Character name: Strychnine Twitch Bio link: Clickity Click :3Brief description of personality: Twitch is, as said in his bio, fearless. He's completely capable of taking insults and not being phased, and embarrassing himself and laughing. He's a joker, yes, but extremely smart, and has a strong sense of responsibility, especially to protect things he cares about (because he acts like "the big brother" to everyone). Why he/she should be the leader: Well, at first sight, Twitch may not seem fit for the job, but because he is young and optimistic and has a strong sense that both the species can get along, he would make an ideal leader for this Tribe. At the same time, despite his smarts, he is not a fighter in any way, and so if there were to be any kind of bloodshed between them and another group, he would need another alpha at his side or something similar to help him make decisions. So yes, in short, he has the right ideals to lead this pack, but would need help in doing so. Plus, he would be the most amusing pack leader ever, playing pranks and all...

Character name: Johari Bio link: clickie! *Hope it's alright that I'm posting her audition now! She hasn't been officially accepted yet, but I was hoping I could post this now while it was still on my mind. Brief description of personality: Johari is a gentle soul, for the most part, who is uninterested (but also unafraid) of conflict. It's important to know that Johari isn't fearful of conflict, she simply doesn't like it and will avoid it if she can. If threatened and backed into a corner, she is more than willing to vehemently defend herself.
The good:
- Extroverted, enjoys company - Excellent listener who encourages others to open up - Tirelessly patient - Levelheaded and just - Incredibly perceptive of others' emotions - Incredibly compassionate The bad: - Has difficulty expressing her true feelings - Unwilling to let others take care of her - Always gives more than she takes - Has unreasonably high expectations of those she loves - Has unreasonably high expectations of herself - Very emotionally sensitive, despite her strong exterior Why he/she should be the leader: I believe Johari should be the leader of Lexis because, first and foremost, she is very peaceful. Others may see her as idealistic, but she remains hopeful that canines and felines can tolerate one another without bloodshed. Not only that, but she hopes that canines and felines can form friendships and live in complete peace, working together as a unit. She would be open-minded enough to understand that not everyone in her tribe would share her exact beliefs, but she would definitely expect loyalty between her members. Other than this, I believe Johari would be an interesting leader for the Lexis because of her background. She has good memories of a canine, whereas her memories of the Iris Pride and Florence aren't quite so fond. I think this creates lots of opportunities for interesting side plots, as well as tribe wide plots. :][/blockquote]

Character name: Rochelle
Bio link: conflictingrivals.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=logs&action=display&thread=240&page=1
Brief description of personality: Righteous. Loyal. Selfless. Rochelle is pretty unique to say the least, she not perfect and has some flaws; such as being sarcastic ( to enemies ) or being temperamental on bad days. She alert and assertive, keeping her guard up constantly. She's forgiving and understanding, its a hobby of her's to help other when they are going through something. Rochelle can also be considered devoted and very courageous or kindhearted.
Why he/she should be the leader: In my opinion, Rochelle should become leader because she has a good nature about her. She's forgiving and understanding, devoted and kindhearted. Assertive and alert; she has many traits that are well suited for this position. She's also four years old, with a lot of pack life experience. Leading is one of her desires to and to help others along the way, to teach them the ways of life and to guild them to salvation and victory. Rochelle keeps things in order, while allowing others to have their own freedoms; to live under a strict but free lifestyle.
RP sample:
Lost within the deep hills of flora, where the sun had barely touched it's warm glow upon the dark grasses, shadows ever so quietly stirred. The black obsidian sky was dotted with the hot glow of stars that surround the pale moon that was snuggled into what looked like a black ocean with wispy white clouds here and there. The moon casted an eerie glow across the Nyack territory. The air was chilly, an average Autumn night. Winter was brutal, it would get so cold that the earth felt as if it would crack. But not tonight, tonight was perfect. Deep within the hill, a valley lay swallowed up in the middle. Coiling flora had seeped deep the vast valley, but most of the plant life had closed up for the night. Luminescent petals opened for the light of the moon to hit its surface, as if they were reaching up toward the heavens with their white faces. Moon flowers; as they were called seemed to open in masses. The valley was beyond words, its beauty and its size would leave any living thing in awe, as they would approach the sloping hill that lead into this paradise. All was still at the moment, the wind was at ease and the valley had become silent and still.
