PERSONALITY |
Ignatius takes pride in worshipping the great Enrique, whom he firmly believes somewhere is still in existence. Trusting solely in his wit and his gut, he ensures that in most situations he only survives by the skin of his teeth. This being said, it can be told that Iggy likes the wild side of life, which is both enthralling and dangerous. It certainly makes him a lady-snatcher, because he's the type to throw himself in the face of danger with a smirk on his face. A trickster at heart, but not outrightly so, he's incredibly smart, but seemingly only about a few things. For example, he has no regard for self-preservation at all, and tends to get himself wormed into situations that could possibly prove hazardous to him. However, once he's in those situations, he finds it very easy to talk his way out. Riddles are his specialty, and he can speak circles around those who have a bone to pick with him until they forget whose bone they're supposed to be picking. This gift has been honed throughout his years, and he started out young and just kept running with it. He understands others very well and is able to pick up on social tendencies of those he knows. Because of this, he finds it easy to predict behavior of his friends and his enemies (he believes in the saying 'keep your friends close, but your enemies closer). He's an excellent strategist, which can be both helpful and frightening, depending on whose side you're on.
Iggy is not necessarily a people person, and that's why he's chosen to live life alone and not within the Tempest Pack. He finds it too burdening to have to worry about another's safety in addition to his. He likes to run wild and free and finds it incredibly distasteful to think of somebody else holding him down. This being said, it is incredibly hard for him to maintain any serious relationships unless it's with another with a similar lifestyle. Mostly he finds it easy to bond with rogue, devil-may-care males, and though he's unashamedly flirtatious with girls, he does not ever spend more than a few hours at a time with them. This earns him a mysterious reputation - he's certainly an enigma, popping in the scene when things get interesting and leaving in a state of cool virtuousness as a trail of fire burns in his wake. He is not certainly evil, and he has no bad intentions - heck, he hardly even has serious intentions. It's all about the fun and games for him, and whatever amuses him will direct his plans. He does not hold any real affiliation with any end of the spectrum, though he does rather detest anyone bigger than him. This is because he's a bit bony and leggy, not very substantial, and it makes him very angry when other larger fellows throw their weight around. He's a sensitive little bugger about his size, and even though he's rather tall because he's skinny, when a big, bulky creature comes around and cracks a joke about his legs, they'd better watch their back. Though Iggy does not have many friends, he has many friends, important ones he's collected over the years through various acts of charitable humor. Though he may seem alone, his intellect alone could punish you for one 'What color would your collar be? Lavender or pink?' joke.• likes | danger, humor, feeling like the one pulling the strings, fruit, skull and crossbones (he's seen the mark one some abandoned and run-down human facilities in Hexasol)
• dislikes | wet places, being outsmarted, feeling one step behind someone else, the color brown (it's too drab),
• goals | to collect some very powerful friends and become a respected and supreme underground no-one-really-can-pinpoint-who-he-is-or-where-he's-at overlord, but that's just wishful thinking
• fears | as stated above, being outsmarted is a very real fear for him. He likes to feel on top and one step ahead of everyone else.
• strengths | his intellect, his ability to understand others mentally, and his capacity for word-play
• weaknesses | he's too reckless, he has no regard for the safety of others, and he easily makes enemies because of his attitude
• mental disorders | n/a
APPEARANCE |
Like all of his race, Ignatius holds a rather fox-like appearance, which is characterized by his reddish coat and black legs and accents. He is unnaturally long and limber, with high, pointed withers that are painted black and a sloping back that give him a wiry, leggy quality. His tail is long bushy, and his ears are rather large, looking like satellites perched atop his narrow head. His appearance gives him a jester-like quality, and he's speedy as all get-out, though he can't maintain long distances very well. He's definitely lanky, and tall, standing one meter at the shoulder and weighing 20 kilograms. His lips are a charcoal color, and his eyes, almond-shaped, are of a dark brown, almost black, hue, and they glitter like beetle shells against his rust colored face. If one would touch his fur, they'd discover it was coarse but rather soft underneath, and that gives him a bit of a water-proof covering when the rains come. He's skinny, with narrow shoulders and a bony frame, and he looks like he could float away in the wind, when really he's not very fragile at all. He just looks dainty and delicate, which annoys him greatly, you can be assured. Perhaps that's why he's a bit on the testy side...• height | one meter at the shoulder

