He is very battle-smart because of his history, but doesn't exactly enjoy getting into battle now that he has a choice, most of the time. He is strong-willed and optimistic. It's usually very hard to break his spirits; he sees the puddle half full instead of half empty. Streiter has a good sense of humor, and a deep, throaty laugh that could get anyone at least smirking with amusement. Though he's steady on his paws, when he trips up it's amusing to watch because of his good size. He is very understanding and sympathetic, and he loves younger animals. In battle, Streiter almost never aims for the kill, unless he finds it absolutely necessary. Though he had to do so in the past, he does it no longer because he no longer wishes to break the hearts of those close to his victim. In other words, Streiter is something along the lines of a pacifist. He will not murder in cold blood. Streiter's good at resolving situations because he's had to do so often in the past. He is clever, quick-witted, and charming, but he uses his charm only for the benefit of others. He's not interested in love, because he tried it once before. Care and love, however, are different things; he will care for anyone. Three strengths: - Peacemaker - Strong fighter - Optimistic Three weaknesses: - Will not kill - Large (slow) - Instinctive hatred / dislike of other male lions (LOOKIN' AT MY REFLECTION); Height: Four feet, Seven inches Weight: 389 lbs. Appearance: Streiter is the average golden lion: large, broad-shouldered, barrel-chested, and long, with a thick dark gold mane. His pelt is very, very short, and along his body are a lot of scars and scratches from other lions. His mane, however, is quite long, his fur usually tangled, with bits of debris caught in the thick hairs. His mane, like most lion, extends a ways on his belly, making him look a little wide in the sternum, which is partly true, only the mane makes it even moreso. The fur on his belly and around his armpit (do cats have armpits?) is a bit of a darker color, almost black, but really more of a brown. The pads of his paws are black, as is his nose. There are little black spots on his tongue as well, some birthmarks of his. He has bright emerald eyes with very dark skin around them, giving him an almost permanent exhausted look. (REMINISCING LIKE HELL); History: Streiter was born in a small town very near to Hexasol - a sister city, you might say unofficially, but it was most certainly a lesser sister city - in a zoo, to the lead lions of the pride, whose names were Timber and Kina. Streiter was healthy and happy, though a little peculiar, because he was born with black fur. Naturally, though, through the first year of his life, it changed to it regular bright gold fur with very light chocolate spots. It was simply on oddity, but the reputation never went away in the time of the humans. He was always talked about, in distant cities, nearby cities, other countries, and, unfortunately, in a very illegal underground male lion fighting group. Streiter was about two years of age, mane just now beginning to grow. He was a very decent size for his age, and very non-violent. One night, around midnight, several men broke into the zoo and kidnapped the oddball. He had no way to defend himself, nor could his parents come and defend him. They tranquilized him and took him to a very pathetic storage facility, and they locked him in a cage. The usual fighting provocation took place, and then he was let loose, feeling trapped and angered. He quickly became the champion of almost all fights (hence the name Streiter) and was known throughout the secret group. For around six years, Streiter fought and slaughtered other lions, never making a friend, neither human nor animal. He was never let out to socialize with the other males, for fear that Streiter (who was sick of himself for murdering others) would hurt them. Then, at the end of those long, brutal six years of terror, the humans began to get sick. Fights were canceled, and Streiter took charge. At first naturally, the younger lions feared him, but he let them know (gently) that he was boss, and though he naturally distrusted each and every one of them for being males (which he'd been trained to kill), he led them to a brutal slaughter of the humans who had once owned them. After that, they all went their separate ways, and Streiter made his way to Hexasol. Major turning points in life: - Born near Hexasol in zoo - Kidnapped in zoo by underground German group - Taught to fight and kill other males - Captors killed by virus + lion revolt - Arrived at Hexasol - Joined Lexis Tribe Family: - None