A quiet silhouette had casted it's hold on the hill top, silent Egyptian gold eyes ran across the mass. Light from the moon fell onto the curvaceous figure that stand tall on the edge of the grassy slope. Curious possibly, as this creature took one step toward the valley in the distance. Covered with a mass of luxurious auburn fur the she-wolf held her front paw up. The journey through these hills had put a strain on the muscles that lay in that one paw, the female turned her face toward her paw. Slowly, her long pink tongue escaped her colored snout only to run against the white paw. The warmth of her breath was soothing as it hit against the muscles and joints. A sigh of content rolled off out of her mouth as she once more lowered her paw to the ground, the contact made her wince; only slightly. Willow Fae, as she was known as had quietly begun to walk down the hill. Gold eyes were full to the brim of cat like curiosity, the smell of Nyack was on every inch of the border. The Nyack pack; exactly what this loner was looking for. Years of searching was possibly coming to an end as she neared this valley.
As white paws carried her down the hill, her scent would surly be behind her. Her perfume seeped into the grass and flora as padded silently down the hill. Finally, Willow had stepped foot onto the valley. A small grin had been carved into her auburn muzzle as if it were marble, ready to be sculpted. Willow padded slowly, taking in the sweet scent of flora. Her red body stood out from the mass of white as she stepped in rhythm. Suddenly her heart had felt heavy as she stared down at the beautiful white flower; a favorite of her Mothers. No tears, not now. Willow sucked in a deep breath of air as she closed her golden eyes for a moment. ' Not here. Not now ' She whispered to herself before continuing her steps.
A light breeze tousled Willow's auburn fleece, she had found a comfortable patch of flowers and took a seat. She peered up into the black ocean sky, the stars seem to dance around as if they were celebrating her arrival. Fighting her emotions was difficult, when they would hit; it would be intense. It was out of her control as water seemed to bubble from her almond eye slits. Willow could feel the warmth of her tears come splashing down her colored cheeks, dripping off into the dark grass. Her body had went tense as she tried to fight the tears off. Tail lashing in anxiety and paws shifting uneasily. Without warning a whine had escaped her whitish muzzle.
Willow was a strong female, yet so easily broken.
It felt like an eternity before the tears had finally stopped, blinking her gold eyes for a moment Willow sighed in content. Once more, the female hoped to her paws. Willow began to walk deeper into the valley. White paws carried her slowly before she had suddenly hit the ground, gold eyes looked around shocked as her body was mixed in with the tall grass and fur. Wincing a bit, her eyes gazed down at her paw. ' Dammit. ' The she-wolf said quietly. Her paw throbbed with pain, as she tried to stand up once more. Puffing out a few slow breaths, Willow had made it too her feet. Licking her paw gently she tucked it against her chest. The constant pain was a nuance's, and this chilly weather was no help. A little pain never hurt anyone, at least that's would Willow would tell herself. Gathering her thoughts for a moment or two, she continued her destination towards the middle of the valley. The ground seemed to slope down as you grew closer towards the middle. Slowly but surly, the auburn female had begun to ease down the slope, her paws lightly pushing down flowers and grass.
Willow's colored muzzle curved up into a smile. Finally, she had made it to her destination. Her tail flicked with enthusiasm as she walked into the middle, the grass was cool as it surrounded her curvaceous body. A yawn escaped her muzzle as she lowered her body to the ground, Willow was never known to have lazy days but this was too bliss to pass up. Stretching out her sore paw she placed her head on top of her paws and relaxed. Her erect ears stayed alert, moving around to pick up any noise. Her colored tail coiled carefully around her body, until the tip had lightly touched her belly. Willow sighed in content, she could have fell asleep here if she wanted too but she had to wait. To wait for a Nyack wolf to catch her scent, to come and find her. And if it was the alpha, she would prove her worth to him. This thought made her smile with sincerity.

