[atrb=background,http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/6703/dejecttablebg.png] So this is my guy Dejected, a black lab with some serious inner turmoil that needs sorting out, and it can't be sorted by just anyone. I'm looking for a mate for him, but they should be prepared for (or at least capable of handling) a struggle. Largely because I'm not a big fan of "they meet, they're perfect, they fall in love, the end" plots. But also because... this is Dejected we are talking about here. Deject has already lost the female he believed was his one and only soul mate. She was attacked and killed by a cougar. Now, he sort of wanders the world like a case of the living dead- numb to everything, including physical pain, and blank to much of the outside world. All he feels is the pain of his lost love, and can therefore be extremely volatile if said subject is brought up. It's like jamming salt into an open wound or raking it with dirty claws. It's a very touchy thing for him, as it was a recent development in his very short life, and is easily his most painful, debilitating flaw. Outside of his sensitivity to certain subjects (and his tendency to be easily offended/hold grudges until the end of time), he's a normal dog. Intelligent, punctual, a bit of a perfectionist but with a heart that was probably once whole. So if any of you have females out there whom aren't doing anything, and who might be interested in piecing together this shattered soul of a dog, please let me know. I have a whole bunch of ideas for this guy and where his plot could take him, including both happy and extremely sad/depressing endings, and would be interested in any contributions. x3 He's a cool character, trust me. Packs are not an issue by the way. Deject is a loner, and I would not mind him joining either pack of dogs. In fact, I'd anticipate it. But neither he nor I have any preference between the two.
