Antigone had no intentions of sleeping when the little family settled peacefully for the night. She laid on her usual spot in their room, closest to her siblings just as always, but even though she was warmly cuddled up between her brothers Rech and Bear, something was still missing. Zara, their second big sister, had left the pack not long ago and even though Antigone understood her sister’s depression, she still didn’t understand why she’d left. Luckily she still had both her littermates, and the warmth from their bodies made it easy for Antigone to look relaxed; just as if she was asleep. She’d several times tried to sneak out in the nights because that was the time where she could do whatever she wanted without stupid adults interrupting, and she liked straying around in the night even though she knew her parents’ didn’t like it. When she’d been younger, her parents had often taken her in her bad little habit of sneaking out, but she’d gotten so good at it that they apparently thought she’d grown out of it.
She waited until everyone in her family seemed to be in a deep sleep. She especially listened after her parents’ breaths, because she knew that her brothers wouldn’t stop her in doing anything of mischief. She opened her dark eyes and scanned the black room in a few seconds to make her eyes adjust to the darkness. The moon was still new on the sky when she slowly rose to her four and silently went to the door which let out of her family’s room. She looked out in the corridor, no one there. No sounds at all but snoring canines. Good. The guards were outside, but for some odd reason, it was always her parents who were the hardest ones to avoid for Antigone. Standing in the doorway, Antigone suddenly got a great idea. Why not make some fun of the guards? A glint appeared in her eyes as she couldn’t wait to make fun of the guards. How fun it would be to show them that they weren’t doing their job properly.
But it wouldn’t be fun to do it alone. Being able to share the experience with someone would be great. Firstly she thought about Gusto, but he probably wouldn’t do something which would displease Brooke. No, she would have to do it with someone else. Besides, she didn’t even know where Gusto slept. But who else should she hang out with? Even though she’d lived in Tempest her entire life – a whole year – she hadn’t made any real friends. Feeling a bit heavy in her heart, she looked back at her family, all fast asleep in their perfect dreams. They were all she really got. Looking over the four bodies, the black and white yearling suddenly lighted up. Bear! Of course! Why hadn’t she thought about him a little sooner? He would be awesome to go exploring in the night with.
She went inside again and carefully went to stand by his side. Lowering her head, she nuzzled his cheek gently to wake him up. ”Bear, wake up. Come on, wake up!” she whispered while frequently looking over him to make sure that she didn’t wake any of their parents.

"Talk"
Bear snuggled deeper into the ragged warm duvet that covered the thin mattress upon the ground, that their family always used, as he slowly drifted deeper and deeper into dreamland. He could feel his brother and sister on either side of him, as well as his parents gentle breathing adjacent to the trio. The brindle male shifted slightly as he felt Rech's hind leg jerk in his sleep, the black yearling was always the first to drop off it seemed. Just as the juvenile was nodding off, he heard the mattress springs move and he wearily blinked one brown eye open. Bear studied his black and white sister blankly, his mind still hazy, as she padded towards the door. Antigone halted in the entrance, glancing from left to right before nodding ever so slightly as though she were pleased. By this time, her brother had woken up slightly and his curiosity was beginning to burn. The mottled brown pup licked his lips a little though remained very still, so as not to wake his parents.
Bear blinked as he saw his female sibling turn and approach him very quietly, lean down and whisper into his long pricked ear. The brindle mutt almost scoffed though caught himself at the very last moment! He lifted his long muzzle and tossed his head inaudibly, hissing lowly, "I'm already awake, you noob!" Those who knew the youngster well, were very aware of his poor names and comebacks, despite his notion that he was incredible at them. Despite his original nonchalance, Bear could not help but be interested and excited at what Antigone was doing at this late hour? He knew she was a fan of sneaking off at night but she rarely asked anyone to accompany her! The yearling glanced nervously over at his parents, particularly his mother. Nikita was well known for her terrible temper when awoken, especially by naughty kids that refused to sleep. Silently, the brindle youth lifted himself from the warmth and crept across the cold floor.
He stood at the entrance, assuming Antigone was beside him and smiled. How exciting, they could literally do whatever they wanted now! No annoying, bossy adults trying to tell them where to go, what to do and say and how to behave. Yeeha! Bear glanced over at his sister and bumped her shoulder playfully, before glancing back over at his sleeping family. A frown crossed his forehead and the juvenile whispered into Anti's ear, "Hey, what about Rech?" Though he could be loud, overpowering and annoying, the dark male was their brother all the same and Bear knew that Rech would be less than pleased to know his siblings had gone off on an adventure without him. Plus, since Zara had parted ways with Tempest the three had subconsciously grown closer. It was when Bear imagined one of his triplets, Antigone or Rech being captured by Iris, that he understood a fraction of what Zara was going through. Of course, they all loved Estelle dearly but the two sisters were twins. They had shared their mothers' womb together, they were inseparable. Just like these three.

