"Speech" Actions 'Thoughts'
Snow fell in thick white flakes from the heavens, dotting the gray brown pelt of the old wolfhound as he took long steps through the meadow. He needed to get away from all the others in Lexis and think, and keep his muscles warm by moving, otherwise, well some joints might stiffen up and then how embarrassing would it be to have to ask for help standing? He just kept his joints loose, only sleeping for a couple hours before pushing himself up to take a short walk around the outside of what Lexis called camp before settling back down. He was still getting to know the cats and dogs in Lexis, and felt rather alone, so his thought filled walks were rather comforting.
His large paws thumped against the snow covered grass, hearing them crunch beneath his weight. He shifted to sit awkwardly for a moment, lifting his front paw to chew out some of the snow that had packed between his toe pads before standing back up awkwardly, holding his right leg completely from the snowy ground. His walk was peaceful, he didn't want to fight with anyone, he didn't want to start an argument, he just wanted to live his life in peace and die in peace. He was old, he knew it was coming eventually, it was just a waiting game. He licked his shoulder for a moment, pausing to chew at the fur in the spot that was bothering him before brushing it off and starting to walk again. His paws were rather cold, his ears perked up for a moment before they fluttered back down and he lowered his head at the wind. He sneezed as snow found its way up his nostrils, shaking his head before sniffing and looking back up.
He limped his way toward a lone tree in the large meadow. He flopped down in the thinner layer of snow to take a break, sniffing around the base of the tree, hoping to find a meal nearby. When he was unlucky in his endeavors, he settled down to watch the snow fall, unaware of the steps that were approaching him. [/scrolly] | |

There was nothing in sight, but blinding whiteness from the snow as the sun reflected off of it. A black and white sibarian husky trudged through the snow, her paws trailing paw prints into the snow with a soft 'crunch' as each pad landed into the white cusioned snow. Her tail waged lazily behind her, as blue and brown eyes looked around the landscape for something to do. Her lean body dodged the trees as she made her way up to the top of the mountain.
Her bordum was getting the best of her when a little rabbit ran infront of her. When it ran by she hatled quickly, head snapping at the quick movement. Her adrenaline rising at the need of the chase, a loud bark escaped her as she pushed herself into a run. The bunny's ear's shot back, when it gave a backword glance its eyes widened as it took in the dog's form. The bunny screamed as it tried to go faster through the snow, trying to find a hole or sancuary of some sort. As if on cue the dog leapt in air and landed with its paws crushing down the rabbit, the pair tumbled in the snow, a ledge just a few feet away from them, not paying attention she grabbed the rabbit by the scruff and leapt without looking where she was going, but unfortunetly it was right off the ledge. Dropping the rabbit as she fell, her paws moving constently as if trying to stay in the air as long as she could.
She hit a lower ledge of the mountain and started to roll off the rest of the way, she was going faster and faster, her stomach flipped making her feel dizzy and nauziated. Until she hit something big, she jumped to her feet, only to fall to the ground again. After a couple of minutes on trying to get her vision back and her stomach to feel better, she found that she had ran into another dog. She looked at him apoligetically, "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to cause a hit and run." her voice sounding like bells.

Hephaestus stretched out under the tree, relaxing as the snow fell before his nose in a small drizzle. The wolfhound lifted his muzzle to inhale slowly before hearing the scuffling a bit up the cliff like hill. He lifted those floppy ears slightly, tilted his chin up and looked up curiously. That was, until he heard the rolling and was suddenly slammed into by a smaller form. The wind was knocked out of him and he scoffed out loudly, kicking his feet a little as he heaved and felt the figure move beside him. He shook his head and panted, steamy breaths puffing from his lips. He panted and licked his maw, glancing about for a moment before blinking and hearing the voice beside him. Long legs stuffed under him, and he squished himself to his backside. He braced himself up as he looked at the smaller husky.
“It is alright young one, but perhaps you should watch your footing when you're hunting next time. Next time, you couldn't be so lucky to bump into a soft old dog like me, and perhaps you'll meet a thorn bush instead.” He said casually as he shifted his lame leg to the side, squirming his backside to tilt a bit to the side. She was rather pretty with those bi colored eyes, and her voice was soft and calming. Comforting even. His tail thumped a couple times on the snowy ground and he stretched his legs out a little more. “But you're alright yes? Not hurt or beaten up from your fall my dear?” He said casually, his voice thick, heavy and deep with age, the white streaks in his fur and the frosting on his muzzle indicating his age.
