Are our characters going to get older? Just because I thought that there's a lot of puppies and kittens from the materity-board, and it would be odd if they got older while their parents never aged.
Then it would maybe also be funnier with masters and apprentices in the packs. Well, don't know if others are with or against the idea. Of course our characters shouldn't get old within a few months in the real life, it's not like that I think of it (then our characters would be nothing but a bunch of oldies! xD)
It's just a question, and something I think would make everything more realistic ^^ But I don't know if it's going to be too complicated? I just came to think about it because sometimes I hear people say something like "when she gets older then she's going to be like this and that", and then I thought "what about the parents?" since it would be odd with a child who are 2 years old, and both of the parents are 2 years old too - I hope you get my point :b

It's going to be harder to keep track of the aging, however I've been thinking about it recently. We're approaching the second year in Hexasol, and therefore many characters that were created when the site begun should age up.
Now I'm going to be trusting members to do this alone. Your character cannot stay one year old forever, and your kittens also cannot stay kittens forever. Everything ages. So yes, if this site lasts that long, your characters will not survive forever! <3
Also, what do you mean by Masters and Apprentices?

Possibly there's a rule that for every year in Hexasol, your characters age a year?
So, since there are 4 seasons and each last a month long, every 4 months your characters could age a year?

Yeahh that's what I was thinking, although it won't work for characters created in the winter, and will only have a few months of being the same age.
So, maybe a character ages up every time they come to the season they were created... however it is difficult to remember what season they were created... -shrug- I won't be able to keep track of the ages of dogs, but I'm trusting you guys to age up your characters.

Maybe you should add something near the bottom for when the character was created? Like, "birthday" or something. It would just be the date that they entered Hexasol.

There's also the date of when the character's bio was posted, since it always says under the title

I think it sounds as a good idea, that if a character was created in summer, then it becomes 1 year older the next summer it spends in Hexasol. That's still pretty many months in the real life, before you character ages.
There just have to be send a mail to people that they should remember this on their own. Maybe more mails are needed until it becomes a habit to everyone, I don't know - just to somehow make sure people remember it ^^
Well, some many have created their characters a long time ago, so yes, it can be hard to remember which season they were created in, but then we can just guess about it, like "it was almost there" or something. As long as a season for the ageing is desided and pepole remember to make their character older, then it should be fine.
To Pic: About the masters and apprentices, I just meant that in the packs it's the older ones who teach the younger ones how to do their job in the pack. So older=master, young (the children of the pack/pride)=apprentice x)