Gus was the type of canine that always had energy to spare; it was no surprise at all to the young delusional coyote that he wasn't able to sleep when the pack settled down for the night. He shared a room with two older canines he was acquainted with. He turned his head slightly to look at them with wide open eyes. He would have thought they were dead, if it wasn't for the slow rising and falling of their bellies.
For the second time that night, Gus closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. For the second time he failed, because he was too busy thinking of what he could be doing at that moment. There had to be some dogs up guarding the packs' borders right? Maybe he could go and help them? He was still in training to be a soldier though, he probably wasn't quite ready for that task.
Gus slowly rose from the mattress so he wouldn't end up waking his two companions. He could at least try and see if he was able to help guard the pack while everyone slept, it would be better than, possibly, staying awake all night and doing nothing.
While making as little noise as he possibly could, Gusto carefully dropped down onto the floor and slowly walked toward the door. He stopped halfway toward the door when he heard someone walking down the halls of the asylum. Cats trying to steal food again? No, that thought left his mind instantly once he realized the sound he was hearing was nails on hard ground. Did lone canines sneak into the packs' territory too?
Gus moved next to the door, he wouldn't be easily seen there and he could see if there really was an intruder here. Once the sound was close enough to his room, Gus stepped out and glared at the figure in front of him. A confused expression appeared on his face once he realized the 'intruder' was only Antigone. "Antigone? What are you doing?" He asked in a soft voice.
(Hope you don't mind if I put him here)

Antigone wagged her tail as Bear responded. Not everyone got to call her names without getting their ears tugged off, but Bear was her brother, and they could pretty much all each other everything they wanted without getting mad at one another. ”Then get up you moron,” she whispered with a grin, still surprised that he was awake already. She’d been so sure that he’d been asleep! He watched him as he rose to his four and followed him, still wagging, to the door. This would for sure be an exciting night! How she couldn’t wait to giggle at the stupid faces of the guards when they made fun of them! Bear bumped her shoulder in a playful manner and she flashed her teeth in a grin of knowing that he was just as excited as she.
But her tail stopped moving when her brother mentioned Rech. Why hadn’t she thought about him? They were after all littermates and with both Estelle and Zara gone, the three of them needed to stand together, stronger as ever. She looked over her shoulder at her black, sleeping brother. Bear was right, they probably needed to get Rech with them as well, but a sudden snort from their sleeping father changed her mind. ”There’s no time. Come on, we’ll take him along on our next adventure!” She whispered, looking back at Bear. She trotted out in the corridor and made a gesture to Bear with her head, daring him to follow her. Then she trotted out the door and down the corridor as silently as she could, ears alert, trying to take in other noises. But she couldn’t hear any canines walking in the corridor – only canines sleeping peacefully in their rooms. Awesome!
But Antigone hadn’t suspected that someone was waiting for their approach. When a dark shadow suddenly stepped out of one of the rooms, Antigone gasped as she suddenly stopped up, trying to hold back the surprised scream which almost had emerged from her throat. ”G-Gusto!” she half stuttered as the creature before her took form as the male coyote she’d met not long ago. What was he doing here at this hour? Not that her and Bear were much better themselves… And even though Gusto’s question was the most obvious of all, Antigone had no idea of what she was supposed to say. ”Uhm we’re… we’re… We just,” she looked at Bear for a second as if to get some help. ”We just couldn’t sleep,” she concluded, no very convincing at all. Damn it, how could they so unfortunate? She knew Gusto was all crazy about Brooke so how would he react if he found out they were about to make fun of the guards? Gusto was a nice buddy, not one of those stupid mutts that bullied her, so the thought about being on bad terms with him gave her a bad feeling.