Character name: Ever Bio link: Here ^^Brief description of personality: She is a very headstrong wolf. She is overly protective and is always alert. She has deep beliefs and shows a lot of Pride within herself and of every good thing she does. She is kind of hot tempered, though she calms down quickly. She loves to be around people, but enjoys her time alone also. She has a deep passion for her brothers and pack members. She is good at keeping her emotions in check and is very calm (other than her temper). Why he/she should be the leader: One of her most prominent attributes is that she is a very strong leader. There is a gravity to her words and thoughts that people hold dearly. She is a very good listener and will always take into consideration both sides. Ever since she was a pup, she has been very alert and was the Babysitter of the other pups in her pack. She feels very strongly towards peace, thinking that no one will die if no one fights anymore. She doesn't hate cats, even if they did murder her parents. She believes that, in a way, it was the Tempest packs fault her parents died. The cats were just doing what they had to do to survive, just as the wolves. She wants the fighting to end. She is very alert, all of the time, so this will help with alerting the pack if danger is coming. Because she is serious, nothing will get past her. She has many ideas for peace, and wants to share these with the world.

Character name: Myra Bio link: MyraBrief description of personality: Myra is smart, understands people, loyal, keep a level head most of the time, protective of her pride, and torn between listening to her head and her heart. Why he/she should be the leader: Myra is very loyal, her pride means everything to her. If someone attacks her pride without a good reason she fights with the fury that only a leader could have. She makes choice that is best for her pride no matter how much pain it causes her, no matter how bad it makes her personal life. This cougar is very observant and knows her pride, a good trait for a leader. While she might be young Myra is indeed a leader. Roleplay Sample(this is all of my posts so far in a thread): Heather's three paws twitched occasionally, sometimes fallowed by a twitch of the tail. The brown mink and tortieshell she-cat rolled on to her side, deep in the clutches of sleep. She would dream of many things but lately they had been centered around one thing, the wild, also known as her birthplace. In her dreams she would be hunting, never missing a single piece of prey and savoring its flavor when she tore in to its meat. She would run through fields and weave in between trees, enjoying every second of it. When night came or there was a storm she would find shelter, only managing to stay warm and dry. The whole world was amazing and she loved every detail of it but there was always one that outweighed the others, she had all four legs. She loved this world and she wanted to stay in it forever, to be a cat living in that wonderful wild world. But of course that could not last forever. Heather's pale-green eyes flashed open as her dream ended. For a second they where confused, wondering where her life had gone. But just seconds later she remembered and a wave of despair washed over her. She was not a strong wildcat, she was a house cat that had not even been outside once in her life. She did not hunt for her food, in fact she had never even tasted fresh-kill. She did not run through fields and trees, in fact she had never run at all. She never found her own shelter, she always curled up in a den the twolegs provided. And worst of all, she only had three legs. Three legs, hardly a wildcat. It was the reason she had never been outside, the twolegs where always scared that she would die. The reason that she had never caught a single piece of prey and never got to run for even a second. Due to that curse she never got to find her own shelter, she always had to use what the twolegs provided. And worst of all, it was the reason her parents had given her up. A pang of sadness rang through Heather as she thought about this. She would try to picture her parents but that would never really work. Most of that was because of the cat she lived with, Emu. There was something wrong with the short-furred tabby cat to say the least. Emu would tell her crazy stories about the times that he had went out in to the wild and heard of or seen the place that she had come from. According to the strange cat she came from a place called Lightningpan, a magical alternate world. All of the cats there had had bright yellow pelts and eyes that shown with the lightning that they could summon at will. Yes, there was something very wrong with Emu. She did not bother pointing out that none of that description fit her for he would find some was to overrule that. But there was one thing that she did actually believe that came from Emu's mouth. Her parents