Thoughts Actions
It had just been a simple walk. A simple... walk. That was it. Brooke hadn't gone out with any thoughts of starting a fight today - in fact she'd easily passed by several cats without doing much other than dipping her head to those that stared too long. But she had to admit, as she wandered aimlessly around the city of Hexasol, she began to grow more and more wary. So far, all she'd seen were the eyes of felines that littered the city streets - not one dog. Perhaps it was coincidental... but as she entered the quiet neighborhoods of Uptown Hexasol, Brooke began to grow even more uneasy. The hairs on her spine rose as she began to grow hyper vigilant, more alert to her surroundings. Yes, something was definitely amiss. But the last thing she had been expecting was for an ambush. Three felines suddenly slinked out of the shadows, lips curled up, claws unsheathed, intentions clear almost right away, "What do you want?" "You're the only one keeping this war going! If we kill you, we'll achieve peace!" one spat. Brooke immediately snarled in response. Had no one understood her at the peace gathering? Clearly not. But she wasn't about to defend her choice to protect her pack. It was felines just like this that she knew would take advantage of a truce. There was no such thing as real peace - not in this city. They all attacked simultaneously, and Brooke immediately leapt forward. The sound of flesh tearing and the smell of blood immediately filled the air as the four beings began to go at each other mercilessly. Hisses, barks, and yowls all echoed down the allies. Surely the noise would bring more attention to the area. Brooke could only pray that an ally approached rather than another enemy. This fight was already unfair. "Speech"
At this point, Hektor was already extremely tense. His arrival in this area was recent, and he didn't yet know his surroundings. He didn't even know of the areas packs yet, or the war. The one thing he did know was that felines were all over in this place. Luckily, he hadn't run into one yet, but their scents covered everything. Dog scents were around, too, but most were somewhat stale compared to the feline stench that coated the town. Hektor curled his lips in disgust. If the scents didn't outnumber him so much, he would be tracking the cats down right now.
But no, the large dog was a cat hater, but he wasn't stupid. He would only fight in a battle where he was outnumbered if it was completely necessary. He continued on his path through the shadowed alleyways between the large but somewhat dilapidated buildings. He kept his paw steps quiet, not wanting to alert any of those despicable beasts of his presence. The cat scents were mostly cold, but they were from the past 24 hours, and you never knew with those creatures. Suddenly, the sharp sound of a bark made him prick his ears. Listening closer, he heard the sounds of yowls and barks, the sure signs of a fight. Hektor didn't know the area, but it sounded like there were multiple cats and only one dog, so his mind was immediately set. The large male broke out into a run, adrenaline pumping through his veins.
Finally, he made it to the location of the battle. He stopped, quickly observing the situation before jumping in. A lone female dog was under attack by three felines, and another cat was coming around the corner at that very second. Hektor could not let this happen. Immediately, he charged into battle. A large cat lunged at the female dog, but was intercepted by Hektors tackle from the side. The cat had its breath knocked out of it, but Hektor would not give any mercy. A powerful bite aimed at the cats neck was all it took. The blood that filled the canines mouth only added to his fight. Maybe the thing wasn't dead, but it would be soon enough.
Hektor spun around, glancing at the dog momentarily before lunging at another cat, teeth bared and ready to kill.

