack of canines of wide diversity, who share an intense hatred towards felines. Characters will vary in terms of species and persona, but they'll all be bloodthirsty and very determined to kill all felines.
Here's an outline of the rules:
* Signing up is free, and even if you end up playing an undomesticated canine you'll not be charged, nor will it count as your free undomesticated canine.
* You also need to specify if you want to play G's brother. Note if you're interested in doing this, he will play a larger part in the subplot, and as such you should only sign up for this role if you know you can keep him active. Bonus would be that you get to decide yourself whether you want to keep him or kill him, and you get to play an important character. Yay!
* You will not get to choose which type of character you'd like to play. Instead I and the wonderfully creative staff team will create a character for you. Thus it'll be a surprise what kind of doggie you'll get to play. View it as a challenge and an opportunity to write something outside of what you're used to! You won't have any influence over what your character is like, but we promise that all character descriptions will be somewhat open, and thus allow you to tweak it with small personal touches.
* All of these characters are disposable. The reason why you don't have to pay anything, is because 90% of these canines will probably end up dead by the end of the subplot. Once you've been given your character, you will have the opportunity to write to a staff member and announce whether you're interested in keeping your character or not after the subplot is over. If there're too many who wants to keep their characters, lots will be drawn and the "winners" will be chosen at random.
* The characters are limited to the threads created by a staff member, specifically intended for the subplot.
* Each character will moreover be given an individual mission, based upon the character's background. E.g. your character's mother was killed by a tiger when you were a cub, and thus your individual mission is to injure a tiger before the death of your character. If you complete your mission, you get 300 Tokens. IMPORTANT: You may not share your character's individual mission with anyone. This is to keep the game more fun for you guys, as we want you to hunt down your individual mission IG instead of planning it all OOC. If we find out that you shared your individual mission, you may not claim your Tokens even if you complete it.
* The sign-ups will close
* Once the subplot starts, you're obligated to keep your character active throughout the entire subplot.
* This is an opportunity to get creative with a new set of interesting characters, whom you can throw into fights without concern about whether they make it out alive or not. First and foremost: Have fun!
