”My what!?” her voice pitched slightly in an annoyed manner when Bear said she shouldn’t be hard on her boyfriend. She wasn’t close enough to snap him, but OH how she wanted to! Instead she shot him a death glare, hoping he would swallow his words right back into his throat, wishing he’d never said them. Unfortunately he didn’t seem to care much – they were siblings after all, so he’d seen that glare tons of times, not really seeing it as a threat anymore. Or just ignoring her… how unfair he was! Just because she wanted to spend time with Gusto… Apart from herself, Gusto looked like he was taking Bear’s words pretty easily. But how did he even feel about being involved in her and her brother’s moody matter?
At least her foul mood loosened up a little when Bear pretty much backed her up in her opinion of the trespasser. None of the young canines liked the black wolf who’d caused them some trouble – they were lucky that they hadn’t caught the attention of some guards with the little turmoil Lee had started. But for how long would they remain unseen? Antigone huffed the thought away. Even though the three Juveniles were up late at night, it wouldn’t be them who had the biggest problem if someone should find the four of them. ”You go up wake her yourself, blackie,“ she said mockingly with a soundless snarl on her lips, her patience with this one falling apart. ”I bet you wouldn’t dare because she would tear your heart out,” she concluded, watching her brother’s growing hostility toward their “guest”. And even though Gusto usually seemed to be a fine guy, he didn’t seem to be keen on being nice to the black canine either. Well, maybe it was good enough for Bear and her that this loner had crossed the pack’s borders – after their earlier tension with Gusto, it felt good having something in common again, especially when it was something where the coyote could join in. And right now their shared activity was the hatred toward blackie.
And when Lee turned around and acted as if he was in charge, Antigone immediately took the bait. How dared he to think he was the boss around here, on their territory!? You fool.Flying at him, the dual-toned akita mix growled deeply and she parted her jaws to snatch the black trespasser in the flank. She’d tried fighting several times before, so even though this Lee was both older and bigger than herself, she wasn’t scared off. If he really was as dangerous as he proclaimed to be, he could just bring it.

Alright, so he couldn't quite contain the childish giggle that fell from his maw as he heard Anti's exclamation from behind. He knew that had they been closer together, and not surrounded by Gusto and Lee there would most definitely of been a scuffle. Yet right now there most definitely more pressing issues to address, the most important of course was this little trespasser. Bear listened to the coyote's stern words and could not help but agree, nodding gruffly and flicked his tail in the Tempest member's direction. At least he's loyal The brindle dog raised his tail higher and barked lowly, "Yeah, emphasis on our territory Blackie." The three of them stood, more or less, in a line now and faced the uninvited guest as one. Bear was rewarded by the flattening of his ears and the curling of his lip, knowing that they had got to him one way or another. He wasn't so full of himself now was he, with the possibility of being chased off by juveniles his own age. Of course we're superior to this lone fool, what does he know about anything.
His seemingly confident words were scoffed by the male, and he rolled his eyes in an arrogant display of self-assurance. Bear had to admit however that there was a flicker of uncertainty when the wolf cub spoke of how he knew Brooke, and especially of how angry she'd be when woken. It was rapidly shaken off however by his inner voice, telling himself not to be bloody stupid. This black canine was bluffing, he was a loner that knew the reputation of the most famous canine pack in Hexasol's leader. Anybody could make a statement such as that, didn't mean it was true now did it. Bear growled again, his resentment for Leonardo fueled by his clear disrespect towards their Mistress, "Don't you speak of Brooke like that you dirty loner-scum." Snapping his jaws at the male, as Lee threw his departing words before turning and dashing off. At the exact same time, Antigone launched herself at the wolf with her teeth glinting in the moonlight.
The black male however had already begun to scamper off, no, he wouldn't get away with this one. Bear lunged forward and began to give chase to their intruder, keeping his eyes firmly locked on the Lee's fluffy tail, keeping pace with his sister now. Blood pumped excitedly, muscles worked overtime as they charged further from the Asylum and towards the cemetery that led towards the woods. The male lowered his head and put on a burst of speed, beginning to catch up with the wolf as he thundered past the gravestones. "Oi, you're mine now Blackie!" He barked viciously, sending out a chorus of chilling howls that ricocheted into the silent night air. Bear had never felt more proud to be Tempest, finally he was doing something productive and important. Not the guards or the adults, him! The yearling knew that he must not fail, or Antigone or Gusto for that matter.

He decided to ignore the exchange between the brother and sister to give the black wolf a look of contempt, this trespasser was more important than what Bear had to say. It was somewhat satisfying to see, what looked like, a hurt look appear on the wolf. But a moment later, the wolf's confidence seemed to have returned. This stranger actually had the balls to blatantly insult his leader.
He grew angrier and angrier with every word the wolf said, a deep growl could be heard, gradually getting louder. A picture suddenly appeared in his mind. Bear and Anti holding the wolf down while Gus cut him open and feasted on his insides, smiling as the wolf howled in pain. "You should be more worried about us. I'm gonna skin you alive." He said in a tone of voice that could send a chill down anyones spine. His lips were pulled back in a snarl, but it looked more like a toothy grin.
Gusto wasn't aware that he had said that at all, he didn't even know that he too had chased after the intruder until he saw Anti and Bear in the corners of his eyes. His full attention was on the retreating wolf, depending on his stamina to help him catch the wolf before he could even leave the pack's lands. Gus probably would have just let the wolf go with a slap on the wrist, so to speak. But, now that he had dared insult Gusto's idol, he wouldn't leave the wolf alone unless he lost a limb.
As the coyote ran, he didn't think that this could be what Lee wanted; he didn't think that this wolf could be setting some kind of trap for the coyote and dogs, Gusto's anger had clouded his better judgement.
He sped up an approached the side opposite of Bear, biting and snapping at Lee's tail and flank when he thought he was close enough. He wanted to stop Lee before he actually reached the forest.

