Being a spy, she had to be careful about anyone seeing her; the only times she ever entered Iris territory was at night and during a new moon, the only time where it would be difficult for others to see her. Other than the guards, there were only a handful of members active at the moment, most of which were couples spending quality time together. The others were house cats hunting or exploring in the night.
Celia slowly padded down the streets within the Prides' territory paying no mind to the happy couples and other young felines as the lioness walked passed. She headed to the Slaughterhouse and a smirk gradually grew on her face when she heard certain sounds getting louder and louder the closer she got. From what she could hear, some of the prisoners were still awake, either howling to be set free or howling in pain. She was so focused on listening to the familiar sounds of immense pain that Celia didn't notice that she had entered the slaughterhouse until she saw one of the guards, a young leopard, sleeping in front of one of the cells.
The lioness stopped in front of the leopard, looking down at him and giving the sleeping big cat a look of contempt before looking at the cell he was supposed to be guarding. The door hadn't been disturbed, but the cell was empty, the lioness could only tell it was once occupied because of the pungent smell of dog. Whoever was in the cell probably either: had enough strength to climb the door, or was able to slip between the bars while this guard was sleeping.
She looked back down at the leopard, the look of contempt still on her face as she swiped the young feline across his face, scaring him and effectively waking him up. "What do you think you're doing, wake up." She said angry, as if she had authority over him. Surprised, the leopard only rose to his haunches, looking left and right before looking at Celia. He sat there, looking at her confused before he realized what had just happened and an angry expression appeared on his face.
"Who the hell do you think you are? I don't answer to you." He spat back at her. Celia only smirked. "Fine then, have fun explaining that to Alex." She gestured to the empty cell he was meant to guard. Still smirking, she stood and watched his reaction to seeing a now empty cell, it was a mixture of confusion and panic. She stood and watched him for a moment before slowly making her way out of the slaughterhouse.
She had planed on leaving by morning, but she might as well try to find the escaped canine before then. She occasionally stopped and smelled the air as she approached the remains of the previous prison.
(feel free to change the dialog, that's all I could think of for them to say)

Alex asked once the lioness had left, walking up to the guard after having overheard the exchange between him and the girl. The leopard cringed in fear and gestured weakly to the empty cage where a dog had been just moments ago, opening his mouth to offer some kind of excuse or explanation, but Alex just shook his head and shoved past him impatiently, running out the door and into the cold, dark streets in pursuit of the escaped dog's scent. A second later, he heard a warning cry from another guard and set off in the direction of the sound, speeding through a few narrow alleyways until he finally located his target.
It turned out to be a mastiff, one of the largest breeds of dog he'd ever seen, but a few weeks in the slaughterhouse had rapidly trimmed down its size and strength. Alex did not feel in the least bit threatened. At the mere sight of the ugly, abominable creature, with its deformed-looking face and drooling mouth, he almost started gagging. Just when he thought the canine species could not possibly get more revolting, they went and surprised him anyway. But the way the dog's face lit up with fear when it turned to see Alex approaching it from behind...what a lovely sight that was. He enjoyed seeing the helplessness in a canine's eyes before he killed them, the way their expression would slowly sink into despair at the knowledge that they were about to die.
Alex lunged. He grabbed the mastiff by one of its hind legs and pulled it to the ground, grinning as he heard it yelp in pain, but the dog twisted itself around and struck out with its flailing paws, swiping a series of claw marks into the bridge of Alex's muzzle. Compared to a cat's, its weapons were weak and blunt and only left small scratches - if that had been another lion's paw, he would certainly have just gotten half of his face torn off - but the dog managed to push with enough force that Alex's teeth lost their grip on its leg. He gave out a high-pitched yowl and tried to regain his hold, but the dog just narrowly eluded him and bolted down the street, blind with fear as it crashed into trash cans and pieces of rubble along the road. The entire Pride was probably awake now from all this noise.
Alex didn't stand by and watch him go. He gave chase again, slowing down only slightly when he passed the same lioness from before, lingering in one of the alleys. "Mind helping me out here?" he panted desperately, barely giving her much of a glance before breaking back into a run after the escaped prisoner. Expecting her to be right behind him, he muttered in a low grumble, "I swear, when I catch that dog I'm going to strangle it with its own intestines."

