Welcome, fellow plotters! You should all have received your new characters and therefore you can now start roleplaying! This will be our first thread. Celia will call a meeting in Rib Bay, inviting all Lexis members to attend and discuss a plan. Please post here with your Lexis member. Enjoy getting into character. It's probably best not to try and complete any of your missions in this thread as this is just the beginning.
There is no posting order, however it is recommended that Mika goes first with Celia. Try not to post too much without letting anyone else have a go. There may be no order, but don't get greedy (;
Enjoy and have fun!

The young lioness could laugh at how easy it was to simply walk in and take over the leaderless tribe. She wondered what the Lexis tribe thought of having yet another lion for their leader. Unfortunately for them, their new leader would be different from their past ones.
She slowly walked along the beach, looking out at the forever docked boats and the water. On her face was a smile that didn't suit her thoughts. Technically, all of Iris now had control over lexis, surely this could get Alex's attention now? Now all that's left was to think of what to do to them. None of the lexis could find out who she really was, she had to choose her words and actions carefully, otherwise they could get suspicious.
She had to speak with the tribe. Whatever they decided, Iris would know about it. Perhaps Tempest also but, she couldn't pass up the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, in a sense.
She choose an old rusty car as her perch and called to the tribe members. She sat on her haunches, wrapped her tail around her paws, and waited while she thought. She already knew what some of the members were like, so she may not have everyone's cooperation. 'They'll just miss out on the fun.' She quickly hid a sly smirk once she spotted the mute feline, Marnie, approaching.
He tail began to twitch with impatience. How long were they going to make her wait?
Not only did the idea of hanging around dogs disgust her, she also thought the pride was ungrateful at having a new leader. Sure, they won't last long anyway but, they should be more grateful that they wouldn't be left to rot. They should have come up with a new leader by now anyway.
She continued sitting on the roof of the old car, tail still twitching as thoughts of the future keeping her occupied until the other members arrived.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i46.tinypic.com/ivkfg0.jpg]The female canine limped along the bay, blood staining the sand below. She winced with every step she took, her rear left leg hovering above the ground in pain. She had been attacked by a few Lexis members who had wanted to steal her rabbit. She had hunted and caught that rabbit by herself, and yet again someone had taken it away from her. Her stomach growled ravenously, but she didn't have time to hunt another. She heard Celia's call and wanted to see this new leader for herself. She wondered whether she would be more caring than the past leaders. No leader had ever noticed Elora since she had betrayed the Tribe. Flattening her ears against her head, Elora vowed to do something about it. It had been many years since Elora had done that terrible thing, and she was sick of being treated like dirt. Who'd have thought that the Lexis Tribe would hold such a grudge? Besides, she had been doing them a favour! Streiter had turned into a terrible leader by the end. She could've stopped it all from happening.
Lost in her bitter thoughts, Elora saw the lioness awaiting the arrival of her Tribe atop of a car. Padding towards her, Elora looked around. A few members had already begun to gather, however most were keeping their distance. Celia may be their leader, but no one knew her. They were wary. Stopping a few metres away, Elora watched a few glares of disgust in her direction. Elora did her best not to cower away, and instead faced them with an indignant stare. She wanted to change the way Lexis thought of her, and joining in Tribe meetings seemed a logical first step. Perhaps one day she would even gain some friends again. Elora missed the days she could laugh and chat and be happy. She couldn't remember the last time she smiled. Shivering from the breeze brought in from the sea, she watched as a dog shoved past her, knocking Elora slightly. Feeling a little off balance, Elora ignored the snickers from behind her.
She wanted to hurt them. Truly, she did. It was constant bullying. It was constant orders. Elora has kept herself contained for years now, but her anger is slowly starting to bubble up. She just wanted to shout and cry at them. What have I ever done to you?! However, her mother always taught her to ignore bullies. They like it when you react. So Elora pressed her lips together and tensed her body. Her body trembled slightly from rage, but she just kept her eyes focused on their new leader. She was intrigued by Celia. What had made her join Lexis? Why did she want to become leader? They had not had a Tribe meeting in years, and Elora hoped that Celia had some ideas up her sleeve. The Tribe had been failing, no one could ignore that. Since Streiter, Rabba and Course, the Lexis numbers have dwindled. The Tribe is seen as a joke by the other Packs and Elora doesn't even know why she bothers staying around. It's not like anyone around here cares about the war anymore.

