SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD IS GONNA ROLL ME
I AIN'T THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED
KOBI.
• Bengal • One and a Half Years • Loner •
• THE MIND •Kobi is a highly playful cat. He's childish, immature and astonishingly clumsy. Yes, he's a year old but he's still a big kit at heart. His immaturity can often make older cats intolerant of him. Most older felines consider him annoying, irritating and frustrating. He can easily get under other peoples feet and doesn't really understand the phrase 'personal space'. To him, everything's just one big game and everything in this world is his toy, including the animals that inhabit it. He can also let his curiosity let the better of him and he might end up living up to the phrase 'curiosity killed the cat'. His playful behavoir often lands him in to trouble and potential danger. Especially when he tries to act tough and bold infront of others.
Kobi is easily frightened. He's a very jumpy cat and can become quite paranoid when something negative happens to him. Loud noises are the things that scare him the most, suprisingly though, large canines don't scare him in the slightest. He just sees them as a big play thing. He's generally quite a friendly, outgoing cat who loves to make new companions. He hates the idea of having an enemy and will often run away from violence. He tends to think that words can solve everything. He'll happily playfight but when blood is shed, he doesn't want to have anything to do with it. If some one is to harm someone he considers a loved one, he'll do whatever he can to make sure he avenges them. He'll stand up to anyone that hurts him, or someone he loves.
Kobi doesn't really understand the whole concept of 'love'. To him, everyone is his friend, be it male or female. That doesn't mean he doesn't develop crushes on a female. When he does develop a crush though, he doesn't really understand it. He thinks it's just a weird feeling you get when you're around a female you friends with. He's young so doesn't really understand offspring either. To him they're just little cats that he can play with.
Despite his playful and care-free antics, he's eager to learn how to cope on the streets, also as his mentor can tolerate him. He's works on a 'monkey see, monkey do' policy, coping what larger cats do. Kobi is a hyper-active, energetic and optimistic cat who just never seems to get tired.
• THE BODY •Kobi is a very small cat, even though he's almost fully grown. He's slender though and his limbs and tail are quite long in comparison to his body. His paws are very small, making him extremely light too. He doesn't stand very tall, even with his long features. His ears are very large in proportion to his skull, along with his eyes. His eyes are a vibrant gold colour. His nose is small and his mouth appears to be too when it's closed. When it's open, however, it is actually quite large.
Kobi's fur is short and thin, meaning he is one of the first to feel the cold during the Winter. The majority of it is a sandy brown colour, getting paler on his underbelly and chest. It's dappled with darker spots, quite similar to that of a leopard or jaguar. Two or three dark stripes travel from the top of his head down to the tip of his tail where it finishes as a dark, almost black colour. The inside of Kobi's ears are pale pink and his nose is a salmon or coral colour.
• THE MEMORIES •Kobi's parents were born on the streets, even before the whole virus incident broke out. It's suprising really because a bengal is such a rare breed. Kobi was born to a litter of just two kittens, both were male. Kobi had never really known his father as he left shortly after discovering that his mother was pregnant with his kittens. His mother would always say he was a user and a loser. Kobi's mother did a good job of bringing up her two boys, managing to catch something atleast once every two or three days.
Nothing really that traumatising happened to this tom as a kit. He had a loving family and a fun brother. When he reached the age of one, Kobi was playing with his brother while his mother went off to find some food. He wandered off down a dark alley and as usual, his curiosity got the better of him. His brother refused to go with him as he was more of a mummy's boy but that didn't stop Kobi. He wandered down the alley and through a hole in a chain-link fence. What he didn't know was that there was a sleeping bulldog in that alley. Kobi being his typical clumsy self, he stumbled and hit the dog when he tripped. The dog woke up and chased the small cat back through the alley. His brother had gone off to find his mother, leaving Kobi to run from the dog alone.
Kobi had finally managed to tire out the dog but he did so on the opposite side of town. He got lost and couldn't find his mother or brother again. He's been roaming the streets of Hexasol alone every since, not knowing where his family was.