He grinned cheekily at his Antigone, his tail silently bashing the air profusely. A surge of exhilaration flushed through the yearling's veins, this was literally his dream idea of fun. Adventure, rebellion, mischief. Not to mention he was alongside his sister, who had nearly the same mindset as himself. She wasn't like some of the snooty, boring little girls that preferred to sit around and look pretty. Oh no, Antigone could easily have been mistaken as one of the boys! She knew how to live life the real way. Bear knew that even if he lost every friend in the world, he would always have his siblings to support him. Though of course the brindle akita mix wouldn't ever admit his great love for his family, that would just be embarrassing. He glanced over his shoulder as the black and white female did so, flinching slightly as he heard his father shift slightly too. If his parents did wake, all Hell would break loose. He nodded, "Agreed, let's go!" He padded quietly down the corridor, glancing left and right to ensure they weren't being followed. Bear kept his muzzle low, partly to avoid eye contact with his sister for a moment whilst he regained his composure. The thought of been caught by Brooke or his parents made his blood run cold, and to hide the creeping fear he sniffed the ground as if he were checking for recent scents. Pull yourself together. It seemed however they were completely alone, they trotted past several rooms to find nothing but the quiet breathing of multiple canines. The moonlight shone down upon the asylum, casting eerie silver shadows across their path. It must be a full moon or something, it's so bright! The youth half wished it had been a little darker, at least then the pair of them could have blended into the night better. If a guard glanced down the hallway, the two youngsters would be spotted immediately. Suddenly a shadowy figure stepped out into the moonlight, and the siblings skidded to a sharp halt. Bear let out a stifled ''What the bark?" He drew back his head, his hackles bristling with hostility and he moved to step in front of his sister. The brindle male knew Antigone would be less than pleased, she could hold her own but instinct drove him to so in any case. His sighed with relief when the Coyote spoke in hushed tones, addressing the dual-toned female; clearing they were acquaintances, friends even. Jealousy pierced Bear's heart like a thorn and his brown eyes narrowed into slits. The juvenile glared at the Tempest wild canine, his tail raised upright despite his sister's voice sounding beside him. "What's it to you anyway, pal? I didn't realise you were Tempest's Warden." He smirked, mockery dancing in his dark brown eyes. Bear knew he was playing with fire, he understood that this coyote could turn around and trot off to Brooke or Hueso at any moment. So one would naturally ask the question, why was he antagonizing this Gusto? Well, I suppose it was the brindle mutt's pride. Nobody questioned him or his sister, if they wanted to go for a midnight exploration then dammit they would. Leave off you mongrel, go on, back to bed. Not to mention he was slightly peeved at the fact Gusto had spoken only to Antigone, completely ignoring Bear's presence! How dare he talk to his sister anyway, did he think he could just stroll up and start chatting to her. No, not when her brother was around, oh hell no. She wasn't interested anyway, she wasn't into boyfriends and all that. Right? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ooc ;; Such a pleasant boy XD I guess that's brotherly protectiveness for ya'! ”Uhm we’re… we’re… We just,”
He tilted his head slightly as Antigone seemed to struggle to speak. From the corner of his eye Gus could see that her companion didn't seem too happy with Gus speaking to Antigone.
”We just couldn’t sleep,”
She didn't sound too confident when she said that, nor did it sound too convincing. He didn't think much about it since, that's exactly why he was up as well. "Oh, neither could I actually." Immediately after, the male spoke up, confirming his suspicions that he was angry at something.
"What's it to you anyway, pal? I didn't realise you were Tempest's Warden."
He only scowled at first. 'Another troublesome dog.' He had dealt with many canines just like him, most of which are in his old pack. Gus would usually just try to ignore them. The only reason Gus hadn't spoken to him is because he had no idea of who he was.
"I never said I was. Anyone else would ask the same question." He said, once again in a calm hushed tone. He looked to Antigone again, since her friend didn't seem to like him, he thought that he could still get along better with his female friend. His expression was a bit more cheerful when he spoke.
"So, were are you two going? Can I come?" Before actually waiting for an answer he turned and quickly yet silently made his way down the hall. "Come on, hurry up." He called to them over his shoulder with a smile. Anything would be okay with him. Having to do something would, to Gus, be better than laying around and waiting for morning.