Of course she was one of the first to arrive when Celia called out to gather the tribe. Her tribe. She couldn’t believe the Lexis members had chosen an unknown stranger instead of her, Crystal, as their leader. She’d been born into the peaceful tribe, everyone knew her and where her loyalty was while Celia was a whole different matter. At least in her eyes. Besides, Celia wasn’t that much older than her, so she didn’t understand why others had made fun of her when she’d said she wanted to be leader instead of Celia. After all, Course had been young too… but he’d also had the benefit of being an heir, the son of Streiter… as if that’d been something to brag about…
It wasn’t a secret that she was awfully jealous at Celia’s position. She didn’t like being ruled by a stranger and wondered why the tribe had taken her in so easily. But if she someday wanted to be leader, she had to show the others that she was faithful to the tribe – which was why she’d come so quickly. She saw Celia sitting on the roof of a car while only few other members had arrived before her. She saw the mute cat Marnie and the traitorous dog Elora. Crystal only knew Marnie by name. Besides, not many seemed to know anything about her. As for Elora, Crystal had been taught from kittenhood that the dog had done something horrible and therefore was marked a traitor. The young snow leopard could see that she was injured – as she often was because of the bullies – and wondered why the brown female even cared to stay in the tribe. Would Celia try to stop the all too obvious bullying? Or did she even care? Crystal didn’t know what she thought about Elora. She’d just always stayed away from her, not really wanting to learn her better to know. She wasn’t one of the bullies thought. The most she’d done was hissing at the dog to make sure she didn’t get too close.
She sat down as she was only a few meters from the car which the lioness sat upon. What was all this fuss about anyway? Was she going to hold a speech of victory or something? Crystal couldn’t take it. She therefore looked away from the lioness and tried to find something more interesting to look at. Why weren’t there any proper big felines in this pride? Male of course. She was a flirt after all. She loved attention, being the center of everything. But she knew right now wasn’t the time to make a scene. Oh well, at least not unless Celia started being dump of course. She wouldn’t let the lioness boss around with everyone just because she know was the leader.

The bay had always been a nice, quiet spot for the old dog to rest. The cool breeze was comforting, especially when those awful headaches came to be more than he could bear. Sprawled out in the shade, his head resting on his paws, Trojan listened to the waves gently lapping at the shore, his expression for once peaceful. His eyes were closed, and his body at ease; if anyone were to pass by, they might think he was sleeping. But as the call went out for the Lexis members to assemble, the old dog's dark amber eyes shot open. Growling and grumbling, the pain he had kept to a dull drum against his skull before spiked to an almost crippling level as he stood up. He paused a moment, adjusting to the familiar agony. Taking a deep breath, the old mastiff made his way to where that worthless lioness and her rag tag rabble of a pack were gathering. Sometimes, he wondered why he even bothered anymore. Things had been getting progressively worse, and ever since the first lion took the lead, Lexis had reached new lows each time a new head came to power. Quiet and angry as ever, Trojan trudged into the small clearing, flippantly ignoring Celia all together as he sat down towards the back.
Looking around, his old back arched as he slouched, Trojan took a tally of all the faces he had grown to resent. Aside from the glorified hairball sitting on the top of a rusted out car, there was that oddly silent cat Marnie, Elora, and Crystal, among a small wash of otherwise unimportant faces. Taking a closer look at Elora, it looked as if she had had a run in with some of the more aggressive members. Flashing her a distasteful look, inwardly he almost pitied her. She had a chance to run away, to disappear and become nothing but a rumor, a whisper of a traitor. She had no real ties holding her here, and yet she chose to return. Trojan had invested too much to leave the pack he had grown old with; it pained him to see it like this. But the slender female had chosen to turn her back on Lexis, only to come back and expect anything less than what she deserved? The mastiff snorted at the thought. She was pathetic, to say the least. But not more than the young snow leopard.
