PERSONALITY |
Fell is often perceived as being a mysterious guy, as he is very guarded in his actions and words. He tends to only interact with others on a few certain levels, rarely connecting on a deeply personal level with anyone. Even with the very few that Fell does connect, he is always preoccupied with doubts about whether or not he can trust them, and keenly aware of any signs of disloyalty. He will often subconsciously make flaws in those he care for seem larger, picking up on every little thing that seems to make them that way, and trying to turn himself against them.
He is very much anti-dramatic, avoiding those that he considers to be petty and shallow, yet treating those that he meets with respect regardless of his actual opinion of them. Fell, although not a very friendly character that in fact dislikes company, strives to follow his own set of high moral standards. When he has good reason to, he may exhibit a high level of anger, as well. Although it's pretty difficult to get Fell to show any real rage, he can be snappish, cold, and hostile on a weekly basis, if you appear to be an enemy, or if you simply catch him on a very bad day.
Fell tends to seem laid back in general, trying to avoid conflict when he can, but he won't back down when threatened. He has a tendency to be rather reckless at times, and since he keeps his thoughts and thought process to himself, he may seem to leap into things impulsively without any warning. Fell is a guy that's very difficult to read, essentially. You may think you know what he's going to do next, and then he does the exact opposite. He can surprise you by changing his ways, or irritate you by remaining the same when he commits to changing. If you think you have any idea what he's thinking, you're probably dead wrong.
Yes, he's a nice enough guy, but when it comes to love, remember that Fell is still, and has always been, a bachelor at heart. One of his biggest faults is that he can never seem to make up his mind entirely, and this makes him unreliable to the extreme. It's not that he's a womanizer or any such thing, but he's been known in the past for short flings, and just because he makes you believe that this one's different, doesn't mean it necessarily is. He needs his space and he needs the ability to pick up and go elsewhere at any given time, so don't expect him to commit to anything romantic easily. If you're looking for a steady, responsible mate or father, then, unless you're quite persistent, you'd better keep moving; otherwise, you're asking for a broken heart.• likes | cold mornings, running, leaves

APPEARANCE |
As red foxes go, Fell is pretty large, and distinctly less 'red' than others. His base color is a black which is almost dusty in that it is a mix of brown and black. His hind quarters are nearly entirely silver, although this ends at the start of his tail. Said tail is quite bushy, and a lighter brown/chocolate color, with a fluffy white tip. His front and back legs are all the color of his base pelt, with a minor rusty hue about his paws, hardly noticeable. This color is also present about the lower edges of his ears, and around his black nose. His chin has a splotch of white on it, and there are jet black patches about his amber eyes, giving them a sunken in appearance. The silver hair that lines the outer edges of his face is a bit like an upside down heart in shape, arcing downward about his eyes and widening out, only to end, at the start of his chest. His unique, unusual coloring makes him a striking, memorable character in appearance.• height | 24 inches
• weight | 36 pounds
• fur colour | silver, brown, black, rust, white
• eye colour | amber
• scars | not visible
• noticeable features | unusual coloring, eyes made piercing by dark mask
• physical disorders | none known
HISTORY |
Fell was born in Southern Hexasol, and he grew up there, staying until he was ten months old. From that point in his life on, he never stayed anywhere for more than two months at a time, no matter what the circumstances. Fell's mother was a vixen called Celeste, who remained with he and his three siblings until he was almost three months old, when she was killed in a fight with another vixen. It was spring by then, and the hard season had passed with just Fell and his brother, Grimm, surviving. Their father, Roth, had taken over caring for them after Celeste's death, and he was as good a father as any, if a bit harsh. Grimm craved attention after the death of his mother, but Fell pulled away from his family, becoming more introverted and less interested in the other foxes. Grimm often tried to engage him in fights, as the two were quite different, but Fell regarded his brother as childish and attention-seeking, and pulled away from him, showing him such indifference as to make it impossible to tell they had been born in the same litter months before. Finally, at ten months old, he bid his family goodbye and set off without direction. Ever since then, he's been wandering, never taking a mate, or staying in any one place for too long.

Fell lay quietly, his silver-lined face upon his paws, in reverie. Of course he could tell even from his place among the thick foliage that another fox was coming near, but he did not stir. Fell knew the fox that entered his little clearing well; the male was about eight months old, with deep black coloring about his eyes; he was smaller than Fell, but bulkier. "How may I help you, Grimm?" asked he, in such a voice as to say he didn't really give a shit what his brother wanted from him. The other fox fixed him with a cold stare; Fell returned it, tiredly. He was rather put out by his brother being a constant nuisance. "Roth and Dren have brought back a-" He cut him off. "No thanks," Fell grunted, laying his head back down and looking away from his brother. For a moment, Grimm appeared to seethe; Fell could feel the waves of aggression coming off him, and he tensed his muscles for a fight. After a moment, though, the silver fox seemed to calm, and replied icily, "Very well then." When Fell next glanced over, Grimm had gone, leaving him alone with his thoughts. Such pleasant silence.
