So, that's Pancake ^
Personality:
Pancake's intelligence will never get him into any competitions. Ever since he was a small kitten, he was much, much slower than the rest of his siblings. He learnt at his own pace, and couldn't be forced to learn with his brothers and sisters. No, he took time letting the cogs work inside his head, turning painfully slowly as he tried to learn things that seemed painfully obvious. Because of this slight mental affliction, Pancake was the subject of taunting and bullying by all of the cats that he knew. They would smirk and laugh as he asked stupid questions, and no one ever understood the Pancake under the stupidity. All everyone else saw was the stupid, dumb, thick idiot. Pancake never had the confidence to stand up for himself and shout at them that he wasn't that dull, be he was frightened and intimidated and he never gained that confidence.
As the stereotype goes, curiosity killed the cat. Well, Pancake had always been very curious. He would ask impossible questions that could never be answered, such as why the sky was blue, or how the Earth came to be. Even if there had been an answer, the likelihood of Pancake forgetting the answer was high. Many joked that his brain was the size of a pea and was much like a sieve as he asked, forgot, and asked a few moments later. He was dull and forgetful, yet curious. While Pancake would ask these questions, everyone would reply 'why do you need to know? it's not like it matters.' and Pancake would pout because nobody understood.
The bullying from his kittenhood caused Pancake to get a very low self esteem and a huge lack in confidence. He would keep himself to himself and become socially awkward if anyone approached or tried to talk to him. In extreme cases, he would develop a stutter, purely because he hated communicating that much. He grew up believing that everyone was cruel to him, and so everyone in the future would also be cruel to him. Pancake never even stopped to think that perhaps not everyone was as mean as the kittens that bullied him.
tl;dr? basically, he's a shy little kitty who has spent most of his life being bullied by the 'clever' cats. He's also very curious, but is now afraid to ask questions in case he's laughed at. He's learnt to be silent and quiet so no one will taunt him.
What does he need? Maybe a bully from his past? Maybe a female kitty that understands him? Maybe a close friend who he can confide in? Maybe a dog?
Anything goes!

I think that my pit bull Bronx would be the perfect little friend for Pancake. :3
He is a fountain of self-confidence, and not in a jerk-ish sort of way. He's very cheerful, easy-going, a generally happy and fun loving guy who "doesn't afraid of anything", as the saying goes. x3 He's very amiable and forgiving, doesn't ever hold a grudge, and has enough optimism to turn a funeral into a party. He is just the kind of friend to have if you're lacking in the confidence department.
Not to mention, he's not horribly bright and would probably make Pancake feel like a genius by comparison.
I'd like to see them go on an adventure maybe. Perhaps they go exploring one of the flooded areas (or otherwise find themselves in need of crossing said area) and, somehow, Bronx gets stuck or trapped by something. The smaller, more inquisitively observant Pancake could perhaps figure out a way for Bronx to escape whatever place he has managed to get stuck in, and boom, instant friendship happy times and such.

You can make it. I've got some stuff to do tomorrow- well today technically. x3 So I might not get a chance to get it until late. Might be faster if you start it. I'll be able to reply once I'm done making phone calls though.