It was a toss up between Crystal and Celia of who Trojan disliked more. Crystal was deathly jealous of the lioness, that much was apparent. She wanted to be the shining star, the one who ran the show, but anyone who talked to her for more than five minutes knew better than to give in to her 'wishful' thinking. Yawning, Trojan gave her a dirty look as well. She was not fit to be a leader of a group of cubs, let alone a whole tribe. If anyone should have been a leader, it should have been Trojan. But his time had come and long since gone, the opportunities of yesterday having since vanished. The old dog wanted to do something for the tribe, but knew that he was too weak, too near to the end. His head pounded as he waited for things to get moving, for this new tyrant to spout her nonsense and then let the members of her 'tribe' wander off once more.

Mella, her eyes closed, was laying down in the newly grown grass, letting the sun touch her pitch coat and the wind blow through her fur. Lost in her daydreams, she was concentrating hard on the light brush of the wind against her body, the delicious way it parted her coat and ran along her skin, making her shiver in delight. She imagined that it was the touch of another being, the warm body of another brushing against her, without them backing away in disgust, without their tearing scorn, without the sound of their mocking sniggers. That would be pure bliss. Was a simple touch too much to ask? Was she so repulsive? Tears of fury and despair came to her eyes, but she blinked them away, a wave of stern determination overcoming her. No. She wouldn't cry. She wouldn't show them how much they hurt her. The famously kind Lexis, a place of tolerance between all. She snorted in bitter irony, contemplating the cruel and contemptuous attitude others had towards her. She vigorously scratched a flea in her neck.
Her bitter thoughts were interrupted by a call, a call to assemble. It was Celia, the Tribe's new leader. She didn't know what she felt for the new leader yet. Honestly, she didn't know if she cared. No leader had ever taken any interest in her, had ever shown her any compassion. No one ever had. Life was unfair. What had she ever done to deserve any of this? The female sighed, her mouth curling into a hard and bitter line as she pushed herself to her feet. She paused, feeling the grass brush against her legs and appreciating a few seconds of contact. But it didn't last. An immense wave of disappointment overcame her and she started trudging dejectedly towards the source of the call.
When she arrived, many were already there. The lioness, Celia, was standing on the roof of a rusty car, looking upon the gathering below. Mella approached slowly, her gaze turning cold and bitter when cats and dogs scattered before her, scuttling away in disgust. A wave of fury washed over her, making her whole body tremble. Oh how she wished to hurt them. She wanted to really hurt them, make them understand her pain. Make them understand. But she needed to control herself. For no other reason than that if she hurt even one, the others would seriously harm her. She swallowed her anger and clenched her jaws together, forcing herself to continue towards Celia. Finding a suitable place to sit, she folded her legs under her. The nearest being was another female by the name of Elora, another which attracted disgust within the tribe. She had committed treason by leading Streiter into an ambush, for her puppies lives. Somehow, everyone always seemed to leave that part out. Mella didn't approve of the treatment the others gave her. Just like herself, they treated her like dirt. But she had done it to save her puppies. And that, to Mella, excused at least part of the crime.
Turning her head away, she waited for the meeting to commence, ignoring the looks of scorn shot her way by just about everyone.

After the bitter chills of winter and then the rain, there hadn't been much opportunity to be able to comfortably relax. Now that the weather had improved, Claudius was content to while away the time basking in the sunlight--after all, Lexis's plans were as nonexistent as always, leaving plenty of free time. And so, that was precisely what he was doing when the summons rang out. Amber eyes blinked open at the unexpected disturbance. It took a moment before he recognized the source. Celia. His contentment evaporated in an instant.
How that lioness had managed to just waltz in and ascend to leadership was anyone's guess. Why the others decided to let her was equally unfathomable. All he knew for sure was that she'd done it without a shred of his support and in despite of Claudius's most vehement protests. She was an absolute stranger, for one thing. For another, she was a cat--a lion, and a female lion, no less.
