PYRE|He is...| Pyre Feline Colorpoint mix 4 years of age Red point His home is with the Lexis Tribe
|The mind and voice...|
Seemingly harmless, Pyre looks so soft and delicate, despite his unusual large size. And generally he is "soft". At least until you do something to him. Then you had better back off. He is fiercely protective, and as harsh as he looks delicate. An easy target? I think not. A firecracker he can be, and getting on his bad side is not the best idea, as he can make your life a living hell if he chooses. When it comes to those he considers his own though, there is no gentler cat in the vicinity. Okay, so he is a bit of a pushover when it comes to those he loves. The simplest things can bring him pleasure and happiness, and he is such a simple soul, though he can be quite vain about his appearance. Nothing too complex about him. He tends to think in black and white, with some grey. Logic is what runs his days, and how he reacts to situations. Always, he gathers the details, mostly silently, of any situation, and follows that his head decides is the best solution. He is highly observant, and there isn't much that can slip past his bright blue gaze, which is steady and unyielding. Someone you want on your side, not one that you want to cross, as he strongly supports what he loves and believes.
|That which the eyes see...|
A red point colorpoint short hair cat, Pyre is certainly different. Bright blue eyes stare out of a wider face, and they're aren't crossed, thank goodness. His ears are bright orange, and around the white marking the covers his muzzle, it is also orange. Farther away from these points it fades to a light cream color. You would think he was just plain white from a distance, at least until you came close and saw that there were indeed decipherable white marks amid the cream of his coat. The cream color darkens at the base of his tail, until it becomes orange once again to form a ringed tabby tail. To the touch, his fur is thick and soft, the softest one has probably ever felt before. And he is vain about his appearance, keeping his coat clean constantly. His body is tall and long, an unusually large feline, though very proportionate so that he doesn't look as big as he really is.
|Beginning of the book...|
He brought home a fluffy white kitten to a family of three, two parents and one small child. Well, four if you counted the older cat that also lived with the family. He was given an ordinary name by the family, and grew up healthy and mostly happy. Except for the fact that the older cat beat him up all the time. The family thought him shy and timid, when really he was nervous about the huge old cat that the child doted upon. When he was a year old, the older cat finally reached the end of his life and the family was devastated. So they turned to Pyre, and he became the cuddliest cat after the death of the old cat. He loved curling up on the lap of the father, and tolerated the little girl picking him up and petting him. The mother he went to for attention as well, and there was never a sweeter cat. But then the sickness struck, and much as the family tried to run from it, they didn't survive, though they care enough about him to leave escape hatches for him and leave enough food and water out to help him survive for the first few days until he could adjust. But, being a feline, Pyre was well capable of caring for himself, and was an efficient sport hunter. Once it was clear the family didn't escape the sickness, Pyre left the home and began to roam encountering many other pets who were in the same situation.

|She is...| Havoc Canine Saarlooswolfhond 3 years of age A mix of greys, blacks and browns Her home is with the Tempest Pack
|The mind and voice...|
Think her name might mean something? This girl loves to create havoc and disaster. Generally, she comes away smelling of roses while others roll and toil in the mess she made. Her inner cruelty is hidden by a mask of gentleness and love. One of her favourite games is to come across an innocent creature and make it trust her. Of course, this completed, it is not hard for the mask to become stripped away and reveal the demon within. Talk about creepy. She is a sly one, and always find the nooks and crannies where secrets are kept, and exploits what she knows. Yet, while she comes across as cold and hard, there is a heart in there, somewhere. When it comes to those in her life that she isn't tormenting, she is warm and comforting. But to see this is a rare occurrence. And she torments even those she professes to love. It's all a game to her, the cruelty, the malice. And there are times when she doesn't take anything seriously enough. When you first encounter Havoc, she may seem to be quiet and withdrawn, when really she is studying your every action and word. Always does she assess a situation, serious or not, to figure out how to act. If she thinks she can trick you, she will. If she knows there is no way and if she tries she may die, then you will encounter the real she-demon, not the mask.
|That which the eyes see...|
Wolfy much? As a hybrid breed, Havoc looks almost exactly like her wolf ancestors. Her fur ranges from dark grey and black to light tan and some red, with everything in between. He back is darker than her underbelly and her face, where there is more of the tan and white coloration, while her back is a mix to dark grey and black. Her legs are stilt-like, long and thinner, though very strong. Her body is long and lean, full of muscle and ends in a bushy tail much like that of a modern wolf. Her ears are light tan, standing up from her head, like a wolf or German Shepherd. Her head is wedge shaped, with a wider muzzle, again, very wolfy. Her multi-colored fur is short, yet very thick and the outer layer coarse. It provides excellent protection from all kinds of weather and from the sun as well. Her eyes are a dark chocolate brown, and sparkle with intelligence and mischief.
