De watched the other dogs talk and smiled at the Saluki's name. Amberlyn. De liked it but she wasn't going to interrupt to say that. It was then that she heard the male speak to her. She smiled, she always apologized. She nooded to agree and then watched the male eat the moss. De couldn't stand the smell of the moss, nevermind how gross it must taste. Toretto's reaction just proved De's point. Ew. Toretto seemed to hate it as much as De's nose did.
Toretto said he wanted to sleep and De knew it would help him. He went to lie in some flowers and then quickly changed course. De smirked, the flowers must be unsymmetrical. She looked at the tree he went under and smiled. I wonder if he will notice that the tree is unsymmetrical. She kept the thought to herself as she watched him curl up under the tree. That left De with the two females, Delilah, and Amberlyn. She was unsure of what to say or even how to start a conversation. Her mind began to drift and began calculations. She didn't stop it, it allowed her time to think while the females thought of something, anything to talk about. She continued to calculate and closed her eyes as thoughts ran through her mind. She quickly opened her eyes and smiled.
So what brings both of you here? De asked curiously. She was always curious, always. She saw birds overhead and listened to their songs. They were cute little blue birds and had cute songs. She smiled and let the songs run through her head happily. She was beginning to enjoy this land. Flowers of all sorts scattered the grassy ground that she sat on. Trees border the meadow on one side, and birds flew overhead. It was if someone had painted the meadow, made it into a nice picture with millions of flowers coloured in every colour imaginable. She loved it and knew that pups would love it too. She looked at the land and pictured her and her brothers running through the grass and flowers. They were carefree and happy. Even her mother was running with them. De felt like crying...she hadn't thought of her mother in ages. She swore she could smell her mother at times but she was probably going insane, completely insane. She hoped not. She didn't want to end up like Toretto. It was then that De remembered she was with others and she quickly snapped out of her daydream.

'My name is Badeya. Everyone calls me De.'
A smile caressed Delilah's soft white lips as the female spoke up, she dipped her head in a friendly gesture towards her. ' It's a pleasure to meet you, De ' The Kuvasz stated with enthusiasm. Once more a femiine voice fluttered through the air and she twirled around to meet the face of yet another female, Delilah smiled and watched as the female parted her lips to speak.
"My name is Amberlyn, but feel free to call me Amber. It really is great to meet you all, I'm just sorry it had to be under these circumstances."
' It's a pleasure, Amber ' She stated as her thick white tail coiled around her back side, running up along until it rested against her flank. Ears twitched as Amber spoke of circumstances, there was a roll of Delilah's shoulders that signified a shrug. This was something the female had gotten used to, her mother was an ill dog, with a mental disease that probably killed her by now. Delilah didn't bother to speak up and tell about her stories, it was something she wanted to put in her past. But every time she looked at Toretto she couldn't help but have pity on him.
"I'd feel rude for leaving the three of you.... but a sleep, it does sound tempting. I'll just go and sleep over here."
Delilah watched carefully as the Toretto ran off towards a tree, his seemed to stumble over his own paws in the process before laying down in a patch of flowers under the tree. The Kuvasz watched as he gave an odd look at the flowers that surrounded him, could the flowers be possibly the cause of his outburst? White paws carried the female over toward the male, she sank her claws into the dirt. With a few thrusts she had begun to dig up the flowers, the dirt loosened as she clawed and dug. Soon enough the flowers that surrounded him had been disposed off. ' Better?...' She asked with a cock of her head to the left side.
So what brings both of you here?
Delilah ears twitched as she turned her head back towards the female who had spoke. De wasn't that far so Delilah had no reason to run back towards them, ' Many things, De..' She said simply but her words seemed to have a deep meaning hidden in them as they rolled off her smooth pink tongue. Soft blue eyes lowered a bit then rose once more to meet the females.

Glad he had accepted the moss, the Saluki nudged it toward him eagerly and smiled as he downed it whole. When he choked on the bitter taste, she laughed playfully. “It’s medicine, what do you expect? But it will help you, I’m sure of it.” She was happy her trip into the woods had proved successful, and even happier that he had taken the herb without a fuss. Now she felt she could relax.
Amber nodded toward him, encouraging him to go rest -- after everything that had just happened, he needed and deserved it. When he began to sit down in a patch of yellow flowers, the female turned to strike up a conversation with the dogs beside her only to flinch in surprise when he suddenly got up and bolted in the other direction. “Huh…what?” she barely got out. She could see him eyeing the flowers like they were something evil and unclean.
Oh. It was the symmetrical thing again. Amberlyn sighed and gave him a pathetic smile. He was definitely going to need to overcome this silly irrational fear of his.
As the female called Delilah went over to the spot that had caused Toretto to explode again, Amber watched in horror as the delicate flowers were ripped from their roots and crushed beneath strong paws. She said nothing as Delilah rejoined them, but let out a soft little 'harrumph' noise instead. What did these guys have against flowers, anyway? Toretto, at least, seemed to be calmed by the destruction of the plants.
With everything calm again, Amber sat back on her haunches and faced both females. “I’m traveling,” she said brightly in response to De’s question. Then she clarified, “To Hexasol. I’m hoping I’ll be able to settle down there, maybe find a pack or at least some friendly company.” At Delilah’s vague, rather mysterious response, she of course couldn’t help but to excitedly ask, “What do you mean by that?” The Saluki was easily intrigued by everything.
She then noticed Badeya staring at the tree Toretto was resting under and wondered what was wrong with it. Her head tilted. It did look oddly proportioned, with shorter branches on the left side and larger ones on the right. There was also a patch of leaves missing on one of the higher limbs. Amber grimaced as her gaze went to the young male, knowing he had chosen the spot hastily and probably wasn't aware of what he was laying under. If he thought the flowers looked wrong, the tree would send him into a coma. Quickly, she turned back to the females and whispered, “Don’t say a word. Maybe if we say nothing, he won’t even notice.”