gave her to the twolegs because they did not believe that she would be able to survive there due to her missing leg, the Malcorns would turn her in to a rainbow-eyed duck with no problem. Okay, so she did not believe the part about the Malcorns, but she did believe the rest. Her parents did not believe that she would make it. They though that she was weak, that she would be killed with no problem, but she was not! True, she had never caught a single piece of prey or even ran before but she would learn. So far she had been okay even though the twolegs had helped her with her kit-hood, but now she could make it. They would see, she would make it to Lightningpan(she called her birthplace that due to not knowing its real name) and show them that they where wrong and she would make it. But to do that she would need to get out and to do that she would need a little help. The brown mink tortieshell hopped away from her little bed and across the twoleg prey-den over to where Emu was sitting. Heather blinked her pale-green eyes and softly asked, "Emu, can you please help me with something?" The insane brown tabby blinked then asked with worry, "what is it young Heather-plant, have the Killchox finally found you?" Heather shook her head and answered, "no no, do Killchox here. I was wondering if you knew how to get outside. Emu nodded with false wisdom and meowed, "so you wish to leave the safe-den and enter the world of Partoo? Swecan informed me this high-sphere would come, what can I do but honor this sacred occasion? Go down to the above-grave and search the barriers, you will find a portal. But be brave, young plant, Partoo is much more harsh then you make it out to be."
Heather nodded in thanks then turned around and hopped her way down to the basement. After searching the walls for a little while the tortieshell found a hole, just big enough for her to squeeze through. It was dark and dank, but it was a tunnel in the wall. Luckily it was relatively short, in moments she reached the outside. For a moment all she could do was stand there, awestruck by the outside world. For the first time she felt the wind, smelt the crisp morning air, heard birdsong, and saw grass. Grass!
She bent down so her chest was touching the short grass for a moment and chewed on it, enjoying the crisp taste in her mouth and knowing that there was more to come. It seemed to call to her, beg her to roll in it, enjoy it for it was her life now. At least it was, until she lifted her head up for a moment and saw the sky. It was a sunny day, the sky was blue and dotted with fluffy white clouds. Just like my dreams. Her gaze wandered across it, traveling across it. Eventually she saw a group of green things poking in to the sky. She let her gaze travel down it and on to the thick brown thing that supported it. This must be a tree! Instead of causing her to gaze at it in wonder that caused her to remember her mission, make her even more devoted. There will be more trees where I'm going, I think.
Heather raised her head high and hopped towards and eventually past the tree until she nearly hopped in to a long brown thing. The she-cat's pale green eyes scanned the long wooden thing that seemed to be surrounding her, she would have to jump over it. It took her several tries but eventually she managed to jump over in and land on her stomach on the street on the other side of it. She now felt sore but she ignored it, it probably would not last that long. Heather pushed herself to her three brown-and-black-speckled legs, she was finally free.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To sum it up, it was wonderful. There was this hard gray stuff under her feet and a small and slick black path after that. Heather glanced down at the hard gray stuff then carefully lifted up her front paw and lowered it, scraping it along the gray stuff. She was greeted by a sharp stinging feeling, this made her wince but inside she boiled with excitement, it was similar to the discomfort she got when she jumped off the tall wooden thing. This must be pain!
A pang of sadness ran through Heather, she had never experienced pain with her overly-protective twolegs, how many cats had never experienced pain before? After a second of pondering she shook it off, she was free now, she would experience many more things, hopefully things that felt better then pain.
The natural mink tortoiseshell went back to taking in her surroundings. There was something strange beyond the sleek black path, a huge square. Or at least she thought it was a square, part of it was blocked by another tall wooden thing. But this wooden thing was not like the one she jumped over, she was not even sure if it was wood at all! No, this one was white with a spiked top, not pain brown with a flat top like hers. I wonder if there are many more kinds of tall wooden things. Do they come in a bunch of different colors like those pelts that twolegs put on?
