Myrrh felt she had every right to toss the cub off the cliff to join its mother in death, but did not act on it. Still hunched over, as if cowering, she stalked over to where her brother now stood, looking over the cub. Her eyes cried out for murder, but her body remained still. Without it's mother, it won't last long. She whispered, her voice rough and almost venomous. Won't you let me put it out of it's misery, sweet brother? - Myrrh, Wonder What's Wrong with Me
”Natiri, get away from it!” The Hound’s commanding voice lashed in the air as if his daughter was innocently toying around with a poisonous snake. ”And you, get lost!” He snapped after the young lion, the burnt skin on his face moving as he bared his teeth at Denim and growled. ”You will stay away from my daughter, or I will kill you - even if it's the last thing in my life I'm going to do” he rasped, looking the lion straight in the eye.