Lee was never good at falling asleep either.... and it was on nights like these, where he tossed and turned in his lonesome den in the suburbs of of Hexasol, that crazy, stupid ideas came to him. Crazy, stupid ideas like invading Tempest territories yet again. How many times had he gotten in trouble for just that? He'd lost count, but Lee always found the thrill of breaking the rules fun... so long as he wasn't in any real danger anyway. He hadn't yet braved Iris's boarders, but perhaps one day he'd be daring enough to stir up trouble there too.
With that usual little smirk on his face, he trotted over the scent markers and into the Cemetery. Now what could he do that he'd never done before? The answer came to him when he noticed a pile of leaves next to a mud puddle. Eyes alight with mischief, the melanistic arctic wolf jumped into the dampened earth and saturated his fur with the sticky substance before jumping into the pile of leaves with a crackle!
He was going to scare the shit out of someone tonight.
Unable to contain an evil cackle, Leonardo made his way over to the Asylum. Now that he was full grown, he could make adult noises. His growls no longer sounded like those of a pup, but of an adult. He could act menacing! Now it was just time to find the right suckers to sneak up on. He waited in the shadows, the mud drying to his fur and madding it to clumps, the leaves and twigs sticking off him like he was some big, plant monster.
"Come to me, my pets," he whispered to himself. He was prepared to wait all night for someone to walk out that door if he had to... but as it turned out, the three young canines making their way down the Asylum stairs would be here very, very soon.

She wasn’t sure what was troubling Bear to stand beside her as if he wanted to protect her. Okay, maybe they’d both been a bit shocked at Gusto’s sudden appearance from the shadows. But she wasn’t scared any longer! Her confident thought shrank in though when Bear’s comment shot in Gusto’s face. What was wrong with him!? Normally Antigone would snicker at his witty comments, but this time she just wished he would shut. Up. And her brother’s stance in front of the coyote didn’t make her feel any better – his somewhat arrogant behaviour just made her feel awkward and she hoped Gusto wouldn’t take it too personally. It wasn’t like she would want trouble with her only friend… Oh hey, when have you started to be this sensitive!? she thought angrily to herself. Normally she just thought it was others’ problem if they didn’t like Bear and his offensive comments, but right now it was almost the other way around. Couldn’t he just try to… STOP this rivalish behaviour?
Gusto’s reply was luckily not too embarrassing. Lucky thing he didn’t have the same temper as her and Bear because THEN there would have been trouble and they would for sure had been seen by someone. Trying to get off the topic, Antigone chose to open her mouth. ”This is my brother, Bear,” she introduced and wanted to bury herself. Surely, with her determination, it had to be possible to dig a hole big enough for her so she could hide from her own stupidity. Of all things in the world, she couldn’t sound like anything but stupid. And as Gusto asked where they were going and if he could come with them, things just seemed to get even worse. What should she say? Bear and her were out for trouble, probably not anything Gusto would like doing in his spare time, but how could she say no to him? Since WHEN have you started to grow all soft to an angelface? She could scream of her own girlish behaviour. It was probably the best for all of them if Bear just scared Gusto away. She could always excuse his rude behaviour later… Antigone what are you thinking, Bear is your brother!?
A surprised look shot over her face as Gusto started to venture down the hall, telling them to follow. She looked at her brother shortly, not sure if he wanted to go. Smiling at him she bumped his shoulder with her own and set into a run after Gusto. Maybe they could teach Gusto to loosen up, see that would be awesome! She raced down the hall, nails clicking on the floor, not really caring anymore. Besides they had left the chambers behind them so there was only a tiny chance that anyone at all would hear them. ”I’m gonna get out before you guys!” she laughed and sped up, running out of the door in no time. But as she came out of the door, a huge monster waited just outside the entrance. With the speed Antigone had, she skidded in the mud, fell and tumbled right in the direction of the monster which she’d tried to avoid. Things just couldn't come out worse for her right now, could they?