Tearing her gaze away from the tall possibly-wooden thing Heather went back to gazing at the giant square. It seemed to have lines going across it, like some kind of pelt pattern. It was a very pale shade of yellow, or at least most of it was. At some points there where these things that seemed to lack color, like some sort of blind eye. She could see part of some wooden thing a the center of it before the tall possibly-wooden thing cut her off. Is that a mouth?
Heather took a step back, maybe that square was alive and waiting for the right moment to pounce! She would have to watch it. Her gaze wandered from the yellow square to something odd beside it. It seemed like some sort of mini-square, only this one did not have a tall wooden thing blocking it from sight. It was much smaller and white instead of yellow. This one had no colorless-eyes, but it did have something much more terrifying. Where the big square had a wooden mouth this one seemed to be missing its lips, all there was was what seemed like a curled-up white thing near the top, where there where no lips it clearly showed the inside of the mouth.
It seemed dark and dank but Heather could see something inside it. There was something that looked like a creature, possibly sleeping. Its shape was hunched over with a round top, Heather could not tell if it slept like that or it was always like that. Its pelt was a shiny shade of red, like a kind of food that the twolegs ate. Its paws where round and black, all in all it had a menacing look to it.
Suddenly she heard something like pawsteps and turned around to see Dodger. Hey there whats a little kitten like you doing out of her home? Heather frowned at this, just because she was missing a leg did not mean that she could not be away from home. Why was this cat asking anyway? There must be lots of cats in the wild, did he ask them the same thing? While these questions ran through her mind one spoke to her most of all, should she tell him? This cat could be dangerous and want to hurt her, but then again he might just be curious. In the end she decided to tell him the truth, along with some of her own questions. "I'm looking for the place my parents where born, that and freedom. I don't want to be trapped inside anymore like I was my whole life. I want to see the sky, I just saw it for the first time a moment ago, isn't it amazing!? Anyway why are you asking why I'm out here? There are probably lots of cats out here in the wild, why ask me?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heather was having trouble deciding what to think of Dodger once she got a good look at him but before he said anything. As a strictly-indoor-cat the natural mink and tortoiseshell had only even encountered two cats, the two she lived with, Emu and Whimsy. Emu was an average sized brown tabby Maine Coon tom with green eyes. At first glance he seemed perfectly normal, unless you gazed in to his green eyes. If you looked into there depths you could tell that there was something wrong with them although you couldn't quite pinpoint what. All that you could tell was that there was something wrong with him, very wrong. If you talked to him for a little while you would find out why, he was completely insane. Emu could almost never have a serious conversation without going on about some imaginary creature. Yes Emu was insane, but he was also nice. Whimsy, on the other hand, was completely different. She had long blue-cream fur and sky blue eyes, it was impossible to identify exactly what breed she was. If you looked at her Whimsy seemed fine at first glance as well, but only at first glance. Unlike Emu Whimsy's problems where not well hidden at all, maybe because she did not feel the need to hide them or maybe she just did not have the capacity. Her eyes where pretty yet they where blank, vacant. Not like a cats eyes might be if they where blind, this was much, much different. They say that eyes are a window to you're soul, well if that was the case Whimsy's windows had shutters over them. You would see nothing, no spark, no lively glow, nothing to really suggest that she was more then an empty shell. Yet there where rare times when it seemed like the shutters had been pulled back to reveal a bright light, like Whimsy was trapped inside her own body. Maybe that was a case, the blue she-cat was very rarely able to produce words and not always able to really move, most of the time the twolegs brought her food to her. Heather and Emu's companion was trapped inside her own body, inside her own mind. From these encounters Heather was able to tell when a cat was insane or mentally retarded but that was it. In fact she was not even able to pick out all kinds of insanity, so far only severe and obvious insanity and the funny creates-make-believe-creatures kind. She was blind to the bad in the world, completely unaware that there where other cats out there that would enjoy harming her. Everything she knew about the outside world she learned from Emu, and he was certainly not the most reliable source. She