But no, once again his pack-mates had brushed aside his wisdom. He scowled at the memory.
One had only look at the Iris Pride for an example of how utterly stupid it would be to put that Celia in charge. Doubtless if Florence hadn't been so deluded as to think she belonged on the forefront of her pride and just stayed with her children, those cubs of hers would never have been kidnapped and gotten herself killed. Not that Claudius was complaining about that maniac's death.
Now this, this was infinitely more distressing. Apparently it was now Lexis's turn to suffer the leadership of a girl. Clearly the incompetence of their last two leonine leaders wasn't enough of a lesson. Both of them were already the male of the species; the incompetency could only increase. He shuddered to think of the tribe's future. The canine still hadn't budged from his spot on the beach. He was tempted to ignore Celia's roar. Wouldn't that put her in her place, if no one bothered to listen to her? Unfortunately he could see people already gathering. He heaved a sigh, reluctantly getting to his feet. If she was going to spout drivel, he might as well go hear the drivel first hand rather than an even more garbled version later.
By the time Claudius got there, a handful of members had already arrived. Most of them he ignored as he passed, settling down a little ways to the side just close enough so he could hear the "leader". He eyed her contemptuously, frowning at the way she was lording over them all from her rusted heap of a podium. "Well this oughta be good," he muttered to himself, and to anyone willing to listen.

A shudder of excitement ran through the curve of Lulu's spine and slide down to her tail, making it wag sporadically as she trotted through the Rib Bay's monotonous undergrowth. The mere mention of the new leader of the Lexis Tribe had the dog shining her eyes and sharpening her tongue with all the good things she's heard and imagined. Lu was certain that only good could come from the re-claiming of the Leader role. After all, a leader brings structure to a group, and justice to to those who deserve it; they bring with them organization, answers... and excitement!
It felt... fresh to have a female leader. While the fact was that the new leader was indeed another lion, it was also apparent that it was a lioness, which was a type Lu had heard so much about and witnessed the fierceness and responsibility of.
The mutt rounded trees playfully and pretended to herd the leaves at her feet. She knew she ought to get over to the clearing with the others, but she couldn't help expressing her elation in some game. Alas, the anticipation that made her drooped ears swing to-and-fro became unbearable, and the added extension to her trek was compensated for by happy leaps and bounds that got her quick enough to her destination.
As Lulu made her way out of the forestry and into sight, she couldn't suppress the stupid grin that grew wide over her face. Eagerly, she looked around to see whom she could share her excitement and ideas with, and distractedly noticed the scent of canine blood. It became stronger as she idly walked about the back of the ceremony, and she eventually found herself slowing and becoming more hesitant, despite her shame for such a reaction.
Nearly 10 feet away was the hunched, twitching figure of that flea-infected dog Lu was barely familiar with. From what she had seen, the poor creature seemed desperate for company, and Lu's heart ached for her until the dog began a series of awkward scratching and anxious nibbling, and in a painful honesty, Lulu felt herself repelled.
Ahead rested the almost crumpled figure of Elora, a dog whom everyone had come to know and despise - quick to share terrible and often misconstrued opinions on the handling of Elora's punishing. Though Lulu had never really contributed to such discussions, besides the occasional shifty glance away and halfhearted agreements (she had wanted to fit in...) she still felt guilty for the words spoken by even the other members.
Lu couldn't relate in the slightest to Elora. Everyone had always been so kind to her. And Lulu hadn't had any honest issues in her life other than the initial, sinking feeling of rejection when her mother had told her it was best to part ways; but even that had passed quickly when the Lexis took her under their wing.
"Everyone deserves a chance!" - They had said that when she first explained her situation. The kind, bolder members had taken to her immediately, guiding her through the land and social systems, teaching her the essentials of pack-life, and Lu had known then, that she could never live on her own; not after experiencing the kindness of the Lexis.
Lu thought of that phrase now, and with a pang of sympathy, looked away from the battered dog. That chance may come to the dog yet, but Lu doubted she'd be the one to grant it.
