Kindred ------ Four Years • Female • Dog • Siberian Husky • No Pack ------
PERSONALITY | Kindred is a social creature. While some might be quiet and reserved; Kindred is the complete opposite. She's full of energy and loves attention. She'll weasel her way into your heart if she can. She likes being around other canines and will do her best to please them. There is a strong will with her; a sound heart. She is full of loyalty but can have her moments of being shy and solitary. Though; Kindred will not opt for this most of the time. She is not one to jump to conclusions readily and will weigh the pros and cons of any situation quite thoroughly. If you are a friend; you are one for life. If you are an enemy; she won't hesitate to make sure you know it. Though; one has to do something drastic to wind up an enemy as kindred does not hate often. She can be found often talking to herself and trying to figure things out in that mind of hers. Sometimes; it will run away with her and that can usually drive her into a trance of sorts.
Well-Kept: Kindred is very specific about her appearance. She will keep herself rather cleanly. She is not one to like a speck of dirt on her even and will do her best to clean it off if she can. She'll even result to letting another do this if they are close to her; affectionate with her. All in all; she's quite a beautifully kept creature.
Affectionate: Kindred is not one to be frightened about showing her true personality off. She's very kind toward others and often affectionate toward a male or puppy she's come to be fond of. She will not hesitate to let them know of her affections either. She could be found rubbing against their side or giving little licks to their muzzle or neck. Perhaps even playfully tugging on their ears or little nips to their neck as well.
Playful: Kindred definitely knows how to play. She is not one to sit back when something fun is going on and merely watch. She has to be involved in games of tag and chase. Readily jumping into the action if she isn't chased away. She's by far a very social butterfly so to say. Opting usually to be in the center of things rather than just there.
Loyal: If you have found your way into her heart then you are there for life. Perhaps you might anger her at times but her loyalty goes a long way. She will fight for you; love you. She will be a shoulder to cry on and a friend to trust in. She will not let you down if she can help it.
Intelligence: Kindred is pretty intelligent. There is never a moment that her mind isn't working. She likes to go over things thoroughly and make sure it all makes sense. Kindred is not the kind of creature that will just jump into a conversation she doesn't think she needs to be involved in. If there is something going on that she feels she has an input for; Kindred will speak up about it. This can sometimes get her into trouble though. That goes with being a dog though doesn't it?
Stubborn: There are times when Kindred will be quite stubborn. If she is sure about something; there is no changing her mind. Her ideas are hers along and they are strong within her. If she feels it is right; she will not hesitate to make you understand this. She is set in her ways and there really is no changing her. This doesn't make her a bad dog; it merely defines her a little more than some others.
Overly-Friendly: At times; her friendly personality can get her into trouble. She is somewhat a little too sociable. She will greet a stranger as though they could be her best friend at times. While usually though; she will be rather dis-trusting of them. This is most of the time but not all of the time. She can be quite pup-like in personality where she would want to play no matter who you were. This can get irritating but others tend to over-look it or get used to it.

APPEARANCE | Kindred is a Siberian Husky who holds the coloring of a Red and White with icy blue eyes. She has a thick; plush coat of fur and strong; robust build. She has a mask that covers her forehead and around her eyes. Otherwise, her face is white with the typical red nose of a red husky.
Her skull is softly rounded and her muzzle is rather lengthy. She has dark lips and a nose that matches the coloring in her coat. For all purposes of course; this is a red nose.
Kindred's ears are triangular and of medium length. They are carried high and erect and of thick fur covering them. Her eyes are almond-shaped and are ice blue in color.
Kindred's body is moderately compact and her neck is carried in a proud arch most of the time. When she is trotting however; her neck is extended softly so that her head is carried slightly forward. Her body is deep and strong but not too broad. She is taunt and lean toward the loins. She has a sloped crouch but not too steep and has a long; straight back. Never sloped or swaying.
Kindred's tail is richly clad; carried high above her back in a sickle curve. She stands about 21 inches and weighs in around 50 pounds. She is rather healthy and well kept for a Siberian Husky.

HISTORY | Kindred was born into a home of a Siberian Husky Breeder. She was well cared for up to six months old and well trained for beginning her Sledding Training. Eventually; she was sold to a Musher and taken to Alaska. This however; didn't last long. She was abandoned when her owner died with severe injuries from a dog attack. By the time the team was found; some had died of starvation or various injuries of being left out in the elements. She was severely emaciated but alive. She'd luckily had plenty of snow to eat for water. They sent her to a veterinarian clinic in the states and worked on bringing her health back up. Once this was done; they put her into a shelter and hoped for the best. She was a gorgeous dog and the high hope was that she'd find a home. This didn't happened though as one day; she slipped free of her lead and ran off. This of course eventually led her here; to Conflicting Rivals.
