Lotsa charries in need of some lovin'

Hi folks! Alright so at the moment I've got six characters. I haven't roleplayed in over a month and I'm positively dying for some new threads. My wonderful characters are as follows: Tazo, Saba, Dawn, Harvard, Dvorak, and Cherish. Click on each of their names to see their bios. A mini-bio and what I'm looking for in regards to threads can be found below.

Tazo: An African Wild Dog who has changed quite a lot since his creation. He once had some serious paranoia and trust issues but they have been disbanded by his (hopefully) soon-to-be mate Astrid (played by Xarkla). Tazo is a bizarre and somewhat quirky character with a very strange appearance. Obviously, he's got the usual exotic appearance of any African Wild Dog, but he's also got a unique physical deformity: his right canine tooth is longer than it should be, and it keeps him from closing his mouth properly. Because of this he drools slightly and can't hunt in a normal manner. Tazo needs friends and enemies aplenty, but his heart is spoken for.

Saba: Saba is a pretty little female kitty who's got a few mental issues, though it's nothing that affects her day-to-day life given the right circumstances. She comes from a family of breeders and was very off-set when the humans died. Furthermore, she has an absolutely debilitating fear of dogs that completely puts her life on hold for as long as they're around. She literally freezes in place. This has almost cost her her life on many occasions, and she wouldn't be here today if not for her brave mother Salsa and her protective brother Roman. Someone was supposed to start playing Salsa... But the bio never got created. So! If you're interested in playing Salsa, let me know and we'll talk about my basic vision for her, and you can bring her to life! As for Roman, I think I'm gonna play him. I likes him very much the more I think about him. Anywho, Saba is definitely looking for someone to play her mother, she needs a lover, and friends and enemies are always good. Any sadistic dogs looking for a cat to scare the piss out of? Saba is your girl =)

Dawn: Dawn is an ex-Scavenger, now a loner, Arctic Wolf, widow, and new mother. She travels around with her lone pup Leonardo and a coyote named Autumn whom she feels incredibly motherly for. She is fiercely protective over these two canines. She hates felines, especially lions, with a burning passion. If you're a cat and you get anywhere near her, you don't have a good chance of living. Dawn very recently lost her beloved mate in the war between cats and dogs. She's not quite ready to love again, but feel free to give it a shot. You never know what might happen. Non-wolves need not apply for the position of her mate. She's too proud to breed with anything less...or so she thinks. Maybe a stunning german shepherd could catch her eye? With her PTSD there is tons of room for conflict here, and the lonely crazed girl could certainly use some friendship. Just watch out kitties! Come to Dawn only if you would like to meet your death.

Harvard: Harvard is the definition of a sadist. This fat cat loves to torture dogs and cats alike, as well as any other creature who looks his way. While the crazy girl Bastet (played by Phish) has somewhat captured his heart, there is no room for friends here. If you want your character tortured (who doesn't?), then bring them to me and we'll have a play date with Harvard. This brute is an Iris cat through and through, though maybe if they knew of his sadistic tendencies not even they would harbor him. There is a way to get on his good side however; pay him enough (in food of course) and he'll leave you be. Maybe he'll even do you favors - he is an excellent assassin. So, who wants to play with my sweet sadist?

Dvorak: This little guy is very unique, to say the least. A cute little Pembroke Welsh Corgi, he looks totally normal though when you get to know him you'll realize he's anything but. For one thing, he lives mostly alone in the ruins that were once Hexasol castle. I say mostly alone because of his strange friendship with a lively Magpie named Rave. He doesn't have many friends aside from this bird, and very obviously does his best to avoid hanging out around large groups of dogs or cats. This aversion to large groups is due to his synesthesia, a disorder of the lexical-gustatory variety. That is, this little dog can taste words. Every word tastes different, and most of them don't taste like what they are. By this I mean the word vanilla doesn't taste like vanilla. In fact it tastes like soil. Quite unpleasant, as I'm sure you can imagine. This little dog also has a very short attention span due to a case of ADHD. Because of these things the poor guy believes that he is better off alone. More than anything though he desires just one good canine friend, maybe even a mate and pups. Rave just can't quite fulfill Dvorak's desire for canine companionship. Are you up to the challenge?

Cherish: Lastly we have my darling Cherish, a Scottish Wildcat and Leopard Cat mix. If I could describe her in one word it would be abrasive. She's got quite the attitude on her, and it can be downright difficult to deal with her. She's made it quite hard to build any close relationships. This girl is inherently very angry and defensive, though no one really knows why. Not even she understands her bad attitude. In fact, she acknowledges that she is unpleasant to be around, wants very badly to change that, and just can't. Believe me, she's tried. She needs just one creature, anyone at all, who's willing to stick by her side despite her anger and defensiveness. Prickly and irate on the outside, soft and sad on the inside. That is Cherish.

Dawn: obviously we need some mother-son time :33. But that was a given. I'm assuming that Dawn is gonna be super over-protective of Leo, though, he'll probably start doing the same for her at some point and never want to leave her side in case the lions do come for her or something >>. idk. did you have ideas?

Well...
Right now I'm working on a bio for a pretty-boy white Turkish Angora named Tyler. He is, as it happens, a huge buttface who thinks that he's entitled to special treatment because of his parents. His family was killed/disbanded by a dog in a yellow collar who he has sworn revenge..against.
Perhaps he could meet Saba and discover that he actually cares about someone other than his wonderful self?

For Dawn I have a wolf named Bricriu who could be her friend. I'm open to any other ideas.

Smiff: I will be posting the (long overdue) official birthing thread very soon. You, me, and Kitten will be involved in that one assuming Autumn is still attached to Dawn's hip. lol And I'm thinking that, because it should've happened so long ago, we can kinda start it out as kind of a flashback type of thing, then flash forward to the present. I think that's a good idea, let me know what you think.

Sor: That is a fantastic idea =) Let me know when you have Tyler's bio up and I'll take a look. It could turn out to be some sort of epic romance or something. Maybe he could be on the trail of that same dog and he finds the canine terrorizing poor Saba? Just a thought.

Mika: Bricriu is brilliant, and I think he and Dawn could be great friends. Perhaps Dawn could be out on a hunt and they inadvertently go for the same prey. There could be a slight scuffle but then they realize they could take down more if they work together? That might work. Lemme know what you think.

i had another idea while being half asleep on the plane... what if Leonardo became friends with a cat at some point? that could be interesting and there could be a little mother-son argument or something. idk... >>

I reckon Dawn and Rikki have to meet! (Arctic wolf party, yay! Maybe Hunter and her loner Vladmir could join in too?) I'm gonna post in the maternity board soon, (VERY soon), so she'll be pregnant with Gravity's cubs. He's also supposed to die sometime </3 D8 (when Tachi's not so busy), so they have/will have a lot in common.