A familiar face greeted her with a purr and a nuzzle at her legs, and the mutt thought it best to head closer to the cars from where she was, at the back where most of the kind-faring, calmer canines and felines hung about. She welcomed her fellow tribe member with an affectionate growl and touch, trying her best not to look at the flea-dog or Elora, lest she be tempted to give in to her need to nurture and comfort. As the cat passed, Lu moved on and found a place near the sidelines. She sat with her bushy tail collecting dust with how it flitted side to side, and her ears perked up to catch onto a low mumble, "Well this ought to be good."
Lulu turned to the voice with almost irritatingly-wide grin and animated eyes, completely oblivious to the sarcasm in the speaker's tone, "Oh, I agree!"
As more and more Tribe members entered the scene and found their place, Lulu's joy returned after the dulling it undertook with her musing on the rejects, and did so tenfold.

Alice Spring was coming to an end and summer was just around the corner. It was getting warmer and warmer and there was more prey. Alice stretched. Her yellow eyes were scanning the area. She was bored and she was looking for something...anything...that would spark her interests. She knew she had a tribe meeting to attend, but she didn't know, if it's worth to attend it. That new lioness, that Celia...well Alice would prefer choosing somebody known to the Lexis Tribe. She also wanted to investigate a little about Violet's past. This cat had something unnatural to her, but it looked like Alice was the only one to notice that. Maybe it's just my imagination she thought to herself. Anyway, she decided to actually attend the Tribe meeting. She was interested in what new leader has to say. She slowly made her way to the beach, yawning. She loved walking on the beach, the feel of a warm sand between her paws. She finally arrived to the place, where the meeting was placed and she noticed that she wasn't first. She slowly examined the group of canines and felines, looking for familiar faces. Alice noticed Elora. The only thing she felt for a golden coloured canine was pity. She made a mistake a long time ago and it looked like Lexis Tribe isn't going to forgive her anytime soon. The next member she saw was Crystal. Alice hissed quietly. If this snow leopard female tried to hide her jealousy, it wasn't working. Alice knew Crystal very well and she knew how much she wanted to become Lexis' leader. And also, jealousy was in Crystal's nature. In Alice's point of view Crystal was a bit, well, shallow. Trojan was there too. A large dog was sitting alone, looking angry. He's changing. Alice thought. Sure, his grumpiness could be a result of his old age, but there were other things, too. Alice was secretly cared for an old dog, though it may just be a feel of responsibility. He was her pack-mate, after all. Then she noticed Mella. Alice felt bad for her. She was so lonely, and the blue feline didn't like the way other pack members treated her. The last two canines she knew were Lulu and Claudius. She saw Claudius muttering something, but she was too far away and she couldn't hear his words. Not that she cared. She despised the male dog. He was sexist, he thought that females should bend to males and she also thought felines were less than canines. Well, Alice was both, feline and female, so she didn't agree with his 'philosophy' and ideas. She had to look away from him. Even his looks annoy me. she thought angrily Looks like he's just one big furball made from annoyance. That thought made her happier.God knows why. And the last one was Lulu. Alice liked Lulu. Her heart was made of gold and she was hard to hate. The russian blue mix looked up. Celia, their new so called leader was sitting on a big rusty car. Well, now our leader is a female and a feline. I hope Claudius is enjoying this. she thought happily. Honestly, Alice didn't like Celia either. She didn't trust her just yet. Well, it looked like lioness was just about to say something. This is going to be interesting...OOC:I don't like this post. It's about Alice's views on other pack-members. Oh well... Also, it looks like she is going to be a pain in the ass for Claudius. She doesn't like him xD

Other than Marnie, one of the first to arrive was the disgrace to felines everywhere. It was obvious that the snow leopard was jealous, and she was too full of herself to realize why. The lexis tribe is already pathetic enough without a narcissist for a leader.
More canines seemed to show up quicker and, though she didn't show it, it irritated the lioness even more. One of the notable canines was Elora, apparently a stupid mistake in the past caused the dog to become a victim of the tribe's abuse. Another victim was another female named Mella. Celia could understand why no one would willingly go near that particular female. Who would want to risk getting that mongrel's fleas?