It wasn't too hard to find the escaped prisoner; he probably would have succeeded in hiding in the rubble of the hospital if it wasn't for the dogs revolting stench. The dogs own musty smell mixed with the pride's scent didn't help. Celia easily found the exact spot where the mastiff was trying to hide, swiping her claws at it when she had the chance and scaring it out from the rubble.
The dog sped off into one of the alleyways and Celia chased after it. She somehow actually lost sight of the dog. She paused and sniffed the air again before she heard a yelp that, no doubt, came from the dog. She only caught a gimps of the mastiff blindly running down the street. "Half the pride's probably woken up now." She said to herself with an irritated tone as she followed a white lion she soon recognized as Alex. 'How convenient.' She thought to herself as he spoke. Since the only other lions she was in contact with were her brother, Celia didn't know the first thing about how to get someone to like you. She wasn't in love the young Iris leader, you could say she was in love with his current status. For now, she could probably just get on his good side, hopefully without having to act like a suck up.
"Pretty ugly looking thing isn't it?" She said as she ran next to the lion looking ahead at the dog. She soon sped up, getting close enough behind the dog to reach out a paw and dig her claws into its skin. The dog yelped as it was dragged to the ground. It tried to lung at the lioness; it only managed to snap its jaws in her face before she slapped the dog across the face and silenced it.
The mastiff was on his belly now looking between the two lions. It was trying to look defiant but, it was obvious that the dog was afraid, as it should be. "Could this thing even be considered a dog?" She said and laughed again, actually amazed at how ugly it looked. "I guess you couldn't expect any better."

"I think this one just set the new standard for ugliness." He vaguely wondered whether the dog's looks were a product of the work of human meddling, or if the canine species had produced this disgusting breed all by itself. Probably a mixture of both. He skidded to a halt when they caught up to it and allowed her to run forward and bring the beast down so that it was at the mercy of the two lions.
Alex made a low sound of surprise when she planted a hard smack across its ugly mug and sent the stupid thing rolling to the ground. Impressive, he thought. Why haven't I seen this girl around before? Whose daughter is she? His ear pricked when he noticed she was talking to him again, pulling him out of his own conversation with himself. "Well, let's see if we can improve his looks," Alex suggested darkly, leaning down so that he was eye level with their victim.
Before the dog could process what was about to happen, he took hold of its face with the underside of his paw and with one swipe removed a large chunk of the wrinkly flesh surrounding its muzzle. Blood poured forth like a river and stained his paw pads. Alex messily smeared some of the hot liquid around the dog's face and ears like a child playing with red paint. "Much better," he said with a satisfied smile, though it was probably barely audible over the dog's screaming and crying. His eyes flickered to the lioness to see what she thought of his work of art.

"Well, let's see if we can improve his looks,"
After the white lion said this, the small lioness sat on her haunches and wrapped her tail around her paws as she waited to see what Alex would do. A sadistic smirk gradually grew on her face as she watched Alex tear off a chunk of the dogs wrinkled face. One of her ears twitched when the dog started to, loudly, howl in pain but, a cruel smirk could still be seen as she watched the canines blood pour from the large wound and stain the concrete.
"Simply beautiful." She complimented him with an equally satisfied smile. But, even though the sound of a dog in a great amount of pain was like music to her ears, it was getting to be very annoying.
In Celia's opinion, death was too kind of a punishment for any of her enemies, at the moment, this dog would be an exception. After a short moment, an irritated expression replaced satisfied look. She lowered her head to the writhing canine's level and released a low rumbling growl, it was only meant to be a warning. She forced the dog to the ground when it didn't seem to hear her over it pained yelping. She dug her claws into its flesh, and released another low growl. That seemed to get its attention.
"Unless you'd like the whole pride to join us, I suggest you keep quiet." In the dogs line of vision there was a cat standing at the door of one of the buildings to see about the noise. It looked half asleep at first but seemed to wake up when it saw the white lion standing over a dog.
(sorry it's not very good)