• eye colour | dark brown, almost black

HISTORY |
Iggy was raised with the constant feeling that he was doing exactly opposite of what his mother wished him to do. Kira loved him dearly, and found it difficult to raise him on her own since her mate, Baracelli, died. Iggy never knew his father, since he died while Kira was pregnant. Ignatius and Cassius came about two months after the incident, and Kira found it hard to look at them, because she only saw their father. Cassius was very serious, but he was the spitting image of Baracelli. Iggy was the dopy, crazy one who had Baracelli's dark eyes and his wicked grin. However, Kira's maternal love outlived her despair and she raised her sons with a hopeless longing: Cassius did exactly what he was told, but Iggy never grew accustomed to the quiet, loner lifestyle his mother held. He wanted to be in the action, but perhaps not right in it. He learned from an early age how to manipulate another using words, and he did so with Cassius. Poor Cassius was tormented by Ignatius, and they were constantly at odds with each other. As soon as they were old enough to be on their own, the brothers left and separated. Cassius, Iggy assumed, would go off to some boring place and live his boring life. Really, Iggy did not care. He had his own plans, and had no exact attachment to Cassius, which is why he finds it so hard to love another. He couldn't even come to love his own brother! Perhaps it was because Cassius was a self-righteous snot-rag, but that's only Iggy's personal opinion.
Wishing to be as far away from his dreary life as possible, he sought out Hexasol, where everything was happening and a war was brewing between canines and felines. He had strongly considered joining the Tempest Pack at one point, thinking that it would be good to be one of a number, but he realized his true calling was to be a loner, and so he stayed separated.

There was only so much a man could do. So much he could do. And then, when he had done what he could, when he had put up with all he could, what else was there but to leave? These thoughts bounced around in Ignatius's skull as he walked in the exact opposite direction his pompous brother had walked. Split between them was their mother, looking older and worn than she had in a wild. Her wide eyes, brimming with tears, were staring after each of them in turn, but Iggy knew all too well she was more saddened that dear little Cassius was leaving. This day had to come sometime, he thought savagely. They had both known they were too large to stay with Kira anymore, and tensions had been so high between the brothers it was only a matter of time. Perhaps Iggy could have cultivated a more explosive ending had he had more time to plan it out, but the day had just hit him in the face with the desire to up and leave, and he was having no trouble walking away. What was he leaving behind? Nothing. Sure, his mother, but what had Kira ever exactly done for him besides intensely favor his brother? That was his point exactly, and that was why he did not look back.
His strides were long. He was taller and thinner than Cassius and covered more ground quickly. Soon he was in the shelter of the trees and had blended into them. This land was an In-Between, as he called it - in between where he had been and where he wanted to go. He'd heard stories of Hexasol, sure, but he'd never actually been there, which was why that's exactly where he was going. Little Cassius, his older brother, was probably off to do some charity work for the needy. He snorted, his pace quickening. The wind pressed against his thin chest, and he threw his head upwards, adopting a regal stride. This was his life now - he had never felt so liberated. Hell, he'd never felt so free. He was in charge of his own destiny, however mucked up he wanted it to be. And he wanted it to be ugly. What was life without a little fun, without a little adventure? That wasn't a life to live, especially not for him. So what, he would get in a little trouble, skirt a little danger, stick his nose in some very important people's faces... He had it all planned out, because he was a strategist, and he was smart enough to know who to pick on. But before he could really start the fun, he needed to know the big dogs in Hexasol. That was what he was going to find out, and then he'd warp his actions to fit his own agenda.
Ignatius was of a cunning breed, and though he only worked for his amusement, a jester of sorts, he did not care about those he cut down as he went on his personal quest to be somebody. All his life he'd been nothing, he'd been second-best to Cassius, and now he had a chance to make a new, fresh start for himself in a city that was already on the tenterhooks of war. With one little push, he might start it all...