Another female dog, Lulu suddenly appeared. Celia didn't think a canine could be dumber than they already were, until she discovered Lu after joining the tribe. She could be easily manipulated but, probably not as fun as some of the others.
She resisted a growl once two dogs that dared to look down on the young lioness finally appeared. One was a useless old fart named Trojan. All he ever saw that dog do was lay around and complain about everything.
Yet another dog was named Claudius. Luckily no one listened to that sexist cur. She remembered him protesting making the young female feline their leader. If he pissed her off even once today, it's possible he might mysteriously disappear soon.
This was the lexis tribe, the only pack that claimed that canines and felines could live and work together. 'Absolute BS.' Celia thought to herself as she surveyed the members that had already arrived. They had already proven exactly what they claimed to want to prove: canines and felines can never work together. If they could, lexis would have already done something by now. Though they deserved what they got, this tribe couldn't treat Elora and Mella, two of their own members, with kindness. 'No wounder Course left them.'
Celia couldn't wait to be back with the Iris pride, with civilized felines that she could talk to. She wanted to end this as quickly as possible.
"Thank you all for joining me." She spoke loud enough for everyone to hear her. Her tone of voice was either calm or indistinguishable.
'Just get to the point, end this as quickly as possible.' She thought to herself as she spoke again with that same tone.
"I plan to end this tribe's history of doing absolutely nothing to end this ongoing war." Her brown eyes scanned the crowd, waiting for their reactions.
"If I remember correctly, a truce between Iris and Tempest was offered but refused. Brooke is the reason the war hasn't ended yet, she must be eliminated, along with her pack." She continued to watch every individual cat and dog in the crowd, waiting to see their reactions.
"If you don't agree with attacking Tempest, then just leave. I can and will find others who are much more competent at doing such a task." She just wanted this meeting to end as quickly as possible. 'Just a simple yes or no. Then you can all go lick your balls for the rest of the day.'

Marching, "Meowing," Musing.
Macbeth lay atop an old, rusted boat, gently bobbing on the shallow waves. He watched a few of the Tribe members going about their day from his perch, eagerly contemplating the effects their new leader might have on the prospects of the Lexis Tribe. From what he had heard about Celia, Mac already had great faith and high hopes in her leadership. Perhaps she would finally bring some action into the Tribe's lives. He yearned to engage in battle after remaining dormant for so long. If the Lexis actually took on the Tempest or Iris, perhaps they wouldn't be viewed as such a joke in their eyes.
Macbeth was pulled from his thoughts upon the beckoning of Celia. He swivelled his head towards where the elegant lioness had seated herself on top of a car, and watched as the tribe gravitated towards her position. Curious, Mac rose and leaped off the boat onto the soft sand, padding purposefully towards the gathering. He observed the diverse group of both felines and canines as he approached, taking notice of who sat near or avoided who. He actively interacted with most everyone in the tribe, and made a habit of keeping himself updated on the lives of others.
Crystal appeared to be curiously interested in the upcoming announcement, which puzzled Macbeth after her distaste towards attention being given to anyone other than herself. Elora, as per usual, was battered and bleeding, almost definitely due to the regular abuse she recieved from other Lexis members. Trojan pouted around the back, visibly displeased about the entire ordeal. Other familiar faces gathered about, some looking more optimistic than others.
By the time Macneth arrived, a sizable crowd had gathered. Nodding politely to those he passed, he seated himself close to the front, in closest proximity with Alice. She was a russian blue that he truthfully didn't know an awful lot about, though he admired the intelligence he knew to be associated with her. Mac had seemingly arrived just in time for Celia to begin speaking, his tail flicking in anticipation.
"Thank you all for joining me. I plan to end this tribe's history of doing absolutely nothing to end this ongoing war." Celia spoke boldly and confidently. Mac could hear the different reactions around him, some pleased, others quite disgruntled, but he paid no mind. The attentive feline was far too interested in the new leader's propositions.