He watched, the fluffy tip of his tail twitching in amusement, as she buried her sharp claws into its hide and drew out even louder yelps and screams from its bleeding mouth. But as much as he was enjoying the show, he had to agree with her that the noise was starting to become grating. Looking around, he could see some other cats were watching them from a distance, obviously brought here by all the calamity.
Alex glared at the mastiff, his eyes burning with cold fire. "Are you deaf or just stupid, mutt? She told you to shut up!" His claws slid out from their sheaths again and he slammed his thick paw into the side of the dog's skull. There was a sound of something snapping in half, and its head fell back to the ground at an awkward angle. He blinked and tentatively poked the dog's neck with one claw. No movement. There wasn't any sound of breathing from its parted jaws, either.
"Aww man, did I kill it?" he whined, sitting back down and pouting, his shoulders hunched. "Well, so much for that. It was fun while it lasted." Alex sighed and kept his gaze on the dog, watching to see if it might start moving again, or if it really was dead after all. If it was, he now had a giant mess to clean up. Unless they moved the body soon, it would start to rot and stink up the entire area - as if the stench of dog wasn't already bad enough on its own. "Oh hey, by the way, I didn't catch your name. Pretty sure we've never met before." Forgetting about the mastiff for the moment, he cocked his head to the side and gave her a friendly, curious look, the anger and bloodlust he'd felt while punishing the dog now completely gone from his eyes.

The dog was probably just really stupid, which wouldn't have surprised her. She dug her claws into its shoulders, which caused it to yelp louder, if it was possible. The noise was waking more cats; felines of various shapes and sizes were standing around to see what the cause of the pained noises were. She looked around irritated, though it was obvious that the felines surrounding them weren't the cause.
The white lion slammed his paw against the noisy mastiff's head and she heard an audible snap, as well as a crack. The noise abruptly stopped and she thought the dog had been knocked out. But his mouth was still open and bleeding. His face was frozen with a mixture of immense pain and fear. She still thought death was much too kind of a punishment but, it was necessary. If the dog had stayed quiet, like he had been told, he would most likely still be alive now. He probably could have gone without food for a while, but still alive.
She looked back to the Iris leader and chuckled silently to herself at how much he looked like a cub right now. "Oh well." She sighed and removed her paws from the now bleeding corpse and sitting on her haunches. "Luckily, there's more where that came from." She said, speaking as if it was no big deal.
She stared down at the dead canine for a moment. Blood from it earlier wound was now starting to soak the ground and its fur. It should probably be moved soon, or else there would be an even worse smell than before wafting in the air by morning.
"I could help to clean this if you like?" She offered, hoping to be able to spend more time with him. Now that there was no escaped scum to worry about, she could focus on getting him to fall for her. She had absolutely no idea how she would be able to do that though.
"Oh hey, by the way, I didn't catch your name. Pretty sure we've never met before."
"Oh, right. Sorry about that." She said, still sitting on her haunches and nodding her head in respect. "My name is Celia, one of the spies. I'm not usually seen here during the daytime."
(maybe we could say this is before the treaty? I pmed Hunter and she's too big to go to them for training)

Her ears twitched at the sound of a dog yelping, Then it was silent, All except for a thump on the ground. 'Dang, Someone must have killed it' She thought angrily as she walked a bit faster towards where the sound came from. It wasn't hard to find, With the awful smell of dog blood and dog in general. Exile sat a few feet away from the two lions not really wanting to sit next to two felines who were almost two times her size. Flicking her tail she scrunched up her nose "Why did you make such a terrible smell, Could you have killed it outside?" She complained her tail twitching with irritation. She usually came here just to get away from the other cats, But that smell would be in here for weeks! Well she would need to find a new place to got then. "And how did it get out anyway? Wasn't there someone watching it?" She asked not caring if they were bigger, Or higher ranking than her, Seemed like all the cats that were bigger than her were more important, Well too bad, They would get treated like everyone else. Just cause they were give a special rank didn't mean she had to like, or be nice to them, Hell she rarely even listened to the higher ranked cats, She usually just told them if they wanted something done they could do it themselves, And that had cost her a portion of her left ear and got her several scars, But did she care? No, Not at all. [/style] |

