(THE SMALLER FEATURES);
Character name: Joker Age: 2 years old Gender: Male Animal: Feline Breed/s: Bengal Cat Pack: Iris
(I THINK I NEED A THERAPIST);
Personality: Joker has a mixed personality, which stretches across to be a little bit of all the poles. Towards strangers, and just about 3/4th's of the planet, he's nothing but a cold-hearted cat--a feline version of the tin man. He's devious and uncaring, almost as if someone simply turned off the 'emotion' switch in his heart. He wasn't always like this, though. Therefore, he possesses another side to him that only makes its presence known when it comes to dear friends; or when he's intoxicated, or under some kind of influence. The other side to his otherwise pessimistic personality is, surprisingly, a very joyful one. Like a feline to catnip. Such a side was only available to his direct family—his mother, his brother. All of which are now deceased. Therefore, this side of his personality seems to have disappeared altogether, only looming in every now and then to give him a seemingly ‘troubled’ first impression. However, perhaps all this will be fixed one day, when he finds his way into a pack that he can grow fond of. But for now, he roams the street as just another alley cat—braving the world with a heart made of steel. Three strengths: - Not easily phased. Threats seem to go in one ear and out the other to him. - Devious. His mind breaks situations down into several plans so that he can get away with whatever he's doing. - Comical. He's fun to be around, once you get to know him. Three weaknesses: - Untrusting. It takes a while for him to truly trust anyone. - Tends to be a loner. He likes the thought of a pack and friends, but inner instincts drive him towards the solo mentality. - Bipolar. At times he may be the nicest and funniest guy you know, and other times he's got a nasty attitude that's a force to be reckoned with.
(LOOKIN' AT MY REFLECTION);
Height: 11" Weight: 8.5 lbs Appearance: Joker is a Bengal cat with two copies of the ‘Snow’ gene. Therefore, his coat resembles that of a miniature snow leopard. His fur ranges in color from white to different shades of grey, sometimes even holding a light brown hue. He has markings that look like those of wild jungle cats, but shown on the nimble, smaller body of a domestic cat. His tail resembles the pattern of a normal grey tabby, since the leopard-like markings fade off into the normal stripes, and ends in a dark-grey tipped tail. He’s not heavy, bulky, nor ferocious, unlike some of his larger cousins. However, he makes up for it via his personality. His eyes are also as deceiving as his coat colors. They’re a light shade of aquamarine, due to some more of his recessive traits. They can look either green or blue depending on the light they’re shown in, and sometimes just land dead in the middle, leaving you guessing.
(REMINISCING LIKE HELL);
History: Joker’s past life is something that he tends to avoid describing. He was first born in a litter of three; including him, a brother, and a sister. They were born as domestic pets; however, they staged an ‘escape’ one evening when they wanted to venture out and see what the world was like. Little did they know that they’d lose their way in the large city, and never find their way back. Luckily, the family went together as one. They ventured their way down a few alleys, and soon, the unknown scents began to almost hypnotize them into forgetting where they’d come from. There was no going back to the pet life—they were here to stay, unless by some miracle, the humans found them and took them back. But that never happened, once the human virus killed off most of them, there was a certain end to any hopes of returning to the charmed life. They quickly had to adapt or give into the harsh city environment. They survived the first few months just fine. However, both his mother and brother met their end at the hands of a pack of feral dogs. Joker had always been a fan of high altitudes, and therefore tended to remain on top of fences and murals, therefore out of harm’s way; and his sister was equally attentive to heights, therefore she usually remained by fire escapes. However, his mother and brother were slightly different. They liked being down to earth, and looking up at the vast world that stood around them. That would lead to their demise one afternoon. After the incident, Joker was never quite the same. Some might have said that the inner light within him dulled, and others say it went out altogether. Long story short, ever since then, he’s wandered the city aimlessly—just doing what it takes to get by, help out fellow felines, and nothing more. He lost contact with his sister soon after as well, because she grew disgusted with how he could change so drastically, so fast. Therefore, they simply lost communication with each other. So now he braves the streets alone; not a friend on his side, but far too many foes to count. Major turning points in life: * When him & his family ventured out and got lost in Hexasol. * When his mother and brother were killed by a pack of feral dogs.