did not know what was out there in the big bad world, that there where cats that would like to harm her, she had strong opinions of freedom yet she easily trusted any cat. Any cues or signals that Dodger might have sent to show that he was bad news where lost to Heather due to this. Why not ask? Its not like you were going anywhere in a hurry. The fence there is a bit more of a leap then I`m guessing you can handle. I`m asking you because I got bored with the last cat I happened upon, and they weren`t nearly as nice looking. The Sky? Yeah I guess its not to bad, there are worse things out there. Freedom..... there is no such thing, as freedom. It is the liberty without liberty, and was given up from the moment you were born. Life outside of your little prison back there isn`t so lucky to be called freedom. Heather frowned, she might trust others very easily but she still had her own opinions. The saying that she was good looking was very nice, flattering even, but what he said about freedom upset her. He was wrong, he had to be! The natural mink and tortoiseshell she-cat was silent for a moment before she meowed, " freedom exists. Some might not see it but then again many have lived in the same condition there whole lives, never experiencing more freedom or less freedom, therefore it would make seance for them not to believe that freedom exists. Freedom exists in many different amounts, look at it this way, that big nest might as well have been a prison. Out here there is wind, those big brown things with green things on top of them that I think might be trees, the sky, the green stuff poking out of the ground that I'm pretty sure is grass, and all those beasts around us! That is freedom. Someone could be living in complete freedom and not know it because they have there whole life or as long as they can remember where as some know they are because they fought for it. I for one want complete freedom and am ready to fight for it."Heather did not know what was out there in the big bad world, but she was ready to face it.
Character name: Badeya {De} Bio link: conflictingrivals.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=canines&action=display&thread=254 Brief description of personality: ``The Good,, ` Extremely Smart and loves sharing the wisdom she knows ` Loyal ` Affectionate ` Very Brave ` Calculates everything she does ` Gives more than she takes ` Loves making friends
``The Bad,, ` She finds it difficult to trust ` Believes male dogs wish to harm her until they prove otherwise ` Can have random temper tantrums and be angry for days
Why he/she should be the leader: I believe that Badeya should be leader of Lexis because she is very smart. She is smart enough to know that not everyone will respect her rules over the Tribe. She has also seen a lot in her life from her past so she knows how tragic the past can be. She is also calm and collected. She normally neglects the thought of a fight but can put up a good one if needed. She is also brave and willing to separate fights and run into them without worrying. Every choice she makes is one she has carefully thought out. Once she enters a land she quickly memorizes almost everything about it and her mind calculates what areas can be used for what. She is also an excellent hunter. Her only true downfall is her temper. If a creature decides to argue with her continuously without reason then she will grow angry, and be angered with that creature for days.
[bg=white][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,true]Character name: Delilah Bio link: conflictingrivals.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=canines&action=display&thread=269&page=1Brief description of personality:Positive traits - CourageousForgiving Loyal / DevotedUnderstandingNegative traits - Brutally HonestShort temperedStubborn Why he/she should be the leader:To me, I think Delilah should become the leader because she has a good head on her shoulders and she's not perfect. Through her flaws and all she has good traits and bad ones; which balance her out perfectly. Though she's never had any leader experience due to her living alone, she has learned about the world on her own. She's also mature enough to handle her responsibility's, if she ever had the chance to take over the tribe. I also believe that Delilah's rule would be very free spirited but she would have it in an organized way with a strong hierarchy. Delilah would treat every canine and feline with respect and discipline any of those who decide to become traitorous against the tribe. Intelligence is a key factor and without out your pack can become un - organized if being run by someone who is a bit slow. Last but not least, I believe that if the tribe was in Delilah's paws, the tribe would grow and prosper. Roleplay sample: Found in my bio :)
i'd like to resign from auditioning. The more I develop Twitch into a character, the less of a leader type he seems to be (or at least, he doesn't want to be leader) ^^. I want to keep him in character, so... good luck to everyone else :3