Stupid canines could be found everywhere you looked, and it wouldn't be long until another one took this dog's former place in the slaughterhouse. He nodded, smiling a little when she offered to help, grateful for the assistance. True, he could have just made that lazy guard take care of the mess instead, but seeing as the dog's death was his fault, he felt he had to take the responsibility. He'd punish the guard in another way later, perhaps by making him go without food or water for a day. Those patrols needed to learn somehow he wouldn't tolerate them slacking off on the job.
"Yeah, that'd be great, thanks. We'll take it out to the borders and dump it somewhere beyond there for the scavengers to pick off." He wasn't going to dirty his claws by burying it - not that the vile thing deserved a proper burial anyway. And how marvelous it would be if the dog's family or friends stumbled upon its decayed carcass being shred apart by vultures. He hoped that would happen. All dogs, even those not from the Tempest Pack, should know and fear him and his Pride. All of them were inferior, disgusting excuses for life that needed to be wiped out from this city and the world.
"A spy, huh?" he said before grabbing hold of the the dog's front legs, motioning for her to take the rear ones so they could begin the long process of dragging it to the border. The stench made his eyes water and his nose burn, but he pressed on anyway. Luckily the cold air and musty alley scents dulled his sense of smell, otherwise he'd probably be vomiting right now. "Got any dirt on the rest of the city?" His mouth was full so the words came out a little garbled, but he looked over at her with much interest. Besides Sota, there weren't any cats who regularly reported news and gossip to him. Now that he was leader, he liked to know as much about the land beyond Iris as he could.
He impatiently dropped the body for a moment when another cat, a much smaller one, approached them and began complaining about the smell of the body. Alex would have laughed along with the cat if it looked like she was joking, but she actually seemed to be accusing him and Celia of doing something wrong. As if it was their fault the thing stank so bad. "Look, you can either stop your bitching and help us, or just leave," he replied simply, picking up the mastiff's limbs and continuing on again. Was she even aware who she was speaking to? She hadn't even offered him a bow of the head or some other sign of respect. Alex tried to be a courteous leader to all his Pride, but if someone disrespected him, he'd repay that disrespect with some of his own. She was lucky he hadn't clawed her in the face for her insolence like he was kind of tempted to.

"Yeah, that'd be great, thanks. We'll take it out to the borders and dump it somewhere beyond there for the scavengers to pick off."
She nodded as she stood and went to pick up the dead canines hind legs. "This could also make a nice gift for the Tempest pack. If you're up for the trip." She said with a dark chuckle as she imagined the look on those dogs' faces the look on those dogs' faces at the sight of a body with claw marks and a good chunk of its' face missing.
She didn't manage to get much information while she was out. Celia was slightly irritated by this. She was actually hoping the winter would freeze half, if not all, of the Tempest. Maybe there would be a good chance of that happening.
She only nodded again before taking hold of the hind legs. Even if it was still alive she wouldn't have bothered with being careful; she squeezed her jaws shut enough to get a good grip. She could feel her teeth touching the bones.
"Got any dirt on the rest of the city?"
It took a moment for her to figure out what he was saying before she answered with legit disappointment. "Not really, I'm afraid to say." Her speech would probably be just as difficult to understand because of the bone and flesh in her jaws. "I did hear about a plague lingering about." She spoke again, her words still somewhat difficult to understand. "Who knows? Maybe Tempest will save us the trouble and freeze to death." She joked with another dark chuckle.
She dropped the body also and didn't bother to hide her irritation at the sight of another feline. Not only was she annoyed by the fact that she was complaining and speaking to Alex like nothing would happen to her, she was also annoyed that she wasn't alone with Alex anymore. As Alex and the stranger spoke, Celia silently inspected the smaller cat from beside the white lion.
It was very bold for a cat of her size to speak in such a way to two lions, much less the leader of the pride. 'She has a death wish.' The lioness decided to herself. If not today, Celia actually hoped to meet this leopard in the future; if Celia was going to rule the pride one day, the smaller cat had better learn some respect.
She stood and watched the leopard for a moment before smirking and turning her attention back to Alex. "If you'd like, Alex, I have no problem taking care of this on my own." She said in a calm tone before picking up the hind legs again, hoping the white lion would understand what she was implying.

