PERSONALITY |
Most of this small feline consists of snark and comments filled to the brim with sarcasm. She has started many fights with these traits and often uses them to fuel an angry soul until they snap. She doesn't mean to do this, most of the time. She just speaks her mind and any comment her mind creates will slide through her teeth a moment later. She does go through times where she doesn't really think about what she's saying, and during these times her snark and sarcasm level increase drastically. To add to these levels, she is almost always wearing a very small on her lips, a smirk, even while talking about subjects that would never be classified as something to smile about.
Dove is a very calm and patient feline. While she often starts arguments with her snarky comments, she never really takes place in them, preferring to wait until the other member of the party settles down to resume speaking. Her calmness can be annoying to some, as it seems like she doesn't believe there is any danger. She is patient to the point that it seems like she's doing it just to get on someones nerves, and sometimes this is the case.
Because her parents often lied to her, even if was only about their relationship, Dove has a hard time trusting others. Giving her your word on something doesn't mean a thing and she has her doubts you will follow through with anything. She believes herself to be a very trustworthy feline, and most of the time she is, and she would much rather keep a promise for some else than trust someone with her own. It would probably be best to refrain from doing any trust-based activities with this feline until you have known her for quite a while. Though, over time, a close friend or two might be able to gain her trust.
Growing up, Dove's parents were the only example of love she had. and they really weren't the best couple. So, naturally, Dove thinks that falling in love is dangerous and she isn't all that willing to try it for herself. As much as she'd love to have kittens, she's afraid they too will go what she went through, so she doesn't plan on ever taking the risk. Though, as cliche as it seems, Dove is hoping that time will change her view on things and she will eventually find the right feline to spend the rest of her life with.
While a lot of words could be used to describe Dove, most of them are not what she's really like. Her so called "personality" was created to make those around her happy. In reality, Dove is an extremely fun feline and an amazing friend. She is very trustworthy and used to be very trusting of others. If it weren't for her parents, she would have always looked on the bright side and revolve everything in her life around accomplishing her goals and making herself happy. Now she tends to only think about what others think of her.• likes | being with others, long conversations, silence, watching others fume at her comments and additude

APPEARANCE |
Dove is of average size for a female sand cat, weighing at just four pounds and standing at nine inches. One might notice that her ears are set a little wider than most other felines, this is due to having a broad skull. Like all other sand cats, she has the ability to lay her ears flat out to the sides, or even point them downwards if needed. A light tan, or cream, takes up the majority of her short pelt. Her underside and paws are white, as are some of her facial features. Her body is covered with light brown stripes, most of which can hardly be seen. The most noticeable stripes are the ones on her front and back legs, two at the elbow of each front leg, a few on the sides of her hind legs.• height | 9"

HISTORY |
Dove, along with her brother, Roosevelt, lived in a small underground den quite a distance from Hexasol, out in the country. The two sibling lived with parents who constantly fought over just about everything. Dove grew up trying to get her parents to stop fight, changing herself in an attempt to make both of them happy with her. They both told her that they loved her and nothing was going to happen, and she really wanted to believe them, but couldn't. While Dove changed a little more everyday, her brother stayed on the sidelines, off in his own little world. Dove didn't worry about him though, he looked like he was coping with their family problems, just in his own way.
When the two of them were just over a year old, their parents decided to split. They didn't have to think much, if at all, about who got the kittens - they each took one. Their father took Roosevelt while their mother took Dove. To make her mother happy and to help herself forget about her brother and father, she continued to change herself. Pretty soon, she was hardly the same cat.
When her mother died, Dove found herself not willing to live on her own, so she set her mind on going somewhere where she would be welcomed. No, she didn't hate dogs, she had never met any, but Iris seemed like the best choice.