"If I remember correctly, a truce between Iris and Tempest was offered but refused. Brooke is the reason the war hasn't ended yet, she must be eliminated, along with her pack. If you don't agree with attacking Tempest, then just leave. I can and will find others who are much more competent at doing such a task."
Macbeth instantly straightened up, very pleased with Celia's thinking. A leader like her was exactly what the Lexis needed - someone to lead them into the battlefield. He was sick of every other leader's talk of peace with no initiative to actually strive for it. The only way the Lexis were going to have any impact on the status of the war is they were to actually fight for what they wanted, and Celia seemed to be the exact feline to bring them to do it. Mac knew many members would disagree with her thinking, but it wouldn't take much to convince them that her strategy was an intelligent way to take action. After all, attacking the Tempest was a good idea, and Mac didn't see any other way to go about ending the war than to fight in it.

"Speech."
More and more members of the tribe came to answer Celia’s call and when pretty much all were gathered, Celia finally started her speech. "I plan to end this tribe's history of doing absolutely nothing to end this ongoing war."
|
Crystal snorted by this. The Lexis members had come here to avoid the war in Hexasol. To live a peaceful life. Did Celia suddenly want them to take part of it? None of them were really warriors of any kind, so she was quite curious as to what their lion leader was planning inside her petty little head. For now she just flickered softly with her plushy tail. She would want to hear more before she spoke her mind, and it didn’t take long for the young lioness to get right to the core. "If I remember correctly, a truce between Iris and Tempest was offered but refused. Brooke is the reason the war hasn't ended yet, she must be eliminated, along with her pack." Crystal perked up her ears by this. Eliminate? What a harsh word. She was really brutal that Celia, huh? Babarian, she thought. Looking at the rest of the tribe-members, but not really seeing any reactions, the young snow leopard returned her focus to Celia once again when she continued. "If you don't agree with attacking Tempest, then just leave. I can and will find others who are much more competent at doing such a task."Competent, huh? Then why was she speaking here and not in the midst of the Iris Pride? They would be more than willing to brutally eliminate the Tempest Pack. And besides this, why was she so willing to get rid of the tribe members she’d just been the leader of? It seemed cold. She was going to protect them, not throw them into war. Crystal could see reason in disliking the Tempest Pack for not taking the offer of peace from the Iris Pride, but killing Brooke seemed a little too much. Could they even get that far before being torn into pieces? She surely had her doubts about this mission, but there was no way she was just going to abandon her fellow tribe members. She didn’t want to leave any of them – not even the grumpy ones. This was the tribe she’d been born into, she wouldn’t just leave them like that. When no one else spoke up, Crystal thought she might just as well do it. She wanted to know more about this plan Celia had in mind. She therefore stepped forward, her soft tail flickering behind her. ”With all respect your majesty,” she said with a slightly spiteful tone hidden under her purr. “But if it’s warriors you seek, how can it be you have chosen us, the Lexis tribe?” she asked, holding a short pause before continuing. ”I mean no insult to any member here, but we’re a peaceful tribe, and I think it’s the fewest of us who have received any training in battle. How do you want us to… eliminate the Tempest Pack who has trained soldiers among them?” She’d tilted her head a little to the side in wonder, not understanding their new leader’s bloodlust and drive to throw her new subjects into war. Were they nothing but tools in her awful mind? [/blockquote]

Most kept their distance, with only a few considering to glance at her. She ignored their gazes, vaguely noticing that the flea-ridden dog, Mella, had situated herself fairly near her. The canine paid no heed to the others around her. She had long since got over the fact that no one had any wish to speak with her. Letting out a small, hopeless sigh, she finally lifted her head to look around. It had been a long time since she'd seen the Tribe altogether. Many had all but given up in creating a close-knitted Tribe, and started straying to other areas of the city. Elora knew she should've done that a long time. She was no longer welcome in the Tribe. She felt she deserved everything she got, however. Elora vaguely wondered whether Celia would ever trust her. She would never betray a pack member again.