She did however shift her weight from her back legs to mostly on her front legs so she could spring back if she needed to, She could tell the lioness was getting edgy, She also knew that the lion was very high ranking, So he could simply order her killer or exiled or worse, Imprisoned. She didn't think he would take it that far though, Not with a spy that could get him good information on Tempest pack. She flicked her tail again her claws scratching against the floor, She was already thinking about bolting away from these two lions but didn't was to seem like a coward and decided to hold her ground, And hold back a few of her rude comments. Her eyes quickly, Yet discreetly scanned the area so she could decide where she would flee to if the lioness, Or lion attacked her, Not really seeing anything spectacular she decided she would turn back the way she came and use her speed and agility against the two bulky felines. With her emergency plan sorted out she visibly relaxed, But kept her weight balanced on her front paws so she could spring back or to the side to complete her escape, Just in case she pushed the lioness to far, The lion was clearly more in control of his rage so to speak, And by the looks of things the lioness was very unstable when it came to anger and rage. Alex loved the idea. "Why not? I'm in a generous mood tonight, and after all, it's the season of giving." He grinned at the thought of those dogs waking up to find a rotting corpse outside their dens. Merry Christmas, Tempest. Love, the Iris Pride. Besides, it wasn't like he had much else to do anyway, and Sota was probably patrolling around somewhere; she could handle the place without him for an hour or two.
The plague...he'd heard of that as well. Thankfully, it hadn't yet shown its face around this area, and he prayed it would stay that way. The very last thing he needed was for his best hunters to be getting ill when prey was already so scarce. "We can hope," he said with half-hearted smirk, "but I think if anyone's going to freeze, it'll be me. Though you've gotta admit, I'd make a pretty good looking ice sculpture." He tried to joke, but already he was starting to shiver and go numb from the freezing night air, which didn't bode well for their trip to Tempest. He didn't want to admit he had such a large weakness, but the unfortunate fact was that lions were not made for cold climates, and he couldn't pretend that he was the exception to that rule.
His whiskers drooped a little and he continued to look at Celia, wondering if she felt the same way, or if she had developed a tolerance for the cold over the years. Come to think of it, how old was she? She looked very young, maybe not much older than Alex himself, but it was harder to tell with lionesses. He debated asking her, trying to decide if that would come across as rude somehow, until he felt a surge of red hot anger shoot up his spine.
That stupid spotted cat. Who had let this immature little shit into the Pride? How could she even dare to insult him like that, not just once but twice? Not only was he a leader, he was also a big cat who could crush her skull with a simple swat of his paw if he wanted to. She was practically as dumb as a dog! Alex hissed, baring his large front teeth in a vicious snarl that he hoped would send her to her knees, begging for her life. He held his claws out toward her face, ready to strike at a moment's notice. "No, it's fine, Celia. This won't take long, trust me." He snorted and turned from the lioness to gaze down imposingly at the spotted cat. "This is a warning. Apologize now to both of us, or I'll make sure you never insult another member of Iris ever again." He wouldn't kill a member of his own Pride, not over something like this. But he'd cut her tongue right out of her mouth if she didn't take back her words. Nobody disrespected him or his friends and expected to get away with it.

Exile chuckled "Why dont you attack me, Kill me, Do whatever you damn well please, At least i know wrong from right, Because there are two types of felines in the pride, The ones like me who know that felines aren't meant to be bossed around by other felines. And the ones like you who think some stupid birth right or won battle makes them all high and mighty. Well guess what king alex you dont tell me what to do, Im not like every other cat in this pride, Your not all high and mighty and you dont shit rainbows, Though some cats in this pride would beg the differ just to stay on your good side because you their king. Now if you'll excuse me im going to go find some better company." She snarled turning and trotting off, Her tail nearly hitting him in the face as she turned, But staying just a whisker away, She didn't want to push it was far as blows, because a fight with two lions was a fight she couldn't hope to win. Smiling she turned the corner but stopped and stealthily peeked back around careful not to be seen or heard, Just wanting to see and hear his reaction of her little outburst. 'I can't believe i actually told that uptight, high and mighty lion how i felt and still have my ears and face intact. Though i think it will be wise to avoid those two for a while, just incase they decide to hold a grudge.' She though her tail twitching as she sat, peeking around the corner, Using the shadow as a cover so that they thought she had left.