Lee wasn't sure if he was thrilled or actually terrified at the way the three Tempest juveniles were chasing after him. Still, he refused to give up. He'd talk sense into them once they were on his turf. Lee was a good sweet talker, after all. Fighter, not so much. He could brawl, maybe. But against trained soldiers he stood no chance. He was small for his species and lacked technical skill - but Leonardo supposed he made up for his lack of actual strength with his stamina and speed. He'd been hunting for himself since he could eat meat, pretty much. He had to to survive. Especially after Dawn passed away.
Onwards he went, just barely avoiding snapping teeth at his tail and flank. A few times, he came dangerously close to actually taking damage as the rat race through Hexasol continued on. By the time he managed to reach the entrance to the forest outside the city boarders, Lee felt as though his heart was going to explode out of his chest. But no, he couldn't stop there. He continued to run, breath ragged and lungs begging for him to finally stop and rest, but he couldn't until they were at the heart of the wilderness. Then they'd have to listen to him.
But he had his doubts that they'd give him the light of day with how angry they were. This might've been a huge mistake, he thought as he finally skidded to a halt in front of his den. "Stop!" he exclaimed, "Take a look around you! If you want to ever get back to Tempest without getting eaten by a lion, tiger or bear, you better not lay a claw on me!"
He hoped that none of the juveniles were familiar with the night time forest. They probably weren't. He was putting his money down on it, anyway. Lee took a few deep breaths before putting on one of his charming, goofy grins, "See? We can get along. This is where I live. The forest. I can take you guys home if you just give me a chance. What's the problem now that we're off your boarders?"
He sat in the grass, running a paw over his nose, and continuing to speak nonchalantly as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened, "Let's start over, okay? I'm Leonardo, son of Dawn and Fenris... they were Scavengers that fought to protect your pack." he wondered now if they would understand that he was an ally, and not an enemy. His smile vanished after that though, his look growing more solemn as he continue to speak, "They might have even fought alongside your parents. My father died for the cause of your pack... I never even got to meet him. My mother didn't make it far after the battle before giving birth to me and my brothers and sisters here... In the roots under this tree..." He looked behind him at the den he still used. All the old familiar scents were gone now. Not even a trace of his mother was left, "My siblings were stillborn because my mother also fought to save your hides."
He let out a somewhat bitter huff at that before turning to look at each dog before him in turn, "And mother died shortly after I stopped drinking her milk. I thought perhaps I could find a friend in Tempest, the pack I lost everything to - but it seems like old ties were all severed with the death of my parents and I'm just left here to take the burden of your hatred for no good reason. Does that seem fair to you guys at all?"
He shook his head. Lee wasn't usually the type of guy to wear his heart on his sleeve. He hated talking about his miseries. But he wasn't sure how else to make the three of them understand.
He just wanted a friend.

Antigone was close, so close, but never got a bite of him as they raced through the streets. She never took hold of their surroundings, never thought about how far away Lee lured them from the Tempest Pack’s territory. All she could think about was to knock into him and tear in his long, shaggy fur. She wanted to teach him a lesson, that bastard! Her heart was pounding heavily in her chest and it became hard to keep up with the running wolf who apparently was in an extremely good shape. But she wouldn’t give up, never! She couldn’t just let him get away with this, this disrespect! Because that wasn’t at all how she normally acted…
The wolf suddenly skidded to a halt in front of a den and Antigone did all she could not to smash directly into him for a second time. How beautiful that would have been, insulting herself like that again. She panted wildly and looked frantically around her, suddenly realizing that she had absolutely no idea of where the heck they were. Oh no, what have I now gotten myself into? she thought, slightly panicking. How were they going to get back home from here? Where were they!? Leonardo’s words didn’t really sink into her mind, he just babbled in the distance as she looked around, trying to figure out what to do. She felt all hot after the run, but still a shiver ran down her spine. I know trouble when I see it. And this is trouble, big trouble, she thought. Her frustration then flared into anger, and now Leo was getting her full attention again. Sending him a hard glare, Antigone’s hackles rose as he continued to babble about his parents helping the Tempest Pack. Would he just stop it?!
”You’re a trespasser,” she grunted, not impressed with his speech at all. ”If you really want something else than sharpened canines from us, perhaps it was time to go join the pack instead of showering us in your little self-pity party,” she continued dryly with a sharp edge to her voice. She knew she was being unfair – snapping at him like this wasn’t nice. But what could she do? It wasn’t that she could change anything though she had to admit she felt sorry for him. And she refused to go all caring about him while Bear and Gusto were watching. Lee had been rude, why should she forgive him for such behavior just because his parents were dead? She hadn’t asked them to fight for Tempest, nothing of this was her fault, she’d just done her duty by chasing a trespasser away. And now they were stuck out here because of him!
((Antigone you bitch, I really don’t like her right now. Omg Smiff, got an idea – assaults you with PM!))
