Sunlight filtered through the boughs and leaves overhead, creating patterns of shadows across the forest floor. A pleasant breeze blew through the dense underbrush and effectively subdued the suffocating heat to a point of being bearable. There was little activity midafternoon due to everyone escaping the heat of the day but it did not bother Camille. Her slight body and light coat was well equipped for much higher temperatures and at the moment the cool water of the lake was all that was on her mind. Her dainty toed paws brought her to where the shoreline and the forest met, her striking light brown eyes quickly assessing the area to look for others. Guess nobody will have the pleasure of watching me take a dip. She smirked to herself. Walking with the confidence of someone who could care less if she had a dozen spectators, she calmly approached the waves that were gently lapping the shore. Elegantly reaching down her long slender neck, she quietly enjoyed the taste of the refreshing water.
After a few moments she lifted her head to gaze out across the lake, delighting in the warmth of the sun bathing across her willowy form. Eventually she tired of this and stepped away from the small harmless waves, irritated at her getting her front paws only wet only slightly. With no other plan or motivation for the day, she wandered aimlessly back into the tree line to attempt to find something that even remotely interested her. A well worn trail served as her only guide since she was new to the area but this did not bother her. When you constantly wander place to place and never truly become familiar or at home then your location becomes but an unimportant detail. She knew who she was inside and out, her glowing confidence emanated that, and that was all that she truly cared about.
Her incredibly long and elegant legs carried her with natural grace through the swerving foot trail, expressions of distaste crossing her face as she tried to avoid snagging the overgrown underbrush on her wispy snow white coat. She was just about to swerve to the left when she became immediately aware of someones presence to her right. Stopping with her long sight-hound head high above her shoulder blades in an interrogative posture, she softly spoke out in a voice so pleasant and enticing one would stop just to merely listen. "Hello there?" ooc/ This thread is open to anyone! Canine and feline alike.

ThoughtsActions *** Blurred images were all he could see. Where in the world... am I this time? He thought, blinking rapidly to adjust to the sudden light that the day brought. Had he blacked out again? Banner could only hope that he hadn't hurt anyone if that was the case. Squeezing his eyes shut for a few moments, he tried to recall anything from before, but found his mind in a world of haze and mystery. "Great." he murmured sarcastically. Dizzy, he began to stumble forward, still not completely aware of his surroundings. His eyes were creating some kind of illusion of swirling colors and undefined shapes. In retrospect, Banner probably shouldn't have started to try and move yet, but he feared what he might see if he stood in one spot and waited to come to his full senses. The last time he'd done that he woke up in a pool of blood and guts.... And as lovely an experience that was for him he'd... rather not have a repeat of that instance. After all, waking up this way could only mean he had lost control yet again. He'd gone so long without an instance like this either that it sickened him to think that he might be relapsing. Keep it together, Banner. You're okay Just stay calm... Shaking his head as he continued on his way, Banner found his fur getting snagged in the undergrowth. With a grunt, he shook and pulled his way through, but the result was a rustling so loud that anyone could hear him. Not that Banner really cared - there weren't many creatures around that could take on a massive beast like him. Being a Tibetan Mastiff, he was going on about three-hundred pounds. Even a lion would have trouble with him if they tried to take him down. A sweet, almost velvety voice did ring out though. "Shit." he whispered. It was a female by the sounds of it. Well. Maybe he could just ignore her and pass on by. With another shake of his head, the colors and shapes around him finally became defined, and he could at last register where he was. Not far ahead was a cream-white Saluki. Banner assumed that she was the one that called to him just a moment prior. He quietly dipped his head to her, but stood exactly where he was. She was a pretty looking dog, with an air of grace about her. That was how most Salukis were though, right? He offered an almost shy looking smile to Camille before looking down at his paws. At once, he wished he could erase his existence right then and there. Just looking down at his legs he could tell he was a bloody mess. So... he had lost control again. Dried blood was caked all over his normally silky fur, madding it together. He... clearly needed a good wash. "Excuse me." he murmured. "I don't know where I am. Can you point me... towards some water?" He didn't bother with an explanation for his appearance... not that he really had one. Banner didn't want to go back to where he'd come to and see what he'd shredded up in his blind fury. [/div]