The strong brindle yearling frowned at Gusto, especially as he addressed his sister. Bear was ridiculously protective of his sister, maybe because he wasn't able to be over Rech. His black brother would have cuffed him over the ear, showing him up as the weaker sibling. Yet with Antigone, he had chance to unveil the fact he was the bravest and strongest of the three. In his own eyes at least. Of course Antigone was just as reckless and determined as her brothers, if not more but Bear knew he had some sort of duty to look after her. It would be on his head if she got hurt, and this was one of his excuses for his snappy behaviour. That and jealousy. Since when did she make friends without him, huh, that wasn't fair at all and she hadn't even mentioned this coyote to either of them. The juvenile threw a small scowl in her direction, the tip of his tail twitching irritably. What other secrets was his sister hiding?
Bear was distracted from his probing, accusatory thoughts by Gusto's sharp yet quiet voice. "Oh so-ree, smartass. " He grumbled, narrowing his brown eyes but what riled the yearling further was the way he grinned at Antigone as though they were the bestest of friends or .. more. The brindle shepherd mix reeled back his head, eyes wide and an eyebrow raised in complete indignation. He ignored the coyote's question, in fact it went in one ear and out of the other. Why? Oh, just because his tomboyish sister was bloody flustered! Sweet baby jesus, no. No way does Antigone fancy this mug. He stared at his sister who looked as though she was going through some kind of mental turmoil, and blinked. What the Hell, Antigone seemed incredibly embarrassed.. she was acting so strangely and quite frankly Bear was freaked out.
Her voice sounded very different, at least from her twin brother's point of view. Bear knew Antigone like the back of her hand and something was most definitely up with her. When Gusto suggested they follow him, the brindle male scoffed under his breath and rolled his eyes. Antigone and he didn't worked alone, they certainly didn't anybody invading their sibling games, right? He glanced over at his dual-toned sister, but the arrogant smirk that he wore was almost immediately wiped clean off his muzzle by the sight he was greeted with. The youth's jaw dropped when he saw the dazzling smile upon his sister's face, as though she had just been serenaded by a devilish Casanova. Bear frowned deeply at her, and his hackles rose subconsciously as she bumped his shoulder. "Wait- Antigone, what are you doing?" Yet his sister didn't seem to hear his infuriated, confused sentence for she had fled after Gusto.
A dark mutter tumbled from Bear's maw, "That's right, run after your boyfriend." He growled in disbelief, for never had he thought he'd see the day when Antigone started aimlessly chasing boys, especially ones as pompous as that pup. "Why is she acting like such a - a .. girl!?" His mood officially soured, the young male contemplated turning back and slumping back to bed with his brother. He grumbled inaudibly, glancing once more up the darkened hall before turning around. That was until he heard a muffled gasp, a splash and a collision of bodies. Bear snarled, and bolted in the direction of his sister and Gusto. His muscles powered him forward, jaws stretched out and ready to snap the tendons of that bastardly coyote. If he had laid a single claw on Antigone, he would rue the very day he was born.
"Hey-" Yet the brindle akita didn't get the chance to finish off his words, for as he darted full speed out of the entrance he smashed straight into two bodies. What the fuck? His legs were blocked and so he somersaulted straight into the mud, where he lay for a moment whilst he caught his breath. Bear lifted his head, snarling, cursing and puffing with vehemence. He caught sight of a lean, young wolf entangled with Antigone with Gusto nearby. Anger flared in his chest, was this some kind of joke to catch him out? "Will someone explain to me what the Hell is going on here?" The male spat furiously.

Gus really didn't mind the males', who was apparently Anti's brother, rude behavior. In fact, he couldn't help but allow a small, yet somewhat sad, smile spread across his lips. Bear reminded Gus of his sister, Lyra, and how she would often defend him from the wolves that would make fun of him for claiming he wasn't a coyote. If she was here now though, that situation would end much differently. All three of the young canines would be caught and Bear, as well as Lyra, would most likely walk away with scars.
It wasn't because of fear or anything, but he didn't want to make an enemy out of Bear. He thought he had enough enemies already. But then, they both would probably turn on him, just like everyone else, when he mentions that he's actually a runt wolf and not a coyote.
Gus felt saddened, and a little guilty, that Bear didn't seem to want to join his sister anymore. 'Maybe I should have said something?' He was snapped out of his thoughts at the sight of his friend ahead of him and taunting him. Gus smiled as he tried to catch up to her without making too much noise. Maybe he and Bear could meet again after this, and hopefully he won't be too angry with him.
He was snapped out of his thoughts once again at the sight of Antigone stumbling into the mud, and stopping in front of a strange creature. His hackles rose as he stared and growled at the creature as he got a good look at it. He couldn't tell if he was part of the pack or not, but after a moment of staring at the strange 'creature' he realized it was a canine covered in mud and leaves.
He stood next to Anti and her brother when he came running out of the door and landed in the mud also. "Are you both alright?" He asked before turning his attention back to the ridiculous looking stranger. "Your guess is as good as mine." He said baring his fangs at the stranger. "Who the hell are you?"