By the time nearly all the Tribe had gathered, everyone's attention turned to their new leader. Cocking her head, Elora listened to Celia's harsh words. Elora wasn't exactly surprised that a leader was now making the Tribe choose to finally fight for what they believe in. A surge of excitement rushed through Elora. Lexis had been long since described as the Tribe with nothing to offer. Granted, many stood for peace, but where had that got them? Six years on, and, if anything, the war was getting more bloodthirsty than ever. Pricking her ears, Elora sat tall and rigid as Celia's eyes scanned the crowd. She was not a weak, worthless, member. She would fight. Perhaps, if they eliminated Tempest, the Iris could get scared away? Elora quickly scanned everyone else's reactions. She was worried she'd be ridiculed if she spoke up. She quickly listened to what Crystal said. Swallowing thickly, she took a deep breath.
"I-" Elora cut herself off, suddenly feeling embarrassed and at the centre of attention, "Where exactly has peace got us, Crystal? Everyone outside of the Tribe think we're a joke. Perhaps people will start taking us seriously if we attack the Tempest." She paused, chewing on her words, before continuing, "Granted, we haven't had training, but we're still animals. It's our instinct to fight. You don't exactly need much training for that." Elora silenced, not liking some of the glares coming her way. How dare she speak up before everyone else? Flattening her ears, Elora looked away. The pain in her paw suddenly became her main focus again, and she leaned down to begin cleaning the wound. Her fur prickled as she could feel the many pairs of eyes on her. She hoped someone else would speak up to stop people from looking.

Alice Speech|Thoughts The young feline woke up from her thoughts, when Celia began her speech. Alice listened carefully to every word their leader had to say.
Alice looked up at the word 'eliminate'. And how exactly are you, I mean we, going to do this? Alice thought bleakly. Lexis Tribe doesn't have enough skilled fighters... she got lost in her thoughts again. She remembered the time she spent with Iris Pride. She learned quite a lot of tricks and cheats that could help you in a fight, but most of Lexis' members were canines and felines looking for peace...not fight. Maybe with a good strategy... She quickly snapped out from her thoughts when Crystal spoke and expressed the same doubts Alice had. "I mean no insult to any member here, but we're a peaceful tribe, and I think it's the fewest of us who have received any training in battle. How do you want us to 'eliminate' the Tempest Pack who has trained soldiers among them?" Exactly! Alice approved of Crystal's words. But then Elora spoke up. "Where exactly has peace got us, Crystal? Everyone outside of the Tribe think we're a joke. Perhaps people will start taking us seriously if we attack the Tempest. Granted, we haven't had training, but we're still animals. It's our instinct to fight. You don't exactly need much training for that." She has a point, but..."I agree and disagree!" Alice heard herself speaking out loud. Ooops. She didn't want to share he thoughts with other canines and felines. But everybody's (well, almost everybody) faces were turned to her, waiting for what she had to say. "Um...so yes, I agree and disagree with both Crystal and Elora." Alice nervously looked around her pack-mates' faces, trying to see their reactions. I agree with Crystal that many canines and felines of Lexis Tribe doesn't have required skills for a fight. Look, this tribe was formed by felines and canines whom wanted peace, not war. To many of us Lexis Tribe is a safe sanctuary from war. Some of us are old, some sick. There are felines and canines with fighting skills, like me for example, but there isn't many of us. " She had more confidence with each word she spoke. "But if we do nothing, like Elora said, well...we will never be taken seriously. So I agree with Elora on this point. I just need to correct her on her last statement. Yes, we are animals and we have instincts. But those instincts won't help us against a pack full of skilled soldiers. We need training and most importantly, we need strategy. A well thought strategy." Alice was now in her element. She was intelligent cat that was good at planning and making strategies. If just Celia would let her do something...But no! She abandoned that thought completely. If the strategy was to be made, it'll probably get made by Celia herself. But Alice continued her speech. "I think that we should train the weak. Also, we need a few intelligent and skilled canines or felines," Like me "that would make up a good tactic to defeat the Tempest. Except our leader has different views on the whole thing?" Alice looked up at Celia after the last statement. All she needed now was her approval. OOC:601 words. Good.
