(THE SMALLER FEATURES);
Character name: Beacon
Age: Four Years
Gender: Male
Animal: Canine
Breed/s: Husky/Shepherd X
Pack: Lexis Tribe
Is image of your character free to use?: Yup <3 CC
(I THINK I NEED A THERAPIST);
Personality: Considering his solitary history, Beacon is quite sociable now and extremely compassionate. He is friendly with everyone regardless of where their loyalty lies. It isn't hard for this mutt to make friends, even if he has to put on a show to gain it. Flattery is something he thinks he does well and flattery will win your right into anyones heart. He feels the pain and joy of others as well as if it was his own. Nothing pleases Beacon more than being in the company of others, species distinction is not something he sees clearly for he looks into the heart and soul rather than the physical features. His compassionate nature can be confused easily by others. Beacon can appear as if he is quite in love with someone when this is simply not the case. Being in love and loving someone are two completely different things. He tends to give others cutesy nick-names after knowing them only for a short period of time.
Beacon is extremely logical despite everything else. He will take his time on making important decisions, however infrequent they are. Anger and hate aren't what you will ever see him experience. Disappointment is rare, but very powerful in his mind.Three strengths:
Compassionate
Able to relate with others in the deepest sense.
Flattering
Able to make decent friendships from the most hateful "foe".
Logical
Able to make sound decisions.Three weaknesses:
Trusting
Although he isn't stupid, he believes the best in everyone when not everyone is capable of it.
Poor Fighting Skills
He has never fought and it is quite uncertain that he will do it correctly.
Develops "Deep" Relationships
There is a thin line between was he considers a good relationship and what would be considered as a mature relationship. This leaves his heart open for easy attack and also confuses others on his real intentions with another canine.
(LOOKIN' AT MY REFLECTION);
Height: 25 Inches
Weight: 80 lbs, give or take
Appearance: At first glance, this Husky mix would appear to be completely white but that is not the case. High, erect ears are shaded with black just along their rims. A large black nose rests on the end of his muzzle. His pelt is mostly white, although a light shade of brown can be seen around his face and along his back. His fur is thick and course to the touch along his back while the rest is quite soft. Hair is especially long on his slightly curved tail. He has the height of a German Shepherd with the distinguishing facial features of a Siberian Husky. Long legs enable Beacon to run quite fast. His oval shaped eyes are light blue and really quite stunning, as if you can see directly into this light hearted beasts soul.
(REMINISCING LIKE HELL);
History: Being a mutt didn't necessarily mean you were less wanted then the next purebred dog. Beacon was, however, quite unwanted. Along with the rest of the litter that was birthed by the prize winning Husky, Beacon soon found himself in the dark damp cages that were held within the Animal Shelters walls. He watched at one by one, his siblings found a new home with a seemingly happy family of bouncing children and curious adults. When the last, much more striking looking sister was gone, Beacon sat alone with the rest of the frightened animals waiting for the inevitable. His fur was brown, caked with days worth of urine and feces and he didn't expect that in these conditions that anyone would give the rank smelly dog a second look. However, on his final day, the door opened to the kennels and an old frail man slowly walked down the corridor. He took his time with each canine, inspecting everything about them. When he arrived at Beacons cage, the filthy mutt paid little heed to the man. While the rest of the puppies held with him bounced around with joy, longing for attention, Beacon lay near the rear of the kennel gnawing on an old rope toy. The Husky mix didn't know at the time that the old man was looking for a seemingly laid back dog to spend his final years with and Beacon won the grand prize.
His new home wasn't anything near glamorous, but it was far better than the conditions he was previously in. Frank, as Beacon soon came to know the old man as, was quite poor. An old farmer who couldn't afford the basic necessities of running water or power. He literally lived off the land and the few animals he had left. He had no business with the outside world, no ill-feelings and wanted exactly what he had. He was happy, which in turn made Beacon and extraordinarily happy dog.
It had been nearly four years on the small broken farm when the disease hit. Of course, Beacon had no idea what had happened. While milking his one old cow, Frank fell over dead. Beacon inspected the freshly deceased body but no overwhelming feelings came to the white mutt. What happened had happened and there was nothing he could do about it now. Although, he knew, in time someone would come. A now owner-less dog would become a re-addition to the Shelter he had left two years ago and if Beacon stayed, that's exactly what would happen. Immediately, the mutt set off through the miles of farmland in search of something concrete that he could put his trust in once again.
It hasn't been long since he found the Lexis tribe, with the memories of family still fresh in his mind and the easy-going life he has experienced so far, he has had little to no trouble adjusting to life within it's ranks. Although he felt little towards the human who owned him previously, he had become quite the loving canine towards his new pack-mates. He has quite a few years of socializing to make up for and plans on using every opportunity to his advantage.
Major turning points in life: Not much has happened in this canines life thus far. His owners death provided him with new opportunities to blossom, and so he has. His trusting nature is sure to get him in trouble.