His eyes were wide with excitement as he heard footsteps come closer and closer to where he was standing. Lee, however, didn't expect Antigone to come running... right into him. Tumbling into the mud once again, he felt a little winded. Crap! This wasn't supposed to happen! He was supposed to scare them not get flattened like a pancake!
But before he could push female off him, yet another dog came charging out the asylum again... and landed in a heap with the two of them. "I know I'm irresistible but this is a little ridiculous," he mumbled as he finally managed to get to his feet. He took a moment to look over his three "victims" if he could even call them that anymore before dropping into a lazy fighting stance. It was all play, of course, "What's going on here? I'll tell you what's going on, my pets! I am the mud monster, and I'm going to drag you to the depths of the earth!"
He let out something of an evil cackle, but was cut clean off by Gusto, who immediately went on the defense. Leonardo made a sour face and huffed, "Well you're not any fun! Calm down Captain, I'm not rocking the boat or anything!"" He let out an exasperated sigh, noting how young everyone in this little ragtag group was. He tilted his head. What would a bunch of juveniles be doing out this late? Probably trouble... and Lee loved trouble... "I'm Lee, son of Dawn and Fenris," he explained. "I'm a friend. I swear. I just was trying to pull a little prank."
Lee offered them all a big, stupid grin, as if he could charm their frustration away, but it probably only would make them more pissed off in retrospect. Oh well. They'd have to deal. "Who're you? What're you all up to? Can I come?"

”That’s it! Stop it! Go a-WAY!” she growled as she tried to get herself out of the mess she’d been caught up in. Colliding with the monster made her realize that it was nothing but a strange, black wolf probably about her own age. Just as she thought she was getting off him, Bear collided with him, making an even bigger mess out of things than they were already. Well that’s just… perfect! Feeling her blood boiling at the situation, Antigone growled at the black wolf. ”Oh you big boy. Why don’t you get on top of me and show me yourgodly irresistibility, huh? I dare you,” she huffed angrily at his comment and was relieved when she finally managed to get away from him. Barring her teeth in irritation – as much as humiliation of her own clumsiness – she focused on the stranger how now was the centre of everything. ”I’m fine,” she said to Gusto while still looking at the wolf’s black frame, her voice having a sharper edge to it than she intended. It wasn’t Gusto’s fault she’d darted right into the stranger… how stupid she must’ve looked. How dared he to stand right where she was running anyway!?
Shaking her fur to get just a bit of all the mud off her, Antigone unwillingly listened to the wolf’s little speech. When some facts finally were dragged out from the male’s throat, Antigone huffed angrily again. ”Never heard of these… Drawn and Felir… blackie, you better just leave. Shouldn’t have any guards biting your pretty head off should we? Though I suppose you ain’t using it much,” she said with a dark chuckle at her last words. She wasn’t afraid of the big bad wolf, at least not while Bear and Gusto were at her side. The three of them would have no problem against the wolf. Besides, they were on the pack’s territory. Who knew when the guards would come to throw him out?… and throw the juveniles to bed… Not impressed with his huge grin, Antigone looked at Bear and Gusto in turn. ”What do you think we should do to him? He’s a trespasser, a-not-invited-guest for our fun-” she looked at Leonardo, continuing. ”-what makes you think anyway that something like you should be allowed to go with us,” she asked, a mocking smile creeping over her lips and a glint in her dark eyes which matched it.

Bear scowled in anger as he glared at the three canines that stood before him, even at his sister who had decided this Gusto chap was more fun than her own brother. The brindle akita mix lifted his muzzle and ground his jaws, whilst he waited for an answer with bristling hackles. His black and white sister also clambered to her feet, prying herself from the stranger and snarling at them both furiously. A shooting glance in Antigone's direction told Bear that she was just as peeved as he was, nobody wanted to have the air punched out of your stomach but some foolish prankster. That was his job to play on other people, it didn't work two ways for the young Tempest male. Gusto piped up and the dog nodded curtly at him, whilst his sibling snapped at him a little harshly. Bear smirked at her like any brother or sister would, "Don't be mean to your boyfriend, Anti." He was probably going to get an absolute earful now, that or a sharp bite somewhere. Well he saw it was payback for choosing Gusto over himself.
Hard brown eyes turned now and studied the young black wolf that had caused all this commotion. Bear growled at his attempted humor, and raised his tail in clear definite hostility. It struck the brindle shepherd cross then that this weirdo was not Tempest at all, and from his scent not Lexis either so he must be a loner. A loner on Tempest Pack territory was asking for it, especially since he obviously had no intention on visiting Brooke and asking for permission. The large brindle male peeled back his lips in aggression, how dare he set foot on our land, and Bear could suddenly feel the adrenalin pumping throughout his body. What if they attacked him, he had never felt flesh sinking beneath his long fangs before! A gutteral snarl ripped from his throat and he took a step closer, head low and tail raised. The wolf introduced himself, Lee? Bear didn't care and apparently neither did Antigone. No loner was allowed to just wander through Tempest and get away with it, oh boy he was in trouble now. "Never mind the guards, I'll bite it off for you instead." He chuckled darkly, a sneer crossing his lips.
Bear glanced backwards over his shoulder as his sister spoke, smirking at her words, before turning to glare back at Leonardo. "You don't belong on our territory, loser, how about a game of tag? You run as fast as you can before we rip that smug grin off of your face. Literally." His tail wagged side to side in a creepy, sardonic manner.