Thoughts Actions
Just when it seemed that the tides were going to turn for the worst on the Mistress of the Tempest Pack, another dog came charging into one of her opponents, knocking the wind out of the cat before giving it a swift blow to the neck. She blinked once - his looks were unfamiliar, his fur carrying the scents of faraway lands. But she couldn't stop to wonder who he was, seeing as the cats were still hell bent on killing her - and now her new ally here. Letting out a battle cry, Brooke leapt at the remaining three cats, engaging with one right away, rolling and tumbling with it, using the momentum and her added weight to pin the creature to the ground. Without a second to waist, she pressed a paw down on the feline's windpipe, using all of her body strength to suffocate the animal slowly, "Leave with your friends!" she ordered. "Or I'll slit your throat!" She backed off the feline then, narrowing her eyes as he clamored to his feet and gasped for air. But he didn't even take a step before Brooke felt the other two cats claw at her backside. "And this is why I said war was inevitable! Fine! Consider yourself dogfood, scum!"Burning with fury and deep buried hatred, Brooke dropped to her side, slamming one of the cats on her back to the cement before rolling off, grabbing it by the head, and applying pressure until the cat's skull broke in her mouth. She threw the carcass away after that, twisting and grabbing the other stubborn feline off her flank by the tail. She figured the stranger would handle the last cat that she'd nearly choked to death. Brooke felt that oh-so-lovely feeling of bloodlust course through her body as she pinned her last opponent to the ground and pressed a paw between it's shoulderblades, "Beg." she ordered. "Beg for your life." The cat let out something of a screech at that, spluttering out words of apology. But Brooke wouldn't hear a word of it. She'd given the cats their chance to run. "Pathetic." And with that, she flipped the cat over and tore a fine line down its exposed belly, watching with cold eyes as its blood stained the pavement, the light leaving its eyes slowly. "How do you expect to achieve peace by attacking? You only make my hatred of you vile creatures deeper ingrained..." she spat at the feline as it took it's last breath. "Meet me again in hell if you want a rematch." [/blockquote][/div]

"Speech"
The cat Hektor had lunged for narrowly escaped having its leg severed by his jaws, but it wasn't out of the woods yet. His large paws landed on the cat, slamming it to the ground and pinning it down. He was about to kiill the trembling feline, but the other dog distracted him. Like him, she had a cat pinned down, but she was talking to the vile creature. She was giving the thing that just tried to kill her a chance! Hektor couldn't believe it. There had to be something deeper to this situation.
While he was distracted by the other dog, the cat in his paws slipped out and lunged at her. Hektor snapped out of it and tried to catch it, but those damn cats were quick. It was already clinging to the black canines back. As she fought off the escapee and another feline, Hektor turned to the other one, grabbing it and pinning it to the ground before it had the chance to get away. "You fool," he spoke, words dripping with venomous hatred. "You had your chance." With that, he grabbed the felines head and threw its body in the air, catching it around the ribs as it came back down. He felt its spine and ribs crush between his powerful jaws, and he dropped its mangled body to the ground. Blood bubbled around its lips as it let out a few coughs, and its round eyes quickly grew cold with death.
Hektor spun around just in time to see the female he had come to assist kill the last feline attacker. As the bloodlust left him, he heard her speak to the cat, and her words interested him. Peace? That could only mean one thing. There was a war in these lands. It would explain a lot in Hektors mind. If there was a war, he knew he would want to be part of it. He looked at the dog for a moment before finally speaking to her. "I am Hektor."

Some things would never change - sure, Brooke had seen enough days of war... but she would always hate cats.
They would always remind her of humans.
Curling her lip at the limp body, she spat at it before turning around to confront her adversary during the fight. He was a dog of strong build, and had clearly seen battle more than once. He seemed to share her own boiling hatred of the feline race. He would be an ideal Tempest member.
Hecktor - that was his name. Brooke gave an uncharacteristic little smile at the male, eyes glowing with both excitement and determination. She would recruit him today, "Hecktor... I am Brooke. Mistress of the Tempest Pack. Normally, I do not associate myself with... outsiders. But I suppose I owe you a debt of gratitude..." she trailed off, giving him an expectant look. He was a loner, surely, but one from far away lands. Far from the warring city of Hexasol. "What brings you to our battle-ridden lands?"
As she awaited his answer, she began to walk. The last thing she needed now was to meet more enemies - and the smell of blood would probably attract someone sooner or later. Still, it seemed a shame to leave the bodies here - if she had the opportunity, she might have gone and left them at the edge of Iris Pride territory. However, for now, she wanted to learn about this new figure, this... Hecktor fellow. "You seem to share my disdain of those foul creatures. Do you have a vendetta to settle with the species?"