He was slightly worried at the sharp tone in Anti's voice when she spoke. Maybe she was just embarrassed about falling into the mud and tripping over the stranger. He figured that Antigone was just a short tempered canine, so he didn't think much of it. Bear did seem to take it the wrong way.
Don't be mean to your boyfriend, Anti.
Gus resisted the urge to roll his eyes and sent the dog a confused look. What if the pack's territory was on fire right now? Would Bear choose to mock his pack mates then? 'Seriously, what is his problem?' He thought as he sent a confused glance at Bear. This was probably a family matter, so Gus would stay out of it. Unless Bear wanted to try and drag him into it too. Once again he turned his full attention to the lone wolf as he introduced himself. His opinion of the black wolf was: he wasn't dangerous, he was just an idiot.
What's going on here? I'll tell you what's going on, my pets! I am the mud monster, and I'm going to drag you to the depths of the earth!
"You can stop now, we already know what you are." He said in a deadpan tone of voice. "Weather you were pulling a prank or not, it doesn't change the fact that you stupidly walked onto our territory."
He stayed silent as he glared at Lee. He really didn't think he had to say anything, Anti and Bear had made it obvious that the loner wasn't wanted here.
He had no intention of showing kindness to this wolf. Even if he was trying to play a harmless prank, it didn't change the fact that he was trespassing. He wouldn't let this stranger just leave and think he could come and go as he pleased. If he didn't run fast enough, this Lee would have wounds to remember Gus by.

Lee's ears flattened to his head as each of the dogs before him, in turn, rejected his very presence, one went as far to call him inferior for not being part of the pack. Well what the hell did they know?! He hated to admit that it stung. It stung a lot. Lip curling just slightly in response to them, he let out a snort of contempt, "Y'all need to loosen up! Brooke doesn't care that I'm here. Go ask her yourself if ya don't believe me! Then again, I'd be scared to wake up that grumpy ol' hag at this hour! I hear she's practically a demon when mad. Bet she'd rip your lil' hearts out before any of you got to be real soldiers!"
He knew he was asking for it now, but that same, cool smirk just stayed on his face as he shook out his pelt. He wondered if any of them would actually have the gull to attack him, wake up the pack, and send a mob chasing him out of the territory. Somehow, he doubted it. Besides, Brooke wouldn't really let him get mauled, right? A flicker of doubt washed over him. Perhaps now that the battle with the Scavengers was long gone, people had forgotten the importance of his parents and their sacrifice.
Dawn had wanted to raise him and his big brother Autumn away from the packs only so that they could know some semblance of what peace was like. Something like that. But maybe that had been a bad idea. She had died not too long after his birth - of a broken heart, Lee presumed - but he had no one now. Autumn was his own dog and could take care of himself. Lee was only just out of puphood and could only do so much living alone. He could hunt, he could fight if he needed to, he could run like the wind if fighting didn't work out - but he was lonely. He thought maybe... maybe there would be a dog or two here that he could get along with, but perhaps he was wrong.
"Whatever, I'm ditching this sausagefest!" he announced, turning his back to the three dogs and raising his tail mockingly, pretending he was in charge. "You three lame-asses couldn't catch me even if you ran like a cheetah." He wondered if they'd take the bait and actually give chase. He wanted them to. He was going to lead them far out of Tempest territory and to the woods - his turf - and then they'd have a real adventure among them. He doubted the three of them knew much of Hexasol, especially during the night. They'd get lost - then they'd have to rely on them. Force was the only way he could achieve friends, it seemed.